FC Porto Nigerian forward Musa Yahaya has reacted angrily to reports that he got married to popular Kannywood Star Rahama Sadau yesterday in Kaduna. It was reported that he got married to the Kannywood star yesterday, but our checks at the ceremony and a phone call from the player himself dispel the report. The 19 year old called Owngoalnigeria.com editor to clear the air on the woman he got married to, and subsequently apologised to Rahama Sadau over the mix up. ” I got married to Saadatu Ismail Yahaya, not to Rahama Sadau, my wife is not into movies. It’s not fair on Rahama neither is it on my wife as well. Please people should confirm properly before going to press”, Yahaya angrily told Owngoalnigeria.com. ” Rahama has been through a lot lately, and the last thing she deserves is this latest twist. I am on behalf of those who made the error sending my apologies to her. This mix up isn’t from my ends." http://owngoalnigeria.com/2016/12/25/angry-musa-yahaya-denies-marriage-to-movie-star-rahama-my-wife-is-not-into-movies/

At least ten players of the Nigeria U-20 team that failed to qualify for next year Africa Youth Championship have cried out to Owngoalnigeria.com over unpaid bonuses due to them. The team made which consists mostly of players from the victorious U-17 team of 2015, were stopped in their tracks by Sudan on a 4-3 aggregate score after losing 3-2 at home in the final leg of qualifiers. However players of the team informed Owngoalnigeria.com that they were promised they would be paid their entitlements after the game against Sudan, but since their ouster they have not been contacted. ” We had a meeting with members of the NFF, a day to our final qualifiers against Sudan, only after we threatened not to honour the game. At the meeting we were told all our match and camping allowances will be settled after the game. ” After the game, which we lost, there have been no communication from the NFF, even though we believe they have received the money from the ministry of sports. ” The case of the Falcons is just like ours, we were not paid camp allowance, we didn’t get travelling allowance, for the three games we picked up points, we didn’t get a bonus, how is our case different”? asked a player of the team in a message sent to Owngoalnigeria.com http://owngoalnigeria.com/2016/12/19/flying-eagles-players-cry-out-nff-have-forgotten-about-us-we-are-also-owed-bonuses/

Padipadi:Which African culture is that? When the Europeans and Arabians came to Africa, especially Subsaharan Africa, they met us NAKED or almost NAKED. It is these Europeans that started covering us up small small. In South Africa, we have the traditional Reed Dancing ceremony the virgin girls are made to expose their breast. In Nigeria here we have seen similar practices in Benin and Rivers in recent times. Don't bring African Culture into things like this... |

Adek15:Nope. Not at all. Don't get me wrong. Adherence to the teachings of the Quran and to the words of PM (S.A.W) is not fundamentalism or extremism. I am just using that point to correct the stereotype on Buhari alone. Sorry if you were offended |
For those who think Buhari is a Islamic Fundamentalist, religious fanatic or a misogynist like you have redesigned him as in your hearts. This is another evidence, and if you think it is because of modernisation or Zahra's sheer will or something. See this family photo of Buhari and his first wife, see her uncovered hair and the low V neck dress? This is how many years ago?

I will always have problem with this type of 'Testimonies' of narrow escape and bringing God into the matter. Are you saying you were saved by not going to 'God's house'? It is like that story of the Brazilian player that escaped the plane crash because he was reading his Bible, I have avoided that topic tire. But those Facebook people can shove Anything in your face. What am I typing sef? Mtcheeeeeeeww... Good night everyone... |
When people praise Fayose and Wike as the future of PDP or the ONLY opposition to this government. I LOL. Is it not the same people that went to Borno with their two left legs and BEGGED this same Sherrif that was Chilling in his mansion to come and RESCUE their dying party and become their chairman? Do note that PDP was suffering from financial crises at that time and they knew that Modu had the money to spend yanfu yanfu... Anyways, shii hits the fan now and some short-sighted PDP Yoots still call this man an APC/Buhari implant. Laughable... |
Johnnyessence:This one na WHITEWASH oh

Magnus Abe winning Rivers' southeast senatorial district is an obvious result that Wike & his goons should have allowed a year & half ago without bloodshed. Sad! |
IPOB Youths really make me sick. The things they say, the things they believe, the lies they tell others and themselves, the hate in their heart and the complete ignorance that they exhibit really makes me sick. I 'tire for dia matter', seriously. Watch how more of them will come here and insult their forefathers... |
Do you also know that this damsel is engaged to be married to Former U-20 player and FC Porto winger Musa Yahaya? |

To: This is the most used word since Buhari came to power. FG set to do this. FG set to do that... In other news; I just went into the other room... |
Mujaheeeden:It was a quip. Evidence is he laughed before and after making the statement and added spiced up the statement with the phrase #TheOtherRoom. The comments which are actually sexist in nature do not reflect the way he has treated women all his life and how he even treats his current wife who possess more academic qualifications than him and who he encouraged to get these qualifications. The way and manner he has allowed the woman to play an active role before, during and after elections. And the evidence is in the way he has been educating his daughters and allowing them to the forefront. And also supported their projects. Everybody knows Zahra much more than Yusuf. He has also appointed and worked with women in very sensitive positions in government, examples are: Dora Akunyuili as DG, PTF and Adeosun, as Minister of Finance amongst others... |
