It shows plugged in, but not charging the battery. It's the ac adapter that is malfunctioning. From my experience, It would later charge back, you should try and disconnect the cable plug from the ac adapter and reconnect it back properly. Allow the ac adapter to cool, don't use it in a hot environment

i actually was doubting the performance of the ac adapter too
for two days now it hasnt even charged, even after disconnecting and connecting the power cable for the adapter
i'll just return the ac adapter on monday abeg

Good evening computer gurus

I just got my laptop Dell latitude e6430 with Windows 10 installed
the charger that came with it worked normally at noon.

At night I noticed than when I plug in the adaptor, the battery light comes on and goes of after few seconds. the laptop has refused to charge, it only shows "plugged in" and it won't charge.

there's no X sign on the battery (it's double cell)
I removed the battery and reinserted, same thing

I powered on the system with no battery it still came on.

I really don't have a spare adapter to know if the adapter is faulty.

Please what could be wrong??

I just verified with a valid US number, guys textnow,textplus and even Google voice isn't working

this is what I did, I downloaded telos app, signed up and verify my mail, make sure your VPN is on before opening the telos app

after signup, select the country and state you want, you'll choose an option for a 3 day free trial
then it will direct you to add your card for payment cos they'll want you to pay after the third day of expiration

I added my card and the number was given...I went to prolific and inputed the number.....boom it worked

then I went on my playstore and unsubscribe form the telos subscription so I can be able to remove my card details...if you don't cancel the subscription from your playstore you won't be able to remove your card
