Okanokan: It is quite clear from decisions the tribunals and courts, including our Supreme Court have churned out, that CARD READERS and VOTERS REGISTERS are not important in the conduct of elections in Nigeria. The Opposition Parties Pdp, Sdp Accord, KOWA etc etc should be prepared in 2019 to discountenance the use of CARD READERS and VOTERS REGISTER; The courts have spoken. The opposition must fight with the WEAPON of his traducer. The use of Card reader was not previously included in the electoral laws of Nigeria. It is one of the changes introduced in the new Electoral Act that was recently passed by the Senate. Under the new Act, the use of card reader is now mandatory. Failure to use it by whoever is authorised will amount to years in prison. |

Typical moslem way of burying head in the sand. The above wanton verbiage of the OP did not make any sense. It didn't make any attempt at countering the facts raised by Sanusi. Why, because they are sacrosanct and undeniable FACTS!
Is Zamfara not the first state to impose sharia on its residents? Is it not (arguably) the poorest and most backward state in Nigeria? Has the oppressive hypocrisy of Islamic sharia and its attendant religious fundamentalism contributed to the betterment of the Zamfara? Or has it been the clog in the wheel of development of the state and the advancement of the lives of the people as is clearly evident?
Suffice to say that the OP is, indeed, a glittering jewel of colossal ignorance. |

smartty68: Reprisal is the only option now cos as it stands they're the next boko haram. If something is not done to cub this menace in time, believe me the affected regions will fight back which may lead to war.
The herdsmen are zombies, someone at the top is using remote to control them. Reprisals does not solve much of the problem. Self defense is the only solution. When communities defend themselves, they will not appear weak and hapless for Fulani terrorists to attack, then the need for reprisals will be totally eliminated |

Can these hypocritical liberal globalists now shift their attention from Trump? This is far more racist, nationalistic and xenophobic than The Donald's policy, which was to curb Islamic terrorism. Zuma and his ungrateful compatriots continue to make a mockery of African solidarity. Charity begins at home! 989900: [i]Trump effect, if true . . . Story looks suspect. "the British High Commission, in its statement, said “a more cordial, collaborative and unified approach between Nigeria and her allies than the reported differences was used”. The statement added: “UK worked with the US and France to provide a range of military and intelligence support to the Nigerian government in their search (for the Chibok girls), and in fact, a wider effort to address the longer term challenge of terrorism. Nothing different from what we already know. The previous report did not deny the fact that there was technical support from the Brits and Yankees. What this statement did not deny is the fact that Jonathan rejected the actual rescue attempt. “But importantly, we won’t comment on specific additional details, which is a matter for the Nigerian government and the military." I didn't expect the British official to confirm the allegation. That was too sensitive for his position. |
