"Children are the leaders of tomorow" is a dictum not applicable in nigeria. The tortuous nature of Nigerian politics and the monitization of the whole process are reasons credible individuals choose not to foray into politics. Only a fool does the same thing repeatedly and expect different result. Its time we stop sourcing for those to mount the rostrum of leadership from trash can. Honestly, we really need to device a means and stop this "Recycle-bin-syndrom" the nation is enmeshed in.

PoliticsRe: Disgraceful Conduct Of Lagos PPRO Ngozi Braide - An Open Letter To IGP MD Abubak by ebucha:
Ngozi Ngozi Ngozi, hmmmmm. I called u three times. Let me advice you. First of all, I am not a civilian. To start with I attended Army Children School, Nigerian Military School and the prestigious Defence Academy. I started this Army job since september,1992 at age 11, ie as a boy soldier. Firstly, inscribe this dictum in your mind, " Soldier go,soldier come, Barrack remain. In case you don't understand, you will someday retire from the force and become a civilian for the second time. I am from benue, where you find high number of both retired and serving uniform personels. Let me quickly remind you that while most retired soldiers(NA,NN and NAF) age gracefully and still strong to farm, most retired NPF officers spend their retirement on sick bed, leapfroging from one hospital to another.
Nenesis my dear Ngozi is real. People keep wondering why police children end up useless. The truth is that you can't mete untold hardship on innocent people, destroy innocent lives, and espect nothing in return. Maybe you should conduct a research starting from past IG's and CP's to know how their kids are faring. You are in lagos, start wit Tafa Balogun.
You have brothers, sisters, friends and relations that are not in the force, the rot in the force that you deny and defend today might catch up with them someday.
Last and most importantly pray, infact go to you village and consult oracle as well that you don't cross the path of any infantry regular.

The Europeans don't know his tribe all they know is he is a Nigerian.

I like your post. Reminds me of the former governor of Cross River state, Mr. Donald Duke, the modelling governor. He wanted to contest in the 2007 presidential election, but guess what? Our old, visionless, over-recycled politicians with no salvage value in their usual unappealing traditional attire said he was too boyish. This is a man that left an indelible imprint till date.
PoliticsRe: Rochas Okorocha Vs Goodluck Jonathan :2015 Presidential Election by ebucha:
Rochas is too unorganise. The man is a typical Nigerian politician, a glib talker with no atom of respect for rule of law, due process and standard practice. Most projects going on in the state have no design, drawing and specification. Roads under construction are so sub-standard and thus are already developing cracks, potholes and differential settlement. I like his zeal to work and his desire to have everything done instantaneously. But he has a lot to learn.

naijaking1: You two are pitifull!
What a logic in 2013.
Igbos never complained about marginalization in Chad or Tunisia, if Nigeria is the so-called one country, why do you appropriate money produced from Igboland and other southern states, and yet you hate Igbos to the extent that you'll prefer to hire "pure Egyptian muslims" to your fellow country men using funds derived from Igboland?
When Igbos wanted separation, Sarduana's followers like you two said 'no'..... and here you're expounding some illiterate logic about population, demand, and supply? You can't have it both ways.
BTW, thanks to Igbos the TIVs, Idoma, and Nupes who had suffered immeasurable at the hands of Sarduana are breathing fresh air today. It used to be that an Idoma man can't get a job in the north unles he is fluent in Hausa, a law enacted by the myopic Sarduana.
Remember when your crazy Sarduana ordered the Igbo commander at Jos(col. Anuforo) to shot protesting Tiv people at sight? The guy said no. Sarduana was a monster, and his blind supporters who don't know history are even bigger monsters.
I am glad we still have people like you. The are so angry that Benue stopped Usman (Uthman) Dan Fodio from islamitizing the entire nation. They are so scared of the growing alliance between the Idoma tribe of benue and the Igbos. They are most angered by the reality that the president of the senate and his deputy are not of Hausa-Fulani extractions. They meted untold punishment to those of us from Igbo,Tiv and Idoma extraction back then in Defence Academy. Presently, they feel the SE is in possesion of their personal patrimony, ie the position of the Army Chief. If Capt. Harley Empere(Rivers), Major Gideon Orkar(Benue), Capt. Perebo Dakolo,(Rivers) Lt. Cyril Ozoalor(SE), Lt. Nicholas Odeh(Benue) of below 35yrs of age could make their almighty gap-toothed general and then presendent dash into a rat hole, then they should know their time is up!

Man , 28, bags 21 years imprisonment for snatching motorcycle
on november 15, 2013 at 2:06 pm in news
Ibadan – An Ibadan High Court on Friday sentenced one Saheed Sogaji, 28, to 21 years imprisonment for conspiring and robbing a man of a motorcycle.
Justice Bolaji Yusuf said that the prosecutor had been able to proof the charges against the accused beyond reasonable doubt.
He sentenced Sogaji to seven years imprisonment for conspiracy and 14 years for robbery.
The judge said that the sentences were without option, adding that the sentences would commence from the day Sogaji was put in custody.
Earlier, the Prosecutor, Titilayo Dairo, told the court that Sogaji and others faced two-count charge of conspiracy and robbery.
She said that Sogaji and his colleagues now at large, conspired to rob one Kehinde Isiaka of his Bajaj motorcycle with registration number LUY 080 OA,  on March 26, 2012 at Odo-Ona Elewe in Ibadan.
The prosecutor said that the offences contravened Sections 516 and 401 of the Criminal Code Cap 38 Vol. II Laws of Oyo State of Nigeria 2000.
Sogaji had, however, pleaded not guilty to the charges.
The Defence Counsel, Mr Fola Awoyemi, prayed the court to temper justice with mercy with his client.
Awoyemi said that Sogaji, from Cotonu, had been in prison custody since March 26, 2012, adding that he had also lost his parents. (NAN) http://www.vanguardngr.com/2013/11/man-28-bags-21-years-imprisonment-snatching-motorcycle/

“David Mark is the Obama in Idomaland” – Youths kick against anti-Mark protestsBy Ameh Comrade Godwin on October 27, 2013@amcomradeTweet Pin It
A group, Vanguard of Concerned Idoma Youth, VCIY, has described Senate President, David Mark as the Obama of Idoma nation who deserves every support and prayers to actualize the creation of the long-awaited Apa State.

VCIY was reacting to a planned protest against
David Mark by some youth under the aegis of Idoma National Youth Congress, INAYC, over what they had tagged Mark’s empty leadership role in Benue State and in Idoma enclave.

DailyPost exclusively reported that the mass protest, which would go across the nine local government areas in the Benue Zone C Senatorial District, would kick off in no distant time.

However, reacting to the development, the group in a statement signed by its president, Samuel Adole and made available to DailyPost rebuked the youth for having such plan against David Mark who had remained behind the Idoma youths both at home and in the Diaspora.

According to Adole, Mark remains the only leader who would actualize the creation of Apa State.

The statement reads in part, “Our attention has been drawn to a story currently trending online where a ghost youth group, under the auspices of Idoma National Youth Congress, INAYC, are planning to stage a protest against Senate President and the Okpokpowulu of Idomaland, David Mark. We, the Idoma youth want to state clearly here that the said group is not known and recognized in the Idoma kingdom.

“Chief Mark remains the only person who will bring home the long-awaited Apa State and no one else. He’s the Obama of Idoma land. The man who has used his hard-earned resources to better the lives of youth from the community,” he stressed.

Speaking further, Adole called on all Idoma youth never to be part of such ”devilish protest championed by Mark’s opposition.”

“We, the Idoma youth are proud of him (Chief Mark) and would continue to support him until he gets us our Apa State,” he added.

The group also debunked the claim that there is an ongoing negotiations and plans by David Mark to make his son, Tunde Mark a lawmaker in 2015. http://dailypost.com.ng/2013/10/27/david-mark-is-the-obama-in-idomaland-youths-kick-against-anti-mark-protests/?utm_source=&utm_medium=facebook&utm_campaign=david-mark-is-the-obama-in-idomaland-youths-kick-against-anti-mark-protests
