APC should just forget Rivers and tell Amaechi to move on. The truth is Amaechi is very popular in Rivers, but he's popular for the wrong reason. People see him as a betrayal to a fellow Niger Deltan. The context in Rivers wasn't between PDP and APC (APC is almost non-existent in Rivers, because the entire political machinery in Rivers is PDP). The context was between the entire PDP machinery against Amaechi. There was no way Amaechi would have gotten anything out of the Rivers battle.

I'm not denying that there were no irregulaties. Yes, there were irregularities, but the truth is a party can only rig an election where it is the most popular party. I think the irregularities was not to make PDP win, (PDP would surely win Rivers), the irregularities were simply to pass some messages to Amaechi that he's not as popular as he think is, he doesn't have the love of the people as much as he thinks, and he doesn't have control of the state as much as he thinks he does.

the irregularities in the governorship election was to make up for the numbers in the presidential election. Election in rivers is a sham. Average Turnout was way below 20% around the rivers state because of the high level of violence. But the result PDP is dishing out is saying otherwise.

(1) You are not permitted to have a result sheet in your possession but you can have a picture of it. The electoral law demands that results MUST be announced at each PU, ward and LG collation centre. The result sheets are also supposed to be pasted in each PU. Check your electoral law bro. It happened in most places in Lagos. I can show you at least 5 result sheets from around the country.

(2) The soldiers may not have been at the PUs, but they were at the collation centres and drove out all the agents of the other parties, leaving only the PDP agents. Ask the APC and LP agents.

Don't mind them. There is no PU that has upto 50% turnout. This is also as a result of the low collection of PVC which the PDP rigging machine didn't factor into their 1.4m votes.
My PU that has 797 voters only recorded 217 votes. Result were rewritten.

I know APC wouldn't have won in Rivers state during the presidential election but one thing is still certain that they would ve pulled nothing less than 100k votes while the PDP relying on sentiment that GEJ is our own wouldn't ve gotten anything above 800k vote. Am telling you from statistic from my friends that worked in other areas of rivers state as ad-hoc staff. Voters turnout was below 40% generally in Rivers state while in my PU it was less than 30%.
The 1.49 million votes was a disgrace to common sense which PDP rigging machine in Rivers state lack. It was way too obvious.

If on April 20th Buhari is disqualified, i see no reason how pdp will get the president. The cases you mentioned are cases were the other party won but were denied their ticket. Wen Omehia was disqualified the governorship ticket was not given to opposition but to Amaechi.

It 'll be a difficult one to call in Rivers state. But using the result of the presidential election which was over rigged to judge will not be fair to the support Amaechi, Dakuku and APC has even in the camp of PDP.
One thing that caused the presidential result to go the way of pdp in River state is sympathy. Even apc member were voting for pdp but saying that they voted for other NAS members that is were the rigging was made glaring to all.
Come governorship election, all APC supporters will vote dakuku including pdp ppl that want rotation of power. Some will also want to vote so that their state will fall in line wit the ruling party since that is one of the campaign rhetorics of pdp in the state. Lets see how it goes.

Nobody is denying that there are no igbos sympathetic to the APC, we are fair minded people of course but the fact is that the majority of the igbo people are strongly supporting Jonathan and I find it insulting when kids like you find it convenient to name people who wouldn't support APC as tribalist as if everyone must be bound by your political persuasions or views, you have no right to decide for anyone who they choose to govern them, this is a democracy, people's reason for choosing or siding with any candidates remain their prerogative and not subject to your parochial sentiments.

Rivers state result is the most falsify of all result cus in my polling boot which was significantly peaceful only recorded 29% turn out.

#fact some unit in port harcourt thumbprinted more ballot paper than d number of voters in the voters register. You 'll also see that some will dish out result that doesn't tally wit the number of PVC collected by the owners.
