He na former Nigeria Goalkeeper in the late 1960's, all through the 1970's and the early 1980's.
He featured for the Mexico 1968 Olympic games, several World Cup qualifiers and four (4) editions of the Africa Cup of Nations. He also played for the former Leventis United of Ibadan and stationary stores of Lagos.
