Bad network drains battery faster no doubt, but I see guys here generalising the fact that Glo network is a battery sucker whereas I have been using Glo to browse, stream and download without any increase in battery drain... I think it will be better if we point out that the strength of Glo's signal in our area is the cause and not the Company in general. I come in peace though, today is weekend and we know how some weekends can be in this thread.

I'm not campaigning against them, but I'll definitely call a spade. They've been good with there data bundle, but without 4g reception, that's another matter to settle.

This depends on whether Glo network is good in your location or not, and clearly Glo isn't good @ where you reside.

Except MTN reception is poor, even without using glo to browse, it's a battery sucker. Reason I switched to MTN was because there was no 4g reception in my new location. Even on 2g it sucks

To these still discussing about battery life, this is my assertion:
1. That glo network is a big battery gulper. I don't know why, but that's the truth
2. 2 SIM is another battery drainer
3. Bad network

I thought my redmi7 battery is depreciating, alas, I was wrong. Just had to change my browsing SIM to MTN due to location change and I experience a drastic improvement in battery life

My Redmi 7 suddenly stopped charging..

I had about 27% so I plugged to charge. The light didn't even last 2minutes (as it was unstable) before they took it. Brothers & sisters my phone is still showing "charging" even when not connected & the battery is fast dropping.

Now there's light, I plugged, battery % not increasing but dropping. What should I do?

First experience with any ish. Got the device brand new sometime last year.

Had a very similar issue, it may be a battery bug. I solved mine by reinstalling a full rom

that's on the high side, check the Xiaomi compilation thread for more details on how to maximise usage. In the settings, search for WiFi scanning and turn it off.

After renaming enter Magisk hide settings and select Google services and the PUBG / COD apps... Clear cache of the game apps and the issue should cease

Also disable USB debugging if you have that enabled

i know how to remane magisk, but I can I hide it from majisk. Saw this too on telegram.
