FamilyRe: Closing Arguments On Friendzoning And "Nice Guys Finish Last" by Eberex(m): 11:41am On Nov 24, 2014
I have gone through all the comments and i think i can share my own personal opinion. First and foremost there are no good guys. Every guy tends to be a good guy only when they are out to impress a girl. Every guy tends to be normal when they are with a girl they are not attracted to, why? because he doesn't give a Bleep what she might think about his attitude. Now to this friend zone thing, i would say its no ones fault as a matter of fact. whoever is friend zoning does so with good reasons. Either he/she is getting some benefits or is a chronic loner.

If i like a girl, its either i want something more or i just want to hit that spot. I wonder how its possible to end up placing her in a category of ''let her just be a friend'', meanwhile she on her own part would read my actions towards her and the same thought would cross her mind ''what does he want? to tap or to stay?'' Only time would answer that question, but in anycase its a complete waste of energy, time and resources if you want something more but he/she only wants friendship. I'll simply walk.

Thundersub was mentioned in the earlier posts, just say you didnt take the time to go through them.

Now to your video upload. You really brought back sweet memory. Do you realize thundersub is a very mature cartoon and it requires one to listen attentively in order to grasp the storyline. For me thundersub is a more mature cartoon amongst its peers.

Can you upload the next episode where they discovered Thundersub?

Ol boi, the OP is either a liar or a fabricator. She just deleted a thread "the man who disvirgined me" where a nairalander accused her she claim to be in her late teen and in 200L. Meanwhile in her deleted thread she claimed to have been disvirgined 10years ago and now she is about to hook up with the man who is now married, asking us for advise. Hey Pascal or whatever your name is, stop writing posts from your imagination.

Jokes EtcRe: Akpos Got his Revenge by Eberex(m): 5:44pm On Nov 20, 2014
Hargbo:
A small boy named Akpos lived in a village in
Warri,
Nigeria. None of his classmates liked him because
of
his stupidity, especially his teacher, who was
always
yelling at him, "You are driving me crazy Akpos!"
One day Akpos' mother came to the school to check
on
how he was doing. The teacher told his mother
honestly, that her son is simply a disaster, getting
very
low marks and had never seen such a dumb boy in
her
entire teaching career!
The mother was shocked at the feedback, withdrew
her
son from the school and even moved to another
town!
25 years later, the teacher was diagnosed with an
incurable heart disease. All the doctors strongly
advised her to have an open heart operation, which
only one surgeon could perform. Left with no other
options, the teacher decided to have the operation,
which was successful.
When she opened her eyes after the surgery, she
saw a
handsome doctor smiling down at her! She wanted
to
thank him, but could not talk. Her face started to
turn
blue, she raised her hand, trying to tell him
something
but eventually died!
The doctor was shocked and was trying to work
out
what went wrong. When he turned around, he saw
our
friend Akpos, working as a cleaner in the clinic,
who
had unplugged the oxygen equipment to connect
his
phone charger!
Don't tell me you thought that Akpos became a
doctor?.... Hehehehe
Akpos got his revenge. Pls correct

Kids of today have nothing to show oo,
Our generation rocked back then,

"Op Abeg where person fit see any of these cartoons buy,

let me start compiling them now for my future kids" grin grin
If you plan on showing your kids these cartoons, you'll be making a huge mistake. One thing you fail to grasp is: during our time there is this air of innocence, like we had nothing to bother us. Besides gsm and all these phones and tablets weren't there to distract us too. Even though these were 2-dimensioned cartoons, they were still better than these present 3D. Morever, there was reading culture back then. How many of our so called kids are interested in what they say in cartoons other than the action and violent involved.

[quote author=milkytea post=28193631]Excuse you. smiley

I was under the impression that I could post cartoons/shows that I actually ENJOYED. I'm not going to post a cartoon that I didn't even watch myself nor did I enjoy. I didn't like fraggle rock, therefore I did not post a photo of it. I'm sorry if you are somehow pressed by my decision.

Like I said in my other post, I obviously didn't grow up the same way everyone else did on this post. I guess my interests were and still are a bit eclectic and not slavishly uniform to the vast majority of posters on this thread.[/qu

It's not about you ''not growing up the same way as we do''.............. you were simply not in our category or better still generation

Moesha started in 1996.
My So-Called Life started in 1994. (The year I was born.)
Bill Nye the Science Guy educational series started in 1993.
CatDog started in 1998.
All Real Monsters started in 1994.
Adventures of Pete and Pete started in 1993.

All of these are shows I grew up with from the start, perhaps with the exception of Courage the Cowardly Dog which began much later in 1999.
I'm not doubting they didnt start from what you wrote, but there are cartoons you will mention to people back then and i bet you they wont even think twice to tell you in details what the cartoon is all about. Now why is Voltron, muppet babies, fraggle rock etc not on your list?

I'm 20 years old.

Just because we didn't grow up watching the same shows, is not room enough for you to senselessly insult me.
The term ''Indomie generation'' is not an insult my dear. It is a term used to differentiate your generation from ours. So deal with it.

Back then i would get so upset because the humans are either too slow or too dumb to catch a glimpse of big bird's best friend Snuffy. They appear after he must have walked away. But na now i come understand say na ojoro dem dey do for us all those times. The suspense was just too much back then.

What an agent, what a squirrel
He's got the country in a whirl.
What's his name?
Shhh...Secret Squirrel.
He's got tricks, up his sleeve,
Most bad guys, won't believe.
A bullet proof coat, a cannon hat,
A machine gun cane with a rat tat tat tat.

Fights foreign spies
In his disquise,
Takes him many places,
He's a squirrel of many faces,
Who's that?
Who's that?
Who's that?
Shhh...Secret Squirrel.
