Donsteve2:

I truly agree with you your points.
However, my cardinal concern remains this;
How come with a very concerned and humane government, a good working system, stable and favourable policies for business to thrive, there are still beggars, thieves, no -do-goods in these countries?

How come we still have very successful people sprouting out every corner of Nigeria despite the horrible kind of government and greedy
politician piloting our affairs?

Some have spent 10 years in the USA without any tangible achievement while the purposeful man living in Lagos has transformed his
life and fortune same time.

Here is my point
Your success is in you. Not in abroad or in your government.
If you choose to make it here, you can and if you choose to make it in abroad, you also can.
However, don't waste your life in frustration because they refused your Visa.

OUTSTANDING SUCCESS IS VERY POSSIBLE IN NIGERIA NOT MINDING THE HARSH OPERATING CONDITION WE HAVE FOUND OURSELVES

Until you find a visa, find a big problem you can solve for Nigeria and get rich. If you are relevant in Naija, you will be relevant anywhere.
You can.

Learn a skill, acquire knowledge, go to the seminar, buy the book and improve your self.
Prepare for that opportunity of a lifetime and wait for it

It must surely come.

YOU ARE THE ANSWER, NOT ABROAD.
YOU CAN BE RELEVANT ANYWHERE EVEN IN NIGERIA
Start now from where you are and with what you have.
I don talk finish!

Well articulated! I agree with your words.

In as much as what you posted is true, we can't rule out the fact that those countries you listed above have a working system while Nigeria doesn't.

Of course, there will always be beggars, robbers, prostitute,....etc, no system is 100% perfect. What do you say to a government that keeps frustrating the efforts of its citizens? No provision for basic amenities, education, jobs and all.

Unarguably, if the same effort that an average Nigerian puts on his/ her work in Nigeria is being put in those countries, the chances of success is high.

Travel / Re: Africans Hide Themselves Inside Matress, To Be Smuggled To Europe by EazyJ(f): 8:30pm On Mar 04, 2020
Not only Africans are migrating desperately to Europe. I watched an update yesterday on Aljazeera showing people from Indonesia and other countries migrating in boats with their families.

Unluckily, a boat capsized and lives were lost. The pathetic part is seeing those innocent babies and children passing through that agony at a tender age.
Travel / Re: Coronavirus: Angola Bans Travellers From Nigeria, China And Others by EazyJ(f): 8:22pm On Mar 04, 2020
Nigeria? We shouldn't be on that list because only few cases have been confirmed. Rather than ban, why not take scrutiny measures and quarantine travellers?

But then, seems every country is using Nigeria to shine these days!

Vaccine abi cure?

Creating vaccine for that Covid19 may have side effect,
Many vaccines have been known to react negatively after use.
The best is to create cure and cure the carriers and not injecting one useless vaccine on covid19 negatives...

Ok, whichever one will end it.

It's getting serious in Italy. We hope the vaccine is found early.

Rejections are inevitable in life, no matter who you are or, where you are from or what you do. You just have to learn to take the good with the bad and hope for the best while expecting the worst.
If your bounce back ability is terrific, you can't suffer from rejections.
Well said! Can't agree less.

Nairaland / General / How Well Do You Handle Rejection? by EazyJ(f): 4:06am On Mar 01, 2020
Rejection, no doubt is inevitable in life although it can be tiring. Often times, frustration and depression might set in if it keeps recurring.

You know that feeling of waiting for so long and optimistic of getting a positive feedback then boom,,…all hopes dashed.

I'm sure job seekers can relate so well with this. After coming back from an interview you thought you aced with all hopes high and looking forward to getting a positive reply and then a rejection mail enters.

How about admission seekers, after a tireless waiting and you already have that picture of your dream school in mind and then you get "Sorry, you were denied admission, try again next year".

Or after taking an online aptitude test and expectant and then you receive " sorry, you failed this test", "sorry, we are looking for excellent candidates at this time".

How well have you been able to handle rejection be it in relationship, job, admission or any area of your life? Do you over think, cry and isolate yourself or you just move on?
You can share tips for handling it better.

It's advisable to go to transcript office directly if you can. ETX is not responsive. They will just keep wasting time.

Communication is a vital ingredient in keeping a relationship. A lot of relationships have died because both partners involved do not know how to communicate effectively with each other.
Learn to speak the love language of your partner otherwise you'd be frustrated at how your efforts in pleasing him remain futile.
How I wish "communication in relationship and marriages" can be taught.
