Nairaland GeneralWhat Could Be The Problem With The Rechargeable Fan? by Eberex(op): 5:06pm On Dec 22, 2016
I bought Lontor rechargeable fan from JUMIA yesterday. I assembled it and since the instruction says charge 20 hours first before use i obliged. But while the charging was ongoing i tried to switch on the fan to see if it was working. Alas, nothing happened! LED was working. All other functions, but the blades refuse to roll.

What might be the problem? must i charge it fully before it works? Isnt it suppose to come with atleast some energy stored so one can check if it works?

Any suggestions?

How do i contact JUMIA? That's why i asked the delivery man to get someone to assemble it but he told me its not how it is done.

Yes was scammed by Jumia. I bought one rechargeable fan during this their black Friday only for me to start using the fan and realized that the fan is not working cry
hmm i just received my order from jumia too. After assembling it refuse to work, But it was charging. Does it mean there was no single energy that came with it to test if it would work after assembling? Or how long am i suppose to wait for it to charge?

WHAT IF SHE WAS THE CAUSE? let's take for instance you once proposed and she refused saying it would disturb her plans. That was like 3 years ago, and now she is in the picture, as friends ofcourse but always making some moves indirectly. Even asking who a particular girl was in his facbook that is always liking any posts he puts up.

Will u ask such a girl such question? mba!

The way a lady presents her self would go a long way to determine how she would end up. You don't expect to be met at a club and treated like a queen? Na winch you wan use?

What i have discovered though is, it takes a guy less than a minute to categorize where you belong after meeting with you. All other things are just branding.

Nnamdisblog:
An MMM Nigeria participant has vowed to visit a native doctor following the news of the freezing of all accounts by the MMM Nigeria Admin for a month.

The unnamed man who was riding in a car with his friends said he regretted putting his money in the scheme as he had a premonition not to do so.

He claimed he had just pledged the sum of N100,000 before the news of the alleged crash of MMM.

He said in pidgin English: “I don die oo. This money, my mind tell me say no play, no play. I no know why I no listen to my mind. Na last week I give them N100k”

RomanceRe: What Lesson Did Your Last Relationship Teach You? by Eberex(m): 7:49am On Dec 14, 2016
What can i say? I once dated a girl and even proposed to her. She accepted but after two weeks she called to say she cannot accept it. Reasons best known to her. I collected my ring back. But remained friends, since i aint the type who let such issues disturb my peace.

Fast forward to three years. She is back in the picture, but i'm already in a serious relationship. And to worsen it, she is a friend to my girl on facebook and yet she still comes and hang around me.

Meanwhile the devil in me is telling me to have my own pound of flesh. Pretend to accept her back and dump her too. This was a girl i loved, and even did almost everything to make her happy and comfortable.

Nairaland has created more panic on the MMM issue than any other source .

It is very unfair and immature ,

Besides, MMM hasn't crashed , but why are the mods quick to push anything related to "Mmm crash" to FP . why create unnecessary panic among averagely 60% of nairalanders who are active participants of MMM .
I pray u will be quick to push MMM topics to FP when it comes back by January
Please be wise

USUALLY MEN LIKE TO GET MARRIED TO YOUNGER WOMEN BECAUSE, BIOLOGICALLY SPEAKING, WHEN SHE STARTS GIVING BIRTH AND GETTING OLDER, THE WOMEN TENDS TO LOOK OLDER THEN THE MEN. SO GETTING MARRIED TO A YOUNGER WOMAN IS LIKELY GOING TO MAKE YOU GUYS LOOK LIKE AGE MATES AFTER SO MANY YEARS.

FOR A WOMAN SIX YEARS OLDER........HER LOOK TO THAT OF THE MAN AFTER MANY YEARS WOULD CLEARLY SHOW SHE IS WAY TOO OLDER THAN HIM.

BUT AFTER ALL SAID AND DONE...AGE IS JUST A NUMBER.

You didn't answer my question. Yes fornication is a sin. So now tell me, why are conceiving if they indulged in it and still conceive even after marriage and traditional rites? meanwhile those who followed the proper channel are yet to, 5 years and still counting.

waiting for your response and dont try to ask me silly questions
Christianity EtcRe: The Ancestral Curses by Eberex(m): 1:10pm On Nov 20, 2016
Seun:
If a particular illness runs in your family, it is probably because the disease is genetic in nature. For example, there are families in which every woman develops breast cancer at a particular age. Scientists have found that certain genes are responsible for their tendency to have breast cancer. Angelina Jolie discovered that she has this gene and decided to go for a preventive double mastectomy in order to avoid it. She has also opted to adopt kids so she won't pass the genes to the next generation. Some families tend to have a lot of sicklers, and this is because of the sickle cell gene. The solution is for people from such families to marry people who don't have the gene at all. These are medical issues, and not spiritual. When you attribute medical issues to evil spirits, you prevent the victims from seeking the medical help that they need. How wicked!

If marital problems run in your family, it's probably because nobody in your family knows how a healthy marriage works. Almost everything you know about marriage comes from your parents, and you are likely to make the same mistakes that they did. The solution is to educate yourself on marriage from external sources like books, the Internet, etc and to make sure the partner you choose is very compatible with you and preferably comes from a healthy family. And to seek counseling from marriage counselors, not your pastor who may not know much. If both partners in a marriage come from broken homes, it's highly likely to fail, unless both of them work really really hard to make it work.

If financial problems run in your family, it's due to lack of financial knowledge and education. The solution is to break that cycle by getting educated in an economically viable profession (not Yoruba Studies) and being enterprising. Also, it would be foolish to make financial decisions based on your parents' advice if your parents are poor or financially illiterate. You need to have advisers who know more than they do.

If bad habits such as alcoholism, smoking or drug addiction run in your family, the solution is to never expose yourself to these vices. Never take a glass of wine. Never try cigarettes. Never try drugs. Never keep a friend who does any of these things. Never go to a party or night club where you will be pressured to try these things. Because you are likely to be more susceptible to addiction than most people. One sip of wine could place you on the path to ruin. So don't risk it! However, if the habit bothering you is masturbation, don't worry about it; it's normal.

The suggestion that any problem that runs in your family could be caused by imaginary "ancestral curses" is damaging because it distracts you from the real causes of your problems and the real solutions. It's not even biblical anyway, in my opinion.
what of inability to conceive if the proper traditional rites are done in a family whereas other siblings and cousin are giving birth all because they got pregnant before performing the rites?
that was the observation in a certain family as well as their cousins. the females who believe in pregnancy after marriage plus traditional rites are having difficulty taking in...medically no problem. while those who maybe by mistake or whatever you call it got pregnant before marriage are still giving birth.
can you explain that?

if you want to be Successful , Marry an Igbo Woman – Daddy Freeze Writes
Nov 19 , 2016 • By Kush
Cool FM On Air -Personality has shared his thoughts on the recurring broken relationship and marriages among Yoruba men and urged them to marry Igbo women if they want to be successful .
Daddy Freeze
Multi- award winning popular Cool FM Lagos radio personality , Ifedayo Olarinde , also known as Daddy Freeze , has shared his advise to Yoruba men , saying if they want to be successful in life , they should marry Igbo women .
Below is how the popular outspoken OAP who is famed for showing off his lavish lifestyle on Instagram , shared his thoughts ;
****************************************
If you are Yoruba and you are male, and you want to be successful in life marry an Igbo woman . ~ Chiekezi Dozie.
I kinda agree… especially since I am Yoruba myself… From my ‘ little ’ experience , gathered during my university days and early bachelorhood and with body count on both sides , ( before I gave my life to Christ ), I can , through my own experience , say that Igbo girls are so much cleaner, more respectful, value marriage more, less argumentative and problematic , treat husbands better , are more beautiful , have sexier bodies , are more family oriented , cook better and are much more enterprising than Yoruba ladies .
Unfortunately , I have never dated a Hausa , Fulani , Efik or Kalabari woman so I can ’t comment on those. But if I were to pick between Yoruba and Igbo women , Na Igbo all the way o ! Igbo kwenu! ~ FRZ

Your experience in the field will trump any inexperienced newbie who is just reading. I studied computing and somehow ended up in Warehousing doing inventory management. I was recently reading a book on Warehousing Science and I was surprised how much I full understood the book and the rationale behind certain things we were doing in d warehouse. Others who attend with me had zero Warehousing experience and struggled badly.
Thanks, i plan on taking the exam next year.
