Car TalkRe: Top 10 Best Heavy Duty Truck Manufacturers. (photos) by ebuka1511(m): 4:52pm On Aug 13, 2018
Yea the most popular, but not so good on their brake technology. Mack, the Vision, R and CH Models all have bad braking system, dunno if its been rectified in the latest models. The truck is a beast!!!! very strong, but then another good one is the Iveco Trucks, I love the Genlyon Model and have been opportuned to manage it, very smooth and have nice fuel economy, the downside is that its mostly electricals and the parts are too expensive, the Injector system of an Iveco Genlyon truck would conveniently get a brand new Hyundai elentra!!! but they ae also beast!!!
Racoon:
Mack Trucks remain the toughest on Nigerian roads.Sadly Nigeria does not produce any. undecided undecided
CareerRe: How To Pass Personality Tests by ebuka1511(m): 12:34pm On Jun 25, 2018
This is cool, I like the writes up. that was how I have never passed the personality test of BAT test. On two occasions i have written their personality tests and have received regret mails twice. Thank God i never made it, as am in a better place now. But would be nice to know the nitty gritty of writing that test. I plan applying again, when opening that am qualified for opens again, if not for anything atleast just to pass the test.

LiteratureRe: 14 Quotes From 'Things Fall Apart' By Chinua Achebe by ebuka1511(m): 6:34am On Mar 12, 2018
Chikita66:
The novel is overhyped.
If this novel is overhyped, I imagine what your taste for literature will look like. To me Achebe's "things fall Apart" and John Munonye's " the only son" remains my favorite. With these works, you don't need to read any manual again about the Igbo traditional society and clan culture. They are just epic.
Car TalkRe: 4 Misconceptions About Your Car Brakes, Pads And Fluid by ebuka1511(m): 11:45am On Feb 15, 2018
Nice writes up OP, but i would want to disagree on number one where you stated that;
(It’s advisable you have your brakes checked every 6,000-7,000 miles to help you avoid the danger and expense of damaged brake discs.)

This thinking and thought in fleet management needs to change. Aging in brake pads of vehicles varies, this is as a result of use, the road condition, the weight of the vehicle, the traffic situation and many more other factors. The best practice on brake pad to me, still remains Bi Monthly Physical checks of your brake pads. Nothing beats it. When you get to physically have your brakes checked in a workshop twice a month, there is no how you will not know when the brake is due to be changed assuming all other factors like brake fluid leakages and others are fine.

I have managed Soft Vehicle and AVs and have come to understand that using the traditional Mileage method exposes you risking your brake discs. I have changed a brake pads from a vehicle that just covered less than 2000km , Had i Left it to cover the traditional 5000km, imagine what will happen to the Disc and also the safety part of it.

To me, the best Practice is always conducting a weekly vehicle checks that incorporates the wheels, Oil Check, Filter Checks and other fluid level check.
Nice writes up OP, keep it coming.

Will you guys stop this childish rant? If TSTV got the rights from the content owners, there is no way those people will come back and remove the rights. It will be breach of contract! You think you can just cancel international agreements just like that? Why cant TSTV show us any of those agreements they signed? Haba, lets reason a little like enlightened people and stop all these sentimental bull crap.
Oga you are taking this personal, but i still insist and stands to be corrected that when you glorify at others misfortune, you can never grow. That you can afford the major competitors services shouldn't stop me from enjoying another competitor's services that still offer same content at a cheaper price. Your own don pass bad belle, you are like a dog in a manger, eat straw (horse talking to the dog), No, am a carnivore, so I don't straw!!!!(Dog replying)
Ok as am a Herbivore, let me eat the straw (the horse now replying the dog). Noooo!!!!!! no one eats if am not eating (the dog replying the horse)
My brother, if God have blessed you, Thank God, maintain your classy and premium lifestyle, but never stop the up coming ones from enjoying their fun with the little their money can afford.
Cheers

After reading your writes up, I am not surprised, we all part of the "bring him down'' syndrome, we don't encourage ourselves. Lots of starts up have come and gone because we do not have the will power to support our own. For once can't we have a thing we can call ours? Ethiopia have their airline and coffee going for them, they even boast of their own telecom company, though its state controlled, Kenya have their Parks and Tourism. But we here, we always have this penchant of going for foreign goods at the expense of our product, how do we grow? I honestly pray that TSTV bounces back, have heard of tales of how the major competitor went about going to companies that gave TSTV content right to broadcast their channel 5Million dollars to cancel their agreement. and we are so gullible, happy that TSTV is going down, will not live up to its promises, but note this, if our mindset is always this way, we will never grow individually and as a nation. When you glorify at others down fall, you can never grow. For me, nothing makes the world interesting as having choices to make from. its like the Telecom industry, i can bet you no sane individual have just a sim to one network only. we all have various sims, and we can all give plausible explanation for it, for me, Glo for data, as Glo is the best in data in my area, MTN my major personal line for calls and Airtel for my official line.
In summary, lets try and support our own, encourage ourselves and we will all grow. That you can afford to pay 14k to watch your premium content provided by one competitor should not stop Mr. B to enjoy same content provided by another competitor at a cheaper price. live and lets live.
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Top 5 States In Nigeria With High Employment Opportunity - Careerportal.ng by ebuka1511(m): 8:53am On Oct 10, 2017
It might sound off to you, but that is the truth, infact, it should be No. 2 on the list. the state currently have more than 30 international NGOs. When i was job searching and was in PH searching, nothing, I mean nothing came out, then most Oil firms were all down sizing, this was late 2016, it was only when i learnt that as a job seeker, you have to be mobile and chase the openings where ever they are situated. Hot.nigerian.jobs.com then made it easy, together with other job search engine , I discovered that almost 80% of all openings were in the North East, Borno mainly. I changed my view by applying to those openings and guess what? One of the INGOs, shortlisted me, Scheduled me for an online test, after the test, skype interview was conducted, and Oluwa been by me, I was given an offer x3 what is obtainable in PH.
All these happened in a day, I mean the Test, Skype interview and Offer. I was then asked when to resume which I gave them, to my surprise, they reserved a flight ticket for me on that day, that saw me to the Land of the Shehus, on Arrival, had a warm reception as I was picked from the airport, taken straight to a 5 Star Hotel, and asked to resume next day. On my arrival, I was told i will be staying in the Hotel for a month, but if i can get an accommodation within the month, I will be paid in cash, balance of the days I did not stay in the hotel.
As s sharp guy, Got my accommodation within 2 weeks, and the cash was more than enough to pay for my rent and also furnish it. For all searching, please beam your searchlight here in Borno, to give you a rough picture, cleaners where i work earn around 80k per month, drivers earn 150k and these are jobs that the minimum qualification is FSLC. If your opportuned to work with any of the UN agencies scattered across the state, you are made, for example, In the UN, A driver earns a minimum of 257k excluding over time allowances of 90k per month and DSAs for missions. Please give it a trial, the lowest level in INGOs which is Assistance earns a minimum of 150k as basic salary . Yes there are incidences of Bombings, but follow all security briefings and you will be fine. Oxfamnovib Nigeria, Thanks for the opportunity.

Putting Borno ahead of Rivers State is an insult to the latter. The number of companies in Trans-Amadi alone far outnumber those in the whole of Borno State.
Christianity EtcRe: UN: Taking Children To Church Violates Their Human Rights by ebuka1511(m): 2:01pm On Jul 10, 2016
the true fact whether we like it or not is the the world is coming to an end, and the whole world is gradually turning to a one government society, and the UN is a body towards the achievement of the one world government, the aim is to catch them young, indoctrinate the young ones that there is no God, soon all EU member countries will adopt this report, forget that this write up has no source. the reason I'm so happy for BREXIT, its draws back the time of the one world government project.
is it a coincidence that all acts previously condemned are not be accepted now in most society?
Look at American today, what do we see, the government of the Day fighting tooth and nail to ensure the freedom to own gun is abolished by the state. All the recent happenings in the USA are all part of the plan against the campaign for
Gun control, starting from 9/11, to the Orlando gay club shootings to the recent police shootings currently happening in the USA.
The true and naked truth is that the UN is an agent to be used for the NEW ORDER.

Hmm me like this development, there is what is called propaganda office in every intelligence agencies of the world. This is good job, I like it. For those that are specialist in intelligence studies, we all know where this is coming from. It's a good job, and like the COAS said, we should all be security conscious and vigilant of our environment. God bless our security forces

FamilyRe: Pregnant Woman Blasted For 'bleaching' Her Baby Bump [PICS] by ebuka1511(m): 9:55pm On Feb 29, 2016
It's very normal for some pregnant women, my take is that this is not her first child, the color difference on the tommy is as a result of the hot water applied on the tommy on the previous child birth. Speaking from experience as it happened to my baby, she's fair, after the post natal hot water massage, the tommy turned dark, so u see its possible providing this is not her first baby.
CultureRe: Osi Opa Festival (Cane Festival), Where The King Canes The Subjects by ebuka1511(m): 7:37pm On Feb 08, 2016
The festival or custom is not new, we in Anambra have a similar culture like that, I'm from Idemili south LGA, we call it "AFIA OLU" . And it precedes the new yam festival celebration. In our tradition, the king and his chiefs are merely spectators while the male youths are the main participants, in this festival, lots of masquerades make appearances here, proud to say I also participated in this festival, u know take show say u fit chop pain! But surprise to know some part of the west also have this tradition.
