Is there a particular amount one should have saved up before the gift deed? If yes how much for a family of four? MayorOfEdmonton: First off, how did you raise the initial money in the savings account before gift deed top-up? Anyways, you have to show&prove the financial trail with explanation AFTER you’ve moved the money back to your savings account from fixed deposits. Good thing you have been given a chance to explain it.
In my opinion, something like this:
‘Dear Visa Oficer, I appreciate the opportunity you’ve provided me to prove that the money in my proof of funds is accessible to me blah blah blah….as evident from page 1 of the document I uploaded(or attached to this letter), I had #xxxxxxxxxx in my account save up (or initial gift deed) for the purpose of my immigration to Canada by 12/03/1900 when I submitted my application. However, as a result of the instability of foreign exchange I received an additional gift deed from my xxxx so that my proof of funds can meet the current Canadian dollars valuation in naira on 10/03/1900. This is shown by the money deposit & gift deed in page 2 & 3. To ensure the said funds remain exclusively for my immigration purpose, I however made a fixed deposit for xx days on 11/03/1900 evident from the transfer from my account to the fixed deposit account on page 4. To prove that the fund is accessible to me, I have transferred the money back into my savings account on 13/03/1900, a current statement of account and reference letter from my bank is shown on page 5(include a new bank reference letter with recent date)’. I appreciate your diligence and fairness in processing PR applications.’
Tweak the above as applicable to your situation… The key I believe is to be convincing and proof you have access to the money.
P.S: The above won’t work for ‘arranged’ POF, as you won’t have financial trails to back your claims. |

Hello everyone, I have just started my pr journey. I have submitted my profile 395. 2 things I can still do; get TEF Canada and do another IELT. I want to ask if I can get any PNP. I have 15 points for having a sibling in Calgary. I am a school administrator running my own school. Is there any solution apart from writing French or rewriting IELT?
If I must write TEF, can anyone point me to resources, WHATAPP group I can join. Thanks for your anticipated help. |

I read everything up there, and I am very angry with your husband. He should have learnt how to balance discipline with love.
You have damaged that boy. You even went ahead to beat him outside the house by those estate employees that should be giving him his own respect. Not that your boy smokes, or drinks or follow bad friends or even do hard drugs. All he wanted was that you support his vision in life.
This is a new generation. You guys need to learn how to handle children of this generation. Anyways, the deed is done. My advice is that you get close to him. Find a way you can support him both in his study and football. If possible, show your husband the majority of nairaland comments on this issue
Find a way to show that boy love. You guys didn't even bother to check his result before he dropped out of school. Find agents for him locally. Find help, if he is that good with football. Let him try out with local teams first before you start looking for help outside the country. Finally, commit him into the hand of the lord. Peace |

[quote author=Odewaleadesoye post=121707900][font=Georgia][b]Actually, this is Nigeria where the Judiciary is under the direct control of the executive.
The earlier the better for Mr. Peter Obi and we the Obidients.
We need to accept the reality now and move on quickly as Bola Ahmed Tinubu is the President-elect and he will be inaugurated while nothing will happen.
We have tried our best by coming out massively to vote.

Ogbecheoga: Akwa ibom Bayelsa Cross River Delta Edo Rivers.
My dear Southerners, let's take our revenge.
In 2015 the westerners connived with northerners and stole our mandate from our brother Goodluck Jonathan.
Only the Easterners gave us 95% vote even far more than we gave our self. Today their son is on the ballot paper. we will return the favour this time. Vote OBI
Don't be deceived by party, because when they stole our mandate they ganged up as one, to make sure they destabilise us, therefore as 25-02-2023 comes we will pay them back.
Come to think of it, how many northerners and westerners have taxable and meaningful investment in the southern region outside stolen minaral resources, they don't even buy land not to talk of building here. Do northerners even rent apartments? They don't even have faith in us.
Therefore na person way scratch my back I go scratch him own. All south south vote is for Obi. This is where you are loosing it with your myopic view. I am pro Obi. I and my friends, families belong to Obi. I am Yoruba and I don't want to see Tinubu on that seat. You are demarketing Obi with your stupid strategy. Even if others do it, forgive and move on. Jonathan lost 2015 election because every sane mind wanted a better option not knowing the stupid Buhari would be terrible. The same thing that happened in 2015 is about happening now in 2023, we are looking to make a change. Hopefully, Peter, Gregory Obi will not be a mistake like Buhari. So forget about this your bitterness. Indo. Move on. On Peter Obi I stand. |

@OP What gives you the effrontery to be calling your friend's wife by her name?.. is she your girlfried or blood relation?
Even when an old man with grown up kids marry a much younger woman.. the woman automatically becomes their step mother and they must regard her as that regardless of age. I tire for the op. Is not his fault, the borrower is a slave to the lender |

I'm a Yoruba man ... there is "O" there is "e" ... e is a prefix for Respect ... O is a Prefix for Comradeship..
Once a Female friend is Married ... I changed it to "e" to mark my respect for her marital life and Mix with "O" once we are together ....
A colleague of mine got Married to a girl in my Department she was in 300L while I was in year 2 of Masters .... Very Junior to me age ....
I started using "e"(Prefix for Respect) for Her Once she Married my Colleagues even while they were dating .... E.g Sister Ayoka, e bami ki Bro Seye ..(Sister Ayoka, help me greet seye) ...
That's Our Culture....
I could sound English by Saying "Ayoka ba mi ki Seye" .... (Ayoka, Greet seye):

Unfortunately, you don't want to be too spiritual. Your mother was limited for loving to have more than a child. Signs are already showing that the limitation is also around your neck. Learn how to pray. That limitation might be generational. Stop saying I don't want to be too spiritual because you are an African, rather, be a good Christian, attend a Bible believing church.
Main while, many of your mama church branches na modern herbalist domains. If you have a background of white garment Church, the more reason to pray more, especially now that limitation is raising it's ugly head. Your wife has just started a battles, I pray the lord delivers you all. My opinion though |
