Same too, I thought it was the browser corrupting these files, changed to chrome, via, native, opera and edge, but had to conclude it is actually from these said sites. If I send these file through Bluetooth or over the net same result but Poweramp could read them perfectly.

Check Black player settings, metadata and select "Scan for Music" or if you don't want to do that every time select "select audio library" and choose the folders your songs are in.

That's not point, even if you that rescan or reboot system.... It will still not read the files. Ok

Are you saying they are not listed in these other music players or they (Retro, Black player....) don't show up when you select the music file from the file manager?

Most times it will not show up in the music player, but your file manager will recognise it as a music file, that's why if you click on it all your music app will draw up for potential usage.

Apart from getting another music player app, check if there is a ".nomedia" file in your music folder. This file can prevent your media player from scanning media files in said folder. If the ".nomedia" file is present either delete it, or move your files to another folder.

I experienced the same thing with music file downloaded from certain site but fortunately only Poweramp plays these files on my phone. Native player, black player ex, and retro does not, even if you send the same file to another android phone or over WhatsApp

Glo is the only network trying in no network zone I found myself, I put it on preferred 4G but it switches to edge 'E' every 2 minutes. Like 2 minutes 4G, 2 minutes Edge, H+ at times.
I then changed to preferred 3 problem still persist between 3g and edge.

NB: the glo 4G network is okay when it's on. My roomie is using Tecno spark 3 and the 4G is stable hahaha. It's killing me. This shit cost time which is too valuable for me �

Select LTE/WCDMA or LTE(if you don't use it to make call)

See, not much different, I upgraded from 10 to 11 and I wish I never did. 10 is more stable for the ROM I'm using.

That's very sad considering that would be the second Infinix in 5 months. You'd have to wait till lock down is over to visit CarlCare. Meanwhile, leave it plugged in for hours and be sure the charger is plugged in. Use the charger to charger another ohone before plugging in your Infinix. Just leave it plugged in for hours. This has been known to work for some with similar issue.

If it is a battery issue, the phone will indicate that the battery is bad in insert battery. The guys experience is not different from old Samsung note4(I have never been lucky with 2nd products) though I used it for 2 years. It went blank why trying to charge. It has gone to computer village on Ikeja and back to oyo with no solution.

1. Check the charger with another phone,also test another working charger with the phone. See if there is any battery indicator.
2. If the screen gives an indicator then its the battery that is dead and might need a replacement.
3. If there's no indicator, I fear for the panel(chip) might be gone, but you can still visit the service center
4. Transsion products are synonymous with charging port issue. If it is the case you're safe.

6. If it's no3 above, just save money to buy another phone. Don't even bother replacing it.

Dirty flashing works but the mistake i did was not installing magisk thereafter, custom recovery was changed to stock recovery too. So I will need to install again to gain root access.

Modified: twrp custom flashed and root done

Hello, I only did it one time, over 5 month now. But android explained has a good tutorial on that. Update your usb driver for your system to recognize the phone. Check his YouTube library and website.
First thing get to unlock bootloader first after the waiting period is over. that is why it is good to apply first before you are ready to unlock.

Which model are you using?

I cant remember how MIUI looks again, thanks to custom ROM. Most guys here are on custom ROM, the main thread might be of help. Try and search for quick setting in the settings and see how that goes. Hope you get the solution you need.
