Your capacity is almost exhausted. Selecting courses for the loan is obviously a strategy to drastically reduce the demand for the loan. You lack the boldness to disclose that you cannot afford to offer the loans to all the students who need it.

2.
Nigerian universities get accreditation for useless courses, and admit people to study those courses. So, your government wants to discriminate against the students doing those courses rather than mandate NUC to scrap those courses.

3.
Your statement is vague until you mention the courses that qualify for the loan.

You didn't mention IBB Road, calabar-Itu highway, there are few more. Even at that those roads stretch for several kilometers. Even roads in rural Akwa Ibom are in excellent condition. I spent 9 years there so I know it very well. Uyo also has very available water supply. You may not dig 6 feet and you'll find water on the ground.

The only place Enugu beats Uyo is in real estate or what you called housing.

Road transportation (keke and buses), uyo and enugu are same.
Road network they are same.
Water availability (uyo is better than enugu)
Real Estate/fine houses (enugu is better than uyo).
Tourism (uyo has bar beach). But enugu has thriving music industry.


The two are largely the same anyway in status. Enugu is very much older since 1920s during white man but akwa ibom since 1980s it was created managed to match enugu so great feat.

Port harcourt beats enugu and uyo combined into pieces.

I bought an orthopedic mattress yesterday and I slept on it last night and I've come to discover that it's too hard for me. It's not bouncy at all, and feels like I'm lying on a rock.

I'm 72kg, and in not suffering from any joint conditions.. I only bought the mattress because it was recommended by the seller as a 'good and durable mattress'

What do I do next? It's just too hard for me to endure and I don't know if it's going to get any better (or get slightly soft so that I can enjoy the mattress

Immediate past Chairman of Ogoja Council and Chairman, Ogoja Carnival, Hon Emmanuel Ishabor has described the second edition of the Ogoja Carnival with the theme "Our Shared Prosperity" as a historic milestone for Cross River North and the state.

Ishabor said the carnival which derived the inspiration from the annual Calabar Carnival in the state have set the stage for cultural renaissance in Northern Cross River and beyond.

The Carnival Chairman appreciated the visionary leadership of His Excellency, Governor Bassey Otu for introducing the carnival even as he called for collaborative efforts from the public sector to sustain the success recorded so far.

"Let’s continue to support the Governor Otu administration in this amazing initiative. I urge all sons and daughters of Cross River North and community members to sustain this. I pledge my support for its continuity and I know next year’s edition will be better than this.”

Ishabor who was visibly delighted by the captivating cultural performances at the event, commended the organizers and the various cultural troupes for exemplifying the essence of Ogoja- culture and traditions.

While expressing optimism about its sustainability, Hon Ishabor said that the Carnival would breathe new life into the rich traditions that define Cross River North and reiterated the unwavering commitment of Senator Prince Bassey Otu administration support to sustain the Carnival as an annual event.

Ishabor emphasized the need for a closer relationship with the government to address the Cross River North needs, saying that he was impressed with the way and manner Ogoja people rallied round to own the project within such a short period of its conception.

The Ogoja Carnival is the biggest festival in Cross River North. For so many in Ogoja, it's home with a glimpse of the carnival happening live with colours, good music, culture, food, dance and fashion.

That's what it's all about as all the bands converged at Ogoja Council secretariat with flamboyant colours showcasing the rich cultural heritage and prowess of Cross River North people. The beautiful costumes, music, dance brings people of all background together with so much excitement and ecstasy.

It's a celebration of pure, vivid and vibrant culture beautifully presented with glitz and glamour. It is aimed at giving the world a glimpse into the beautiful and rich cultures of the Ogoja people.

Ogoja people should extend hands of friendship to Abakaliki people in Ebonyi state. Their people are currently in Ohaukwu LGA in Effium, Okpoto and rest of the community as Ebonyians.
