ohk @ Mstia i am back from google and deres rily something called too high s.perm count and it is called polyzoospermia....but from what i see its from about 250million and above. The reasons they gave were if its too plenty it would be too crowded and not be able to move to find the egg,
also in most cases of polyzoospermia the sp.erm cannot penetrate the egg coz of some genetic flaws, and also that abortion thingy it causes too.
IUI is said to be the best way to overcome polyzoospermia...
What did your doctor say was the way forward?

@Udoka hws it goin with the herbal drinks hope they aren't so bitter?, did the naturopath say the infection affected the count? My hubby had high pus cells too of 5-8 and although no significant growth was recorded the doctor said deres an underlying infection. Did the naturopath recommend any antibiotics? And if yes pls what is the name? Ur sticky bean is very close dear i knw it.

@ hebrew woman tanks so much i think i understand now becoz my scan showed multiple follicles he didnt say anything about cyst but he said pcos so that got me wondering but i understand now

@ Udoka kpele dear did you take it with a meal i heard the side effets are better shielded that way and you can actually take half in the morning then half @ nyt
ur body would get used to the drug with tym
i didnt get any side side effects when i started mine though i guess diff bodies but seanbell gave nolla then some ways to overcome it.kpele dear

this is 3 days post hcg and i learnt you normally ovulate within 24-36 hours.but i was having serious cramps today so i am wondering could it be ovulation? i bd just incase o,no slacking!

@ Udoka Hebrew woman has explained it...dts why its called polycistic ovary.i do not hav heavy periods though,whenever they come they last for a long time like 1 week and some days or very short time.with endometriosis they have extremely painful periods because of the abnormal growth of the womb tissue in where its nt supposed to be but i think the period is somewhat regular compared to pcos-ers who sometimes go for months without a period,although there are also pcos-ers who have regular periods.

@ Udoka it was tru Tvs the doctor discovered plenty small follicles on each ovary so that was apparently what caused my irregular periods

@ Hebrew woman tanks so much for all the advice and encouragement I'm just so worried because i d'nt want to go throught the stress of ttc and then miscarry and then have to start trying again. I have a blood progesterone test on the 11th so i would discuss the metformin and the progesterone with my doctor!

Do and come back to your DH so u can get the bun cooking in your oven. Tanks dear uve lifted my spirits today,i pray i can conceive as easily as you do.IT IS WELL.

@ hebrew woman,so sori about your miscarriages is it the pcos that caused low progesterone,i want to know so i can ask my doctor and possibly get a prescription for progesterone immediately i get pregnant,how long were u using the metformin before you ovulated? I aslo tried using fertilaid but without metformin,took it for 3 weeks and no ovulation, i heard its also good to continue the metformin even when pregnant, its so good to talk to someone who is going through exactly what i am going through, wish u sticky bean on ur next pregnancy!

@ Hebrew woman tanks so much for the information, at my next appointment i would mention the metformin to my doctor,i don't ovulate at all and i have very irregular periods i can go for 2months without a period, the clomid actually helped me grow a nice follicle and i had my Hcg shot yesterday, is it that u were not ovulating on the clomid? Or it just didn't take? My DH was yabbing me that i have been wasting his sp.erm sinx..lol,i hav had 6 previous cycles of clomid but it was unmonitored so i dnt even knw if i was actually ovulating but not getting pregnant. Tanks dear would start my metformin immediately and i usually dnt react to drugs so hopefully i can start with a higher dose.

champs: You follicle was juicy but the Endometrial thickness was borderline,maybe it was because of the clomid you took,must RE wants to see the linning @ 8mm minimum,you could have plummed it up with Estradiol. Finger crossed everything works out for you. It is well.

@ champs yes i did it @ BRS my gynae asked me to go there,the lining was 6.3 while the size of the follile was 19.5.i used the pregnyl too buh my doc didnt say anything about metformin he said lets see how this cycle goes

@ Udoka no HCG to release the dominant follicles,so he said prior to then i should abstain,but i think i am ovulating on my own before the shot, about the vitex rily? ‎​Ɣêåh different opinions.wld check your post now.thanks for ur advice.

@ Udoka...tanks..but he said we should abstain from BD for 2days til afta d HCG so as to get a good conc spe'rm,but i tink i would BD just incase, concerning the vitex i dnt think you should take it from after ovulation coz i read it causes contraction incase ure pregnant, Ђσω far for your cycle?

Pls my sweeties i need ur help o! This is CD 11 but i am having EWCM and what i think is ovulation pain,and the doctor scheduled my TVS and HCG for CD 13, i am confused should i go for the TVS tomorrow?or ignore and go with what the doctor said.i took clomid for this cycle too...pls advice needed!

@all who wants to try fertilaid pls if you have regular period dnt take the recommended 3 times daily you could reduce it to twice, because on their website those who have regular periods complain of it delaying their periods,buh everybody's body is not the same though...

@ Soapdish...it depends on what you want to use it for,if you want it to correct your cycle you would have to give it sometym to work,they said about 3months...i used it for one month and grew impatient with it,so i induced AF. but DH uses the men's formula and it has helped him considerably.
Also someone used it on this forum and she is pregnant now.

@ Udoka....i know someone who used one of them and she got pregnant on her second month, she introduced me to her and i stopped going after sometym coz i didnt tink she was doing anything for me, i think it works better if someone has a retroverted uterus coz dey help to set the womb to the normal position and that was my friend's problem. Its worth a try.
