Wish my neighbor could read this. Though I doubt it would anything about the brainwash. ![]() |
@poster Was electricity invented, created or discovered by Faraday? Your stupidity is so much that some of it rubbed on me. Was stupid enough to read and reply your post. |
Di tory long. I can not fit readam finis. ![]() |
Where is God in our everyday lives? God is everywhere, performing a balancing act to keep the physical world as we know it. Handling big issues like the weather on earth or trivial issues like initiating the death of a baby. Providing surplus for a few and scarcity for many. Giving men the ideas and ability to produce weapons of mass destruction and also medicine and procedures that extend and make our lives better. You know, all the stuff we see around everyday. Either that or God has lost interest, has fallen asleep or is dead, leaving everything on some bizarre autopilot. |
God may exists but the religions we have today are just way off. Especially those that have a book written by 'God'. These books usually project 'God' as an egoistic, myopic, tribal, unfair, blood thirsty and plain stupid beign amongst many other questionalble attributes. If these books were really written by 'God', wouldn't they contain concrete explanations and predictions of things that would really leave us better off and not loads and loads of meaningless fables? The discovery of penicillin, for instance? A cure to cancer, AIDS? How to harness fusion for the world's energy needs? The transistor? How to acheive global unified peace without war? |
If prayers were horses, |
As much as I try not to derail from the topic, I can not resist. This guy is wonderful. He's now writing in a language mere mortals can not understand. I hereby declare that I would strive to accept hook, line and sinker what his wonderfulness has to say about this topic. I have a first degree in social studies only so please bear with me. No more replies. Will only listen. And please, your gloriousness, don't smack me in the face with more detailed,hmm,crap? ![]() |
Too bad. Really. A cup full of, yes, detailed crap. |
@Yinkay Well said |
The posts reads 'What is the relationship between processor and I/O device'. How does a processor interact with an I/O device and vice versa. Can you explain, for instance, how the processor interacts with say the network card or sound card on a PC? How do the devices get volumes of data to and from memory? Is the processor involved in the transfer of every byte between I/O device and memory? If not, what is the most common technology used? How is it done in the real world? Please no 'detailed crap'. |
"RAMs, DMAs are names given to memory that can be accessed a certain way" ![]() DMA is a name given to memory?"Where does your square wave come from?" Implying here that they are always generated from sinusoidal waves? Dear original poster please do yourself a favour and read a good book on computer basics for processor and I/O. You would be much better off. The rate at which this guy spews detailed crap (as he said in his post) is amazing. I pray he's not a lecturer somewhere. |
Wallie. Sinusoidal wave? Na wa O! Maybe in analogue computers. Digital computers (your PC for instance) use square waves which are non-sinusoidal. Get your facts. |
Wallie Wallie Wallie. You need to get your facts straight. DMA a buffer? Na wa O! |
The processor controls the transfer of data between I/O device and memory. The processor can be involved in the actual read/write of data to/from memory but not in all cases. Some I/O devices bypass the central processor altogether in the transfer of data. For instance Direct Memory Access in PCs. The processor only sets up the DMA transfer. Also the processor speed is not a factor here. |

@ekt_bear I was under the impression that PHP can interact with C/C++/Java libraries. So anything those languages can do, you can do in PHP. Invalid deduction. PHP pointers and pointer arithmetic? |
Frankly, it's going to be pretty hard to convince adherents of other relgions that Jihad is a peaceful concept as the poster is trying to do. Especially in this part of the world where western media is the primary source of information. The voilent jihadists that make the news don't make it any easier. |
@sizzlers Arountnonsence? God! LMAO! |
A great man and an inspiration to many. |
Is PHP a real programming language? ![]() |
@harakiri Good point. Though I really wonder how say, a muslim, would be treated over there. ![]() |
@harakiri An athiest basically doesn't believe in gods. That belief may grow so popular that it becomes a 'religion' with many 'followers' and may become 'unfriendly' to other religions. |
Guys, religion is man made (This doesn't mean God doesn't exist, another topic). Most religion, especially the abrahimic ones, usually breed hatred in the believers for unbelivers. If atheism develops to be a religion it may become similar to christianity or other religions in breeding hatred. To bad most of the religion mongers don't know jack about humanity. |
