The United Nations will live in infamy for lending its megaphone on Tuesday, September 19, 2017, to Nigeria’s elected military dictator Muhammadu Buhari.

The Hausa-Fulani Muslim strongman is currently orchestrating genocide as defined by the Genocide Convention against Nigeria’s 50 million Igbo people because of their ethnicity and unwavering devotion to Christianity. A courageous and influential Biafran leader, Nnamdi Kanu, has had his home attacked and quarantined by Nigeria’s armed forces and his followers killed. Grisly videos and photos taken at scenes of the harrowing crimes are conclusive. What they prove amounts to state terrorism—the systematic employment of violence to intimidate or coerce a civilian population.

Instead of providing Buhari a megaphone, the United Nations should be expelling Nigeria from membership under Article 6 of the United Nations Charter. The United Nations Security Council (UNSC) should be referring the dictator and his henchmen like Army Chief of Staff Lt. General Tukur Yusuf Buratai to the Chief Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court, Fatou Bensouda, to investigate for complicity in genocide. The UNSC should also be imposing an arms embargo on Nigeria under Chapter VII of the United Nations Charter until the right of the Biafran people to self-determination is secured through a free and fair referendum conducted by the United Nations Electoral Unit. At present, dictator Buhari is diverting arms purchased for ostensible use against Boko Haram, an international terrorist organization, to the terrorizing of Biafran Christians. Buhari has no interest in defeating Boko Haram because its threat triggers military and financial assistance from the United States in its global war on terrorists

The FRC law was passed by GEJ in 2011 after the NASS made the law but that version of the law had no connection to Churches. No connection at all. The law was recently amended by the Buhari administraion and passed on the 16 of October 2016.

It is this version of the law that brought in the clause that sought to subjugate Churches. If you listen to Pastor Adeboye's statement when he announced the new GO, he made that pretty clear. He said clearly how they have started to interfere in Church activities. He never ever made that complaint anytime during GEJ's tenure.

I have also seen some people saying that the law was right and in tandem with what obtains all around the world. There is no bigger lie than that. Joel Osteen took over his father's ministry. Franklin Graham, son of Billy Graham, took over his father's ministry. Kenneth Copeland's children are already co-running his ministry even to the second generation. The list goes on and on. These are American preachers. The country whose democracy you follow. Same obtains in Europe. The only places you see such restrictions on ministries are in Islamic countries or communist countries.

The point here is that you cannot intefere with people's personal ministries. If as a government, you believe there is any financial impropriety in any ministry, there are proper laws and channels for handling that. But what just happened was a step into the Christian community to see how they can weaken the community and disorganise it in preparations for future elections.

So this was not about Obazee and Pastor Adeboye made that clear in his statement. He said and I quote

"Some people believe that RCCG is becoming too influential and we’re going to be more influential. When you get home, tell members to join a political party. Just join any party. We shall decide issues right from the ward level. If you are not active at ward level, you’ll do what they plan and say at the top. Enroll in any party of your choice and have a card. When holding meetings at ward level to choose delegates, be there."

One Muslim in Ibadan said years ago that he didn’t know what’s wrong with Christians; that we help them to occupy political positions and refused to capitalize on our population. That’s going to change from now" the man of God said. The government has been showing increasing interest in church affairs"

If Pastor Adeboye thought for one moment that it was the handywork of one man, one insignificant unknown man called Jim Obazee, he would have simply called any of the big RCCG people in the corridors of government to sort him out. Dont forget the VP is an RCCG pastor. But this was not a one man affair. It was a plan by the powers that be. A plan which came just after Pastor Adeboye was verbally attacked and insulted by the APC, officially, for his statement to Gov Ayo Fayose.

And most importantly, some of us who shouted ourselves hoax did not shout because of Pastor Adeboye. No NO NO! We shouted because the laws didnt just affect Pastor Adeboye, it affected every Pastor and every ministry in Nigeria no matter how big or small. That law would have crippled Christian and ministry activities in the future and there was no telling where it would have led.

We must continue to stay on our guard. Dont be carried away by the sacking and "suspension" of the law by the President. A law cannot be suspended after it has been passed by the house. It has to be reviewed and changed or expunged, not suspended, (Whatever that means).

Coach of the Super Eagles of Nigeria Gernot Rohr has given up on trying to convince former goalkepper Vincent Enyeama to come out of retirement and play for Nigeria.

Rohr ruled out any future contact with the Lille man after revealing that the 33 year old appears to have made up his mind to stick to his international retirement.

The Franco German coach said he tried reaching out at Enyeama when they had a goalkepper crisis before the game against Algeria, but Enyeama failed to take his calls and didn’t return them later.

” When we had crisis in our hands after Carl Ikeme’s injury, I called him (Enyeama) over 10 times and he never responded nor called back”, Rohr said to Owngoalnigeria.com.

Captain of the senior national team of Nigeria John Obi Mikel has agreed a four year deal with Spanish side Valencia, Owngoalnigeria.com understands.

Valencia beat a host of teams to his signature which includes big spending Chinese side Shanghai SIPG, French side Olympique Marseille and Serie A duo AC and Inter Milan.

Talks were held in England between representatives of the La-Liga side and the 29 year old, and a deal was reached for him to be their first signing of the January transfer window.

He will join Valencia on a free transfer after Chelsea decided to let the midfielder who has spent 11 seasons at the club leave for no fee, despite having six months left on his current deal.

Reports reaching Owngoalnigeria.com has it that Nigeria youth international Douglas Uzama has been killed by suspected cultist in Benin City, Edo State Nigeria.

Uzama was a part of the all conquering Nigeria U-17 team of 2015 and also played for the U-20 team during their ill fated attempt to qualify for next year Africa Youth Championship.

Last season he represented newly promoted Nigeria Premier League side Gombe United, where he was part of the defence line that helped the team gain promotion.

He was reportedly shot by the clutist in same South South region of Nigeria, where another professional footballer Izu Joseph was shot and killed in a cultist den according to a statement from the military.

Iheanacho was part of the maiden U13, U15 national teams and people have been following his progress since then. Do you know that Iheanacho increased in height as measured by FIFA in 2013 and ashe currently measures (you can confirm this from FIFA.com and Wikipedia) which man in his mid twenties can attain such growth and at that rate?
