Romance › The Power Of Forgiveness by Eddodoh(op):
Every relationship either intimate or not, comes with a mixture of pain, disappointment and embarrassment and so on. These emotions are triggered by an event which leads to anger.

There may be times when you get angry because your spouse or your friend said something that belittle you. The emotional effects of this event are that you get angry. This emotion can degenerate to a bad relationship and cause more havoc where they two people break up or have a soar working relationship.

• Why You Need To Forgive

Anger is natural which arise from the feeling that you have been offended by someone or something. It is good to get angry, but, when you allow it to have a great hold of your life, it becomes harder to let it go.

When you allow anger to get a grip on your life, it gets hold of your personal growth. The negative effects of this is that your relationship with people both at home and office begin to soar. You become a shadow of yourself when you allow others behaviour and attitudes to control you.

Anger can affect your productivity at work and may cause you job lost. You get angry at people at any slightest provocation. This affects your mental and psychological well-being.

• Learning The Act of Forgiveness

Forgiveness is a recipe for a happy life. When you don't forgive, you allow yourself to use as a dream killer. The grudge against your spouse or friends hold you back from progress. You need to make deliberate attempts to forgive.
This can be achieved through the process of creating a list of people who have angered you and you need to forgive. Do not forget to include your spouse, friends or colleagues. These help you to draw a wider list of people you need to forgive. It is necessary for helping you to identify reasons why you should forgive.
This may be a great challenge at first, but it can be achieved through persistence and commitment.

• Forgiveness Connect You With Blessings

The good thing about freeing yourself from anger is that you are open to receive divine blessings. Forgiving those who have hurt you, allows you to communicate in a friendly manner. The person you are angry at may not be aware that you still bear the grudge. He or she goes about his business. You should see people who provoke as a machinery to build a better person.
Put the past behind and focus on building a new relationship.
You may seek for professional counsel to help through your forgiveness process. Continue Reading

Now, I would want us to critically exmamine his post before coming to a conclusion.

Note: I am not quite much of an employer, as I am more of a writer. I'm saying this so you don't insult me as well, or see me as speaking in favor of him.

Okay, that said, I'd go straight to the point. The writing industry is an open market just like any other market, free and with everyone at liberty to set his market rates and prices.

However, we should note a few reasons why people set their prices way below the word count:

1. They are not the original owners of the job: This is a major reason why people set their pay level below the article word count. By the time they receive the work from the main writer, and give it to you, water don pass garri if you know what I mean.

2: The pay is too small: I wanted adding this to the first point but I decided to address it separately for clarity sake. Lt's take for example; some jobs I get on upwork, the client sets his price level at $1 per 500 words or 300 words as the case may be. Where it's too much for me to handle, I would outsource them. Still yet, I won't want to lose all from outsourcing, so I might take out 100 or 200 naira from the price per article if I outsource. That would now bring the price down a bit below the word count per article. So you see, it's not always the fault of the outsourcing party in question.

3. Standard of writers: I have worked with a few writers who do not know how to write at all, or make a lot of mistakes in their writing. I won't pay so much for so little, when I know I would finally have to edit the article to make it presentable. So if you can show me articles you have previously worked on, or do a "free" or "paid" test as the case may be, I might reconsider my stand.

4. Some clients want to save: A new entrepreneur just starting a website or blog as the case may be, would want to save as much as they can so as to reduce the financial inputs made in the business, so as not to overspend even before they begin to rake in profits from the business or Google Adsense.

4. Greedy clients: Some clients are quite greedy. A 3rd party client once wanted to share the price for a large project 50-50 with me, just because she was outsourcing it to me, even though I was going to do the bulk of the project. That's quite unfair. 60-40, or 70-30 ratio, where the main writer takes the bulk of the fee is not bad. I outrightly rejected the work sha.

5. Add yours sha.

Like I said earlier, I'm not in support neither am I opposing the client.

Gracias,
Curt.

Romance › How To Move On After A Toxic Relationship by Eddodoh(op): 12:47am On Jan 14, 2017
You discover yourself in a situation where your bad relationship is now behind you. For some people, it's like the end of their lives while others make concentrate effort to move on with their lives. What is your next action?

Some people are faced with a common temptation when moving out of a toxic relationship. Usually, it's the desire to look back or dwell on the past. You will be distracting yourself and it makes you to second guess your bold decision.

There are basically four (4) steps which will help you to resist the temptation to have a second guess when you decide to move on;

- Do Away With Items That May Trigger Memories of Your Ex;

Keeping items like gifts and pictures of your ex that remind you of them will not help you develop the mental and emotional intelligence you need to move on with clarity and renewed purpose. You need to get rid of them altogether or remove them away from your everyday sight. Moreover, It is important for you to not have constant reminders lurking around everywhere you look as you start the important work of self-healing.

- Be Open To New Relationships;

Now that you’ve taken the bold step and turned the page to a new chapter it will be necessary for you to keep your mind and heart open and clear as you move on. Remind yourself as often as possible of the thought that in order for someone amazing to come into your life, someone else must first leave. Yes, you do not have to dwell in the past and allow yourself to suffer in silence with low-esteem. You've got to move on.

The mistake some people make is to dwell in the past and not move on, You think that you will not find someone like your ex. You need to be proud of yourself for having the courage to create that space and commit to only allow it to be refilled with bright and positive new possibilities. You don't need to deny yourself the best life can afford by dwelling in a toxic relationship. You are special and someone out there, need your love.

- Replace Thoughts of Regrets With Validations of Your Personal Strengths and Assets

You have probably found yourself in a situation where you have broken up with your ex and because you always felt bad about your decision to love in the first place or why you did not stay in the toxic relationship, your ex sees you as a garbage and would play on your emotions. Helping yourself from your toxic relationship was in itself a show of strength and you can pat yourself on the back for that. On a small piece of paper, Write down at least 5 empowering and positive qualities you believe you possess. Keep that list somewhere that you visit at least once a day. You may decide to keep the list on the bedside table, bathroom mirror or fridge. Seeing this often will be a constant reminder to you to continue to look forward as you keep the heart open for the right person, who will truly value you, to come into your life.

- Write A Short List Of The Benefits Of Moving On

Aside the list you just created listing your personal strengths and assets, create additional lists of the benefits of you having moved on so that reading this daily will equip you to know that you didn’t make a mistake in leaving that relationship behind. For instance, you can write down one of the benefits stating that “I have decided to get myself attached to someone who constantly treat me bad” or “I have enough money for myself since I no longer provide monetary assistance to my ex". You will be propelled to start a new relationship with clear goals. Read More
