Health › Re: Where Residents Of Anguwar Bakaro, Bauchi Fetch Drinking Water by Edandy(m): 9:25pm On Nov 30, 2018

This is the reason why are I said Nigerians are too filth-ingrained! Why NOT collectively CLEANOUT the filthy gutter FIRST then access the water. Govt responsibility aside, we are too Dirty mhenn!

I got tired that no one was saying anything like this since I have been reading the comments. This is very simple. Water is scarce. A water pipe got broken, and there is an opportunity to fetch the clean water from it, just pass a long hose and move it from the dirty area. Simple! Generally, Nigerians are very dirty and the northerners are extremely dirty. I am in Lagos, and the rate at which people drop nylon, pure water, and non biodegradable materials on the ground is alarming. There is need for a law. Pure water or sachet water need to be banned. Anyone who drop dirt from their cars need to pay 50k. Nigeria is just upside down. I tire

Christianity Etc › What Currency Will Be Needed In Heaven? by Edandy(op): 2:11pm On Jul 08, 2018

Here on earth, we have currencies. We spend money and the more money you can get the better! Money raises status, gives power and makes more friends and folks. There seems to be a link between money, human importance and achievements. An important person if not categorically defined am sure do not spend less than one dollar a day in our world. What about in heaven? Have we thought about it for a moment? Who gets more mansions, power or importance? What will be the criteria that determine status? Are we going to start building wealth and start the race to prosperity, working and keeping inheritance once again like we have done on earth?
Heaven is already beautiful with equal treatment to certain conditions; the gold road is for everyone, the glory of God replacing the Sun is for everyone, the lack of pain and weeping is also for everyone. However, crowns are work specific, different crowns serve as rewards for a job well done. From what we know about crowns on earth, they are symbols of power and honour that differentiate the one that wears it. If there are crowns and crowns denote power or status, then we might agree that despite the fact that heaven is glorious for all; some people might have more power and honour than the others.
So, what makes a man have more honour in heaven? Is it the gifts of working of miracles, or the gift of healing? Is it in the number of prophecies given or the status of the person on earth? We know that God does not respect people based on all these things. But he said whatever a man sow, he would reap! There is reaping in heaven; there are rewards for soul winning. In fact, looking at the basis of Christianity and Christ coming, the whole essence of this religion is to be saved and to help others also. Jesus told his disciples not to rejoice because of the anointing and the power or miracles happening through them when they went for evangelism but he said rejoice that your name is written in the book of life. This emphatically is the priority of Christians; to make heaven and to help others to do so.
There is struggle in the world. We have the powerful and the powerless, important and the “wakapass” VIP and VVIPs. If the people in the world are given the power to start all over again with the same resources for all, I am sure that many if not all will want to be the Dangotes and the Gates. Many desire to be more than what they are today! This fact reminds me that the race to heaven is like restarting the race on earth. There is an opportunity here to start all over. To start building status in heaven!
How does the sound of being a Very Very Important Person (VVIP) in heaven sounds? I am sure soul winning is one of them. It was so important to God that he said every branch in me that bears no fruit is hewed down. Implying that such a branch has lost its importance, more importantly, is what he said next, that the branch that bears fruit is cleaned to bear more. Fruit bearing is so important to Jesus, or else His sacrifice would be in vain.
My conclusion is that if there is a currency needed in heaven, it would be in contributions to soul winning, in the number of souls won. How important do you want to be? Win souls for your maker and let your souls abide, follow them up if possible.

Okocha is right. Couch is probably bribed. He has programmed the team to fail. How can he put a lone striker upfront that is even isolated? We pray for miracle anyway.

that was the exact words I used. He set the team to fail. Who is ighalo to perform as a lone striker? He sold the team

Exactly, that's what set great teams apart from the not-great ones. Players must have attributes like, true pass, Speed, Stamina, Ball control, Short passes and creativity.

Our match against Croatia was an embarrassment and eye-sore to modern day football. I watched the commentary after the match on itv, and I felt more embarrassed. One of the commentators, a Croatian ex footballer admitted that the Croatian team that Nigeria played against were bad, but only got lucky cos they played against a worse Nigerian team. Nothing was said about the formation or technicality. All the commentators mentioned about was the lack of drive, skills, stamina, speed e.t.c among the Nigerian players.

what can we do now for the remaining matches

Hello house, Please am new here and I have a question. I applied to the University of Waterloo Phd program (Public Health and Health Systems) for September intake. Since January, I have not received any admission decision. I check the portal like hell every day cant count the number of times. Now i have admission from Australia from like 3 schools for July intake but Master programmes. Please what do you advise? Should I still wait for Waterloo? they dont answer their mails. And the schools in Australia are all waiting for my decision almost closing.

Anyone in Waterloo here? do they accept Nigerians?

That course isn't on the PR list, huge red flag, unless you want to go back to Naija after studies or marry an obese white woman . Plus you need 2 years of studies to get PR. Although Bond is a reputable uni, it is located in a suburb of Gold Coast and GC is mostly a tourist city with limited job opportunities. I always advise students to get admissions into unis in Sydney, you won't regret it as there are heaps of jobs here.

Thanks JewelStone and everyone. God bless all of you. Pls I am trying to apply for masters in nursing practise base on the info i got here in university of New England, but i just checked, it is in Armidale in northern central New South Wales. Pls do they have heaps of jobs like sydney? I am sourcing for family members loan to do this. I need those jobs to sustain myself and pay the school fee. Also, am trying to apply to AL1 univ. so i need to provide sponsorship bank statement as am sourcing it from different sources. What do you advise? is there a school i need to try in sydney?
