Fellow Nairalanders, can someone with a matured reasoning, very reasonable and convincing point of view please advice a brother on this issue. He is thinking of quitting his 48k job to take up Npower. His analysis shows that the 48k job isn't guaranteed. The man wakes up and fires anybody he wish. He joined the coy in February this year. Risk factor in the job pretty high. 8am-6pm Monday to Saturday. But Npower, pretty stable for 2 years, 8am-2pm Monday to Friday, risk factor very low. Extra time and days for other business. Do tender your modest thoughts please. Let's help the guy in his choice making. |
babajeje123:Possibly you are typing this from the comfort of your Air conditioned office, luxuriating in the emotional/ psychological eldorado associated with employment. Possibly you may not have ever felt the pinge of idleness and joblessness. Must we cast aspersion on all palliative measures initiated by the government? Must we lambast every single move made by the government? Isn't the program enunciated well to the general public when it was christened, "paid VOLUNTEER corps "? Do we understand here what VOLUNTEERSHIP work is all about? Invaded we forgot, in volunteership schemes, pay is never a major point of departure in enrolling on that. Service to humanity is. You can check out a similar program in U.S called, "Teach For America ". It's not new here. |
prof4uall:To recap, a marketing/Promotional job!! |
Very important. The job description isn't stated. Applicants need to know what position and job description they will be into, so as to prepare themselves ahead. Specifying this will accord more legitimacy to the post here, because many are seeing this as a Scam or Some Multi-Level Marketing stuffs. Please #prof4uall can you assuage some doubts here? What's the nature of the job? |
It should be female job I guess? A savings-thrift organization? |

Please who knows anything about GIS LOGISTICS Port Harcourt? Got a text that goes this way: "On Referral, GIS LOGISTICS invites you for a job screening exercise tomorrow by 9:am at 12 Olu Obasanjo Road Opp. Nigerian Civil Defence Corps, PH. Ref: HR/TTM/JNU07" Please guys help with confirmation of the legitimacy of this text. Don't want to waste scarce resources in this "Change" era. Thanks all |
Those that didn't receive text but successfully did the test, must have received acknowledgment mail when they registered? I hope am right?? Coz people like me never received acknowledgment mail, no sms, and couldn't log in. One wonders why this scenario played out. |

What about signature on page 18, last page of the form. How do I attach my signature?? |
You guys should read what they posted on their dash board very well. If you have successful registered without receiving activation mail, it shouldn't stop you from going ahead with the application. If they told you your registration was successful, then leave the site and re-enter again. Click the Login and enter your email address and password you used while registering and then they will bring you to the vacancy page again where you select the one you wish to apply to. Click details, when it opens you move down to apply. Then you begin to supply informations page by page. Up to 18 pages. Am even using my phone's internet browser effectively. Working perfect. Make use of Google mail account. its more effective. The last page is where am stuck. Anyone can help me on how to put my signature please. Goodluck to us all. |

What should be the answer to "Are you willing to be deployed to a rural area". Because this N-Power Teach program, according to them, is meant to be carried out by successful candidates in their IMMEDIATE RURAL AREAS. So would that question not be a way of fishing out those who are unwilling to align with the goal of the program, and hence be disqualified? Is it ok to answer "No" to that question? Just thinking sha!! |
Please can you enlighten me on the places to get the Nylon at PH.. Needed urgently.. Thanks a million |
Onitsha is a densely populated area that could also serve this pilot testing scheme. Just an observation though. |
Is this invitation still open for someone in Onitsha Please immediate reply is sine qua non. |

Fellow nairalanders, its a simple question. Which products and services do you see as having a high demand today in Nigeria, especially in your neighbourhood? We can brainstorm to salvage ourselves out of the current economic ebola! |
