when jon went to dragonstone, was it to beg Dany for help.... no... it was to mine dragon glass... it was when Dany saw the horror Jon and his men faced beyond the wall when fighting the night king that made her join the fight...... - He avoided one on one combat
- Got knocked off his dragon
- Couldn't fight Jon snow
- killed a man without balls
- tried to kill a cripple
- And got killed by a teenage girl

There is a very small mainroad that separates being brave and being stupid. I prefer being wise. I'd chose the battles I fight well.

Each single person knows where they are good at. Where they are competent, and where they are not. We have warriors, but those in the crypts were not warriors. They do not understand battle, it's strategies...fighting in general. What's the use of putting them in battle only for them to become a liability.

Some people on this thread called same a coward. They faulted him for not going into the crypt. His incompetence on the battle field caused the death of Ed. Would have also caused that of Jon.

You can't eat your cake and have it. You can't chastise Sam for not joining the people in the crypt as he is useless in battle and still go ahead to call those who went useless because they can't pick up a sword and fight. No. It doesn't work that way.

If those in the crypt had fought on the battlefield, best case scenario, they would have died and become wights, worst case scenario, they would have cause the deaths of other soldiers who would probably want to save them...and they would have also died.

One of the bravest things to do is know who you are, who you really are. And be contented with it. Those in the crypt weren't useless. They just stepped aside for those who were good at the killing do it.

At the end of Season 7, episode 1, when the wall was brought down by the NK, we saw more than one giant. I'm just surprised the directors didn't avert their minds to this. Despite the many giants, we only saw one in Season 8 Episode 3. I mean can someone explain that part to me?

The remaining giants were still on their way to join the others, but unfortunately they didn't make it before Arya killed their master.

Tyrion really fall my hand there by not stepping out...the guyman picked up some items at the beginning of the episode. I thought it was weapons...didn't know it was just wine and maybe bread. . If they were given small chance, Sansa and Tyrion would've made out right there sef.

Sansa is a girl who has interest only on things that has to do with high taste. Being a queen, wearing fine dress and getting married to a Prince. Which is what her sister Arya know already.

Well, I understand the anti-climax associated with the 'ordinary' killing of the night king...it kind'a looks too conventional to hype a character that much and then take him off in a whim. Many expected a fight to the finish, probably this episode would have been reserved for the last. There seem not to be any other intriguing warfare or scintillating plot-line to keep viewers in suspense.

Anyway, my own be say those two dragons no do the kind damage I been dey expect dem to. Infact, at a time I felt they were just flying around aimlessly. There are a lot of plot-holes shaa, but then that is why it is a movie. As for Arya and the Night king scene, I felt Arya took one of the faces of the night walkers; maybe one of those flanking the night king. Just notice seconds before Arya 'flew' in, one of the knight walkers flinched kind of, or more like heard a sound and wondered where it was coming from.

Me, I was just wondering what the night king wants with Bran. Just to kill him? why make so much drama out of it? I thought dude wanted a human soul to harvest or something. So all the killing and raising of army is just to kill a boy?

Arya didn't wear any mask. The moment she left the hound and the witch , she ran and didn't stop running until she got to where Bran was, and then hid. Even Bran may not have seen her, knowing how clever she is with not being seen. The night king was close enough for her to leap. From the leap she was probably up a tree or something.

The night king wanted Bran because from what Bran said, its what he has always done with the former three eyed ravens that have come and gone. What does the three eyed ravens possess? Knowledge of humanity. Knowledge of history, past and present, which the three eyed ravens possess. If he kills Bran, he would succeed in wiping out history of humanity. There will not be a continuity and thus humanity would be clueless.

What is it that we did not hear: that Arya was running from dead bodies probably that of Jaime because the shape looked like him. Or probably her dad back to life, bla bla bla.

First and foremost, in the strategy room they all agreed that Theon would protect Bran. John snow had his own battle besides his own mission was to kill the Night king before he gets to Bran, and you are here saying he did nothing? Night king would have engaged him to one on one before you know he did something

You do not need any detail. First of all answer these questions: "who was the faceless man? How does his magic work? How was it possible to take a face of a person and then now have all their attribute"? How was it possible to sneak up on the best fighters without being noticed? Remember what Little finger told Sansa about the many faced gods?

You cannot have the details because Arya's powers have never been revealed fully for us to know her weakness. So deal with it.

If the show can keep her powers a secret, why then will they want to give you details as to how she does what she does?

He didn't fight John snow because he had a valerian steel, when his main puropse was to get Bran, why waste time on Snow when his armies can?

yes there is so many unanswered questions about NK's death but theres no doubt on the emotions that scene created. This is wat they want to achieve. Fast and action packed determiner. Most people thought that if jon had maybe killed NK dragon, something would have happened because at that climax, everyone wanted something from somewhere to happen. And behold, she came out.

The beauty is that even the plot isnt far fetched.

Same thing i am thinking. Night king killed in episode 3 gaddamit! Not even episode 5, and then leave episode 6 for Cersei's death. I believe there are more twists to the movie even after the Night king's death.

There are still 3 episodes left, and you would start wondering what else they will show us. And remember, the lenght of the remaining episodes are the same as this one.

Abeg stop this. The same Arya was struggling to sneak past those zombie wights, but she disappeared and ran past the main White Walker generals without any of them noticing. Don't get me wrong; this episode was beautiful but let's not pretend the death of the Night King wasn't anticlimactic asfuck.

I hope the Bran/Night King/White Walkers story hasn't ended. They can't just end a threat that was built up for 7 seasons like this. I think there's a deeper meaning to that stare down Bran and the Night King had, and what Bran was doing throughout the war, cos he couldn't have just been playing with birds all along.

To your bolded "The crypt is an enclosure", you cannot compare the crypt to an open field, can you? How she gets there before him is not our business, but it is something she is capable of doing.

As for the Night king's death, i think it would look like Thanos death in the early part of Endgame when Thor cut off his head. Will the Night king have any further role to play, i don't know? Can he clog into Bran after he was stabbed by Arya? I don't know. But i think ther movie is trying to let us know the war is not only centered at the night king. The real war is with Cersei. The Night king might have been just another enemy waiting to get killed.

The Night king was too overconfident. Didn't you see the time he wasted waiting when he saw Bran? He was even waiting for Theon to make his move, because he believed he had all the time in the world. And when he killed Theon, what else was standing in between him and Bran? no one!

There was no way in a life time would he have envisaged Arya's move. Even we the audience didn't, talk less of rhe night king.
