It's unfortunate what happen to this guy. Many peoples are going to India and not having any problem. He should not judge a country just base on one unfortunate incident. @OP sorry this happen on you in my country. Here in Nigeria I always feel welcome and so sad to hear you did not feels the same in my country.

Hearing this from you is like putting color in a drab picture.

talktimi:
What happened at the villa today
By Royal Rebel @Kiingfahd

- I was at the Villa today with the Chibok parents and all I can say is fear twitter and twitter analysis

- Although I am not the type to be involved in heated debates or trending topic I think it's only right I give my account as to what happened

- I am not a good story teller so I can't write about everything that happened, I'd like to talk on two misconceptions making their rounds

- That the President 'Stormed out' and that He did not make any connection to the parents

- Before I proceed I'd like to state that I am a true BBOG member and cannot be driven by any sort of sentiment against the moment

- As it regards Storming out, I think it's misleading to use such a term considering it's is protocol that the president leaves before anyone

- I will briefly state how the meeting with PMB went and allow you be the judge

1. Garba Shehu's address
2. Madam Oby
3. Chibok Chairman

- 4. Chibok parent male
5. Chibok parent female
6. Chibok Pastor
7. PMB in English
8. PMB in Hausa
9. PMB raise and leave

- I understanding hausa (unlike many twitter people there) and PMB's hausa speech was for the parents and I WON'T SAY it was insensitive

- It ended with PMB reassuring them of his commitment and saying 'Allah ya ba karuri' X3 loosely translated 'May God pacify you'

- I saw someone say he didn't wait to take pictures with the parents, after 21months of abduction let's ask ourselves if that's what they want

- Nigerians we say we don't want Politicians lying to us, but truth is we do, we love being lied to we love the political bamboozle

- As for Maman Taraba I think she was callous and was terrible, even a 50 YO bachelor would have related to the plight of the mothers better

Thank you for posting your perspective.

Much respect mate.

I just started reading.... I douff my cap for a man who can put a poem, much more a novel to paper then,I'm yonder amazed when he publishes it.
That's one courageous act that has inspired me.

I pray that;
your stream of muse never go dry,
your sheet never go blank and,
your ink never go dry.

TonyeBarcanista:
I have been holding my position on Fayose's style of 'governance' all these whÍle. I think it's time to express it.

With due respect to Governor Ayo Fayose and his supporters, I think the Governor is abusing governance and is damaging the psyche of average Ekiti person on the responsibility of government.

His stomach infrastructure has made government to be "come and chop" affair instead of devoting such resources to capacity building that will boost the human development of Ekiti people and wealth creation that will empower Ekiti people to be able to increase their financial state and build Ekiti economy.

This pattern of sharing rice, cutting animal skin(kpomo), buying seasoning etc doesn't help the state. Has he asked himself, "after eating the rice, what next for the people?" Will he feed them three times in a day? Will he give them money to cloth? Shelter? Will he 'dash' the people automobile? How can his people get these without real empowerment?

I pray the Governor doesn't carry this form of governance(misgovernance) into the new year! He may not be the worst Governor but he needs to change...

True talk bro.!

Lincoln275:
Dear BIAFRANS, I support your struggle 100% but my problem with
you is the approach you applied.
I would want to suggest the following procedures and I can assure you
it's going to work out successfully.
If you can unite and follow the following steps you are about to read
then, welcome to the Federal Republic of Biafra in advance.
STEP 1
Withdraw all your services from Nigeria and render the Nigerians
short of Igbo services as you are the backbone of the country.
STEP 2
Withdraw your kinsmen who are public office holders, e.g Ike
Ekweremadu, deputy senate president, Peter Obi the D.G of S.E.C.
STEP 3
Reject all the ministerial nomination from the so called, Nigeria.
STEP 4
Endeavour to reject Federal Allocation. You are very industrious, you
will be better off without its resources.
STEP 5
Stop all form of importation through the Nigerian sea port so that
Nigeria will crumble without your Tax.
STEP 6
Recall all your sons and daughters from all parts of Nigeria to
relocate home until this fight is over, so that Nigeria can beg them to
come back as expatriate.
STEP 7
Lock up all your shops in Idumota, Alaba international, Kano markets,
and every other market, even in the remote villages across the
Country.
STEP 8
Go beyond closing Niger bridge thus, stop Nigerians from buying or
selling in Onitsha Main market or Ariaria market in Aba.
STEP 9
Make sure you make your Visa very hard for Nigerians.
STEP 10
Thus, this fight will then be achieved without Violence, just like south
Sudan.
Finally, make sure you don't fight it with weapons.
Make sure you feed the young ones with the history of previous
unsuccessful Biafran War.
IGBO KWENU !!! hee!
Copied and edited.
LOBATAN

Not in a gazillion years will that happen!
