Kobojunkie:This study is riddled with numerous inconsistencies and, forgive me, untruths. When did we start noticing autism, schizophrenia, and congenital conditions in new borns? This was fairly recent, in the 70s, if you research well. While I agree that the quantity of sperm decreases with age in men, i am yet to believe that it affects the quality. Casually, I have seen men in their eighties fathering healthy kids; come to the North, you will see lots of these examples. where under age marriage of the female child is practiced. What this study has done is placing the burden of birth defects and congenital conditions on newborns on the men. Is this true? While I do not have the study research to back up my claims. We have seen real-life scenarios around us where older men, married to younger ladies birth healthy kids, and I have also seen scenarios where older men , with matured ladies, birth healthy kids in some cases and kids with congenital defects like Down syndrome, kids in various spectrum of autism. in other cases (older ladies and older males). Looking closely, while I will not completely state that all older men with younger women marriages always birth healthy kids, the percentage of healthy kids in these relationships are always high, most cases 80% and above for healthy kids birth. But the union between older men and older ladies also birth healthy kids as against kids with congenital defects in the ration 60:40, i.e 60%, so looking at it, the probability of birthing kids with birth defects and congenital conditions among mature and older ladies rises as their age increases. This study is just trying to flip the result we already know, we know who is funding this research............. same people sponsoring GMO seeds, LGBT .......... you know the rest. |
Rilwayne001:That is not how you look at it, check the capital appreciation, how much per share did you get it, what is the value now, the difference is your capital. The dividend is added bonus. Look at capital appreciation chief. |
hontimmy:Chief hold on to it, if you can get more, after the new recapitalization, that bank is heading to N200 post recapitalization. Looking at getting more, buy UCAP, also looking at banking stocks, look at Fidelity bank, Access and Jaiz bank and UBA, UBA is seriously undervalued, buy as much as you can of it now. Looking at Insurance stocks, AIICO is a good one, pack as much as you can. |
Omooba77:May God heal him and grant him quick recovery. To be honest, he has been good with the Ministry, proof of his work can be seen at the exchange rate with the USD. |
Odewaleadesoye:Ok oh, this is just not right and feasible. The Anglican Communion is trying to compete with the Pentecostal churches on expansion, forgetting the time we live in. Let us face it, among the existing Dioceses currently running, how many amongst them are self-sustaining, outside the mother Dioceses? Come to Rivers State, using Oyigbo LGA as a case study. We have up to four different Dioceses there, listed as follows: Evo Diocese, Ukwa Diocese, Etche Diocese, and a part of the Niger-Delta Diocese (Iriebe areas, with boundaries that include Umuebule IV). A surprising trend is that all these Dioceses are outcompeting themselves at Church Planting. Some churches are in rented homes / shops! My own Anglican Church, in a rented hall!!. Now what you will notice is that there are lots of fundraising, and fund appeals by these small churches to their members and then, these churches are being given unrealistic "Quota" amounts to be paid to their head Dioceses. The result is that you will see real Anglicans leaving the church for other Pentecostal Churches due to the incessant fundraising and fund appeals in the church. It is a pity that the Anglican Church I grew up in has now changed drastically. Quantity has been prioritised over quality, and it is so sad. In my town, with 12 villages in Anambra state, it is just 4 years ago that another Anglican church was planted in my town making it just 2 Anglican churches in a town of almost 200,000 inhabitants, (before this, we just have 1 Anglican church), which has a functioning and running School, which is cool, but where I currently live, We have the presence of 4 Dioceses with more than 10 different Anglican churches across 4 Dioceses, and population is less than my town of origin. Now what do we see? Reverends whose salaries are not paid on time and poorly renumerated, uninhabitable buildings for churches and scanty membership across all the churches. Growing up, Churches were grand edifices with stained colored window glasses, huge expanse of land with an attached space for cemetery. I guess it is the time we find ourselves now, I might just be old school, but the more Dioceses been created especially in areas already saturated will not help the growth of the Anglican church, many of these churches cannot sustain theirselves, (Recall my village church has a full fledge school from Nursery to Secondary school with full population) many members are leaving the church to churches where they are not been tasked always to raise funds for the church. I wish the Primate Head of the Anglican Communion will look into this. |
Rapmoney:Me that went out and smuggled in a tout into our home to help me finish the game , following all stage from 1 to 8. Thank God I was able to finish it with the guys help. Old days, recently got a handheld for my son , where I downloaded the game into it |
Congratulations to her, so proud of her. This goes to show that we have brains across the length and breadth of this country. Exposure matters. She has really made the family, Yobe state and Nigeria in general Infoguy666: |
Congratulations to Ifonlaja, wishing further success in his career, for now in the legal cycle in Nigeria, in terms of academic performance, he is the GOAT!!!! Congrats once again to Ifonlaja |
Kobojunkie:Can you show us proof? Atleast, looking at animals, parenting is the responsibility of the female gender, where it occurs or not at all. So let's hear your proof |
Rhymesy:Congratulations brother. this is just the beginning and better things are in the offing. I also remember taking up teaching in PH immediately after my service years, I remember those days with Joy. However, I am not where I started; I have made subtle progress, and things are always looking better. It takes courage and resilience to start small, some of your former coursemates might smirk at you for taking the meagre offer, but know that you are on the right track. To the Glory of God, I met my wife in the same school I started teaching, she was also fellow teacher in the school, while there she was there for me spiritually in prayers and when I got my break, it was her I chose. Final advice, keep up the grind, do not relent and rest on your oars. Keep bombing your CV, keep the application process, subscribe to hotnigerian job search and myjob mag job search. I pray and wish you nothing but the best, but remain focused. I can help you with some soft copies of aptitude job tests if you are interested. God bless you. |

Your 20k fuel is about 20 litres, so check it out. With this 20 litres, you can do a range of 250km, using 8Lt/100 or, worst-case scenario, a combination of the two. If you are doing an average of 31km per Trip and do 8 trips, that is what your 20 litres can give. In summary, the car is doing its rated consumption. The culprit here is inflation. Last year, that same N20,000 would have bought you 100 Liters (@ 200 per liter). The Economy is not smiling; our money has lost all value. |
My heartfelt condolence to the family, only God understands the pain and deep sense of loss the family is passing through. My people, what is that goal you aim to achieve that seems elusive to you, just might be God trying to keep you alive. Imagine getting to the summit of his career and losing his life there, wouldn't it be better if he was still in service but not at the top? Now you see the reasons why most officers appointed to the summit of their careers in the armed forces go on a purging spree, retiring all seniors above them and coursemates from service so they remain the most senior. Lagbaja, with a warm and big heart, did not tow that path. He preferred working with his coursemates and kept them in service. Now, how did it play out? I am not insinuating any foul play but know that envy amongst coursemates is bound to be present within his team, more especially from coursemates who feel entitled to have the coveted seat. The 48 Laws of power were not followed here. The family would have preferred to have their dad, husband, uncle and cousin alive, even if he did not make the top than making the top and bowing out this way. Lagbaja was a fine officer, full of health and I must confess, the most fit service chief in a long while. May God give the family the grace to bear the loss. |
idealogical:Give it to my Western brothers. They are the gurus of the finance community, and I am not surprised. Congratulations to the new partners. It is a well-deserved appointment. |

Caaz:This is good to see, you are really doing a great job of parenting. At this rate, she will be completely confident making soups before she turns 12. Keep it up, I also have an 8 years old daughter who is also enthusiastic about cooking, but we are yet to let her go at it, with this , I will be giving her her first chance at this. May God bless your family |
Exousiang01:You are right bro, cloud seeding gone wrong. |
CaveAdullam:Good video quality, nice presentation and carriage however I find the plot of the movie to be a joke. In the Igbo Apprentice System, it is rare or unheard of to have a junior Apprenticeship been settled before a senior one. The rule has always been FIFO first in first out , so I really do not understand the plot the movie was trying to show. In most cases where the FIFO is not followed, it is either the senior apprentice is sent parking, either through a misdemeanours like theft, grave offense like impregnating a female while still in the system. In Summary, just like the military, the system has steps, from the rookie to the manager. The manager position is the final class of the Apprenticeship system, here the apprentice has unlimited power and only 2nd to the boss or business owner. So that part is still what I'm yet to come to terms with. However a good movie if you will forgive that plot. Next is the issue of paternity fraud, this movie to a high extent shows that graduates of that school of business are basically 99% Simps! Easily easily blackmailed or deceived by the females. The reason is not far fetched as all students of this business model gives less than 3% of their time to socialising, you know meeting the opposite sex. The only time they get to do these are on Sunday, when they arr allowed to go to church services and when carrying out domestics chores on Sunday, otherwise, it is all about the business, aloy depends on them successfully completing the internship. Sadly, i lost my only brother to this system. Elder bros refused finishing up his term on his final year, a seven year business internship, decided going solo in the business, lagos island, isale eko in lagos, in the electrical wirings sessions. Bros stated with Oso ahia and was making it in the line till words came around that his ex boss wants him out of the line. In summary , bro died , vomiting blood after attending a party.... the year was 2005. Keep resting in Peace Uchenna. |
weblord1900:God bless you, brother, the system is never perfect, it is a learning school for a reason. However My prayer for you today is that you will excel in your line of business, and become even greater than your boss. It is good you persevere and complete the time. Now here is my advice, kindly take the whole capital you have been settled with to your local church and have your pastor pray with you. Still, maintain a very respective cordial relationship with your boss and his wife - Start small, you know the terrain better, lookup options of sharing a shop with anyone offering or even a "canter" in your line of business in the market. - If you can now, avoid billings from home, you are just starting up and I trust your mum understands this too, however, know when to come in. - This is the season where you will have to work off your ass, at this stage now, almost 80% of the revenue you will generate will be from referral sales "Oso Ahia", and having built that great relationship with your boss, his shop and that of his friends in the line will be open to you. - Make sure you are honest in your dealings, if this is found, many big chaps in the lines will open up credit sales to you (Big importers in the lines giving you discounted goods on credit....... these credit goods levels will be increased as turn over increases and with time, you can start by "group pages" Hope I get it right. - By all accounts, avoid women for now, they are never a priority, and for accommodation, you can share accommodation for now. - By all means, please avoid sports bettings!!!! it has ended so many starts up. - Leverage ICT, WhatsApp, and your social media pages to advertise your business. - Get to Know God now and rely on him - Finally, put into practice all the lessons you have learned from your boss, even those suggestions you gave he never tried, as the saying goes, it is starting a draft work that is difficult, but once the draft has been done, the rest of the work is easy, you already have your draft work, now improve on it. Finally, share your line of business, this is a big community, and you never can tell where the big break will come from . The system is not perfect, I lost my only brother to it in 2004, Uche may your soul continue to rest in Peace still kept thinking why the business route? when you had the option of furthering your education, even when you made fantastic results in your O'level, but it was not to be, as the allure of the big boys in business during the Christmas Village holiday overcame you. |
Validated:Please let us be careful with how we consume information on the social media space. IDF has denied the allegation of the killing of infants in Israel. I do not support any side and only support peace for both sides. |
Na so bros, na 2005 I join nairaland, that time na cybercafe stuff. We thank God for the journey so far. I write my SSCE for 2002. The embarrassment alone no let me search for her, I just lock up that area for good. AgentGoat: |
This is way too funny, the year was 2001, I was in SS2 while she was also in SS2, living with my Aunt in the village, attending the local community secondary, while she was a boarder in Anglican Girls Nnewi. Our communication then was through NIPOST. We exchanged lots of letters via the post office till when we decided to take a step further. On a very good day, she wrote and informed me she would be visiting me, local man began to sweat, then I was also a virgin, I never spoil and was among the best students in my class then. I confided in my best friend Chibuzor on whatsup, that my babe wants to visit, he was aware of her . Chibuzor after thorough thinking advised me to let her come between 10am to 1PM on a particular date, as my Aunt been a teacher in one of the government primary schools in my town would be in school. I communicated back, sharing my home address with her, and told her she fit show on our cleared date. Na so my babe come oh, meanwhile, I came back early from school, when all, including my aunt, has left for work. My lucky day, I went with my guy, Chibuzor to our main road to receive her, see butterflies doing acrobats in my tummy, Wow, only seen her once on a crusade ground in her village, Awka Etiti. when St. Barth. Anglican Church came for a crusade, there we met and exchanged school postal addresses. With my little savings, I bought some biscuits, short cake biscuit by Nasco, not short bread oh as I could not afford it, then I bought a bottle of fanta and coke, so she gets to make her choice and I take the left over. On arrival, Innocent me, I did not take her to my room, rather I took her to the living room, less I forget, I don discharge Chibuzor after we reach house. We were in the living room and I offered her my little refreshment, she took fanta, while i sipped my coke . We were discussing about Physics, Chemistry, how many topics she has covered, most difficult topics, and the like when our main entrance gate made a noise, the gate usually makes noise when someone is using it, Swallowing hard, I went and peeped over the window!! low and behold, it was my Aunt, you suppose understand those Aunts that teaches primary six in government primary school, she was a no-nonsense lady, very strict. I evaluated my situation, we were not in any compromising position, me stuttering, informed my girl that my Aunt was back, she had nothing to fear, I would introduce her, she was scared, but so was I. However I tried calming her down. Local man was in a fixed , however, I await my fate. Meanwhile, my aunt arrived before their normal closing hours, as she normally closes from school around 1:30 pm, but it was just after 11 am, I know someone must have snitched on me, but then, we were not doing anything bad, that was my thought, so it was going to be easy. She quietly came in and entered the living room, I came out and greeted her, she asked why I was not in school, I stuttered to answer that I had a guest, she now asked me who was the guest? I answered my friend. She asked again, what type of friend? while walking into the parlor. When she entered, I blurted out... she is my Girlfriend, told her her name, her surname, her village and her school, her class, her last position in class, and many more things I cannot recall now. Next I saw was broom landing on my girlfriend and me, men!!!! local man is finished!!!! I never knew how she made it out of our compound. That was the end!!!! I could not write back to apologize and soon we wrote our SSCE exams, contacts were lost. In retrospect, I smile now and have played out many scenarios I would use that would have saved me that embarrassment, but then it happened. |
Celepope:My brother, there mustn't be a reason to make a man take that decision, let face it, prior to the feminization movement, that has always been the default thinking settings of all men. Some old school like me still have that mindset. See to me, all my properties will be in my name, and my kid's name will never be on my will, because my wife name will be the one there, to over see it. This is taking the general assumption that I will go first. I trust her with all my heart to equitably share our properties well among the kids. To start it now, the kids, they all know that they are entitled to nothing from us, except quality education and training. So while my wife's name is not on any of the properties I buy, she has all the original title documents and knows all locations of these properties. That her name is not on any of the titles do not show I don't trust her, it is just the way I believe it should be. |

Dear Madam, Put your heart at rest, and from what someone here has mentioned, you have been advised from the wrong perspective. Some men are still old school. They do things the old way, sadly, I belong to this class of men. That he did not include your name in the document does not change anything, his loyalty remains to you and his kids, in summary, his family. You are his legal wife with three sons for him for God's sake!! When I also bought my first property, it was just my name on it, wify started giving attitude and the likes, I ignore her, then later I cleared her that all I have are hers and in the event of my demise (whenever God calls) she remains the sole next of kin and stands to gain every property we have and not even the kids, to be honest, I trust her to equally distribute what we have gained equitably among the kids and to be honest, all my document and official document carries her name as my next of kin. And to be open to her, there is no property of ours that she does not know about. All our property documents and certificates are in her custody, she knows all the locations of our assets and has all the deeds and documentation, so why bother over the document title? Come to think of it, we are married, both at the registry. Madam, calm down, never make your man start having doubts over your trust, for once you sow this seed, it is like that stubborn weed that is difficult to eradicate........... symptoms of this seed is when he starts hiding his winnings and accomplishment from you. be wise. |
AlphaAlex:Chief please can you share with me |
Lukuluku69:Good because growing up in the village, I had had occasions I drew up dead wall geckos from our well which we drink and use in cooking. What I do is just discard the water and dead geckos, lower my bucket and continue fetching my water from same source |
Lukuluku69:......... but they are not poisonous, If I get you right, so with all the works from researchers , you still believe they are poisonous? |
drmuchin:Exactly, it is not every vehicle that is donated to the security Arms of government that must be accepted. Take a look at this, soldiers in a Toyota Siena are just seating ducks waiting to be picked , the vehicle has no space for maximum maneuverability of the soldiers when under fire when compared with pickups. Trucks like the pickup should be standard issues when it comes to operational vehicles for soldiers. May the souls of the deceaed soldiers rest in peace. These guys are someone's dad, brother, husbands and kids. Peace to Anambra state |
