The clash as revealed by investigations originated from a misunderstanding between an indeginous person and a non-indigene as to the use of space. It is said that the misunderstanding degenerated to heated arguments and an unfortunate infliction of bodily injury on one party, a situation that escalated a serious crisis which led to more injuries and wanton destruction of properties of immense value.

As an association committed to the fight against all forms of ethnicity and tribalism where it is deployed negatively, we are poised to respond to this ugly incident which tended towards ethnicity.

It is quite unsettling that at a time when we are supposed to be promoting unity and taking advantage of our collective uniqueness as a people, some unscrupulous elements are still pushing the frontiers of war inspired by ethnic/tribal sentiments.

While it may not be out of place for brothers to disagree, when such disagreements ferry along with it, biases upon tribe, colour or race, such repugnant tendencies must be immediately repudiated by all and not made a trend by bloggers/social media users.

Since that day my life situation has worsened because I was forced to stay with different people where I was being abused , my baby dad came as a guardian angel to my life he took care of everything i needed by promising me heaven on Earth I taught he will get me out of my hard situations but I was wrong i find out he was married with kids I was heartbroken because I didn’t want to live the same lifestyle as my mum had lived but history has repeated itself just like my mother had me with a married man but she knew he was married but me I didn’t know , but it was too late for me to moved on because I was already pregnant for him and I didn’t want to abort my baby I have decide to continue the relationship but when I was 4 months pregnant he left me and blocked me from all his contacts , this is the man that has never bothered to asked about his child for 5 years now..

Visit www.anzscosearch.com to read about the point system as well as state nominating your occupation.

You can create EOi with 75 points but may not be able to get ITA with that point as the last draw had 95 as minimu point for ITA. The chances that points will drop for 189 is almost zero cos DHA wants to push immigrants to the regional areas and not the congested cities.

So 190 and 491 is your best option, that's if your occupation is being nominated by any state.

Currently, only TAS and NT are nominating it for 491. Getting nomination from ACT is mostly not achievable due to their matrix system except you studied in ACT.

Please note that EA does not specify the type of skilled migration visa to apply for on your assessment outcome letter. When you have a positive assessment from EA approving all your years of experience, you can apply to any of these states for 491 but for 189, you will surely need more than 75 points.

65 is the benchmark for ITA for all visa subclass (189, 190 & 491) but since April 2019, points for 189 has increased to about 90. The least point that got 189 ITA in December had 90 points. There were 95 points (internal auditors and few IT roles) and 100 (accountants).

The other options are state nomination visa (190/491) but with several conditions and requirements per state.

I am a graduate of mechanical engineering with 7 years on-the-job experience as a mechanical quality control inspector in the oil and gas construction industry. By next year I’d be 31years old. From the points table I hope to achieve 75points which is the requirement for ITA provided I can get a positive assessment from EA for 189. What are my chances like and what other category can I apply for?

189 should not even be on your mind if you don't have points of up to 90 and above... Not even for an occupation like chemical engineering.

You could go for Chemist or Chemistry technician with Vetassess

I don’t know why the public keep getting mislead! For crying out loud, this is the fertilizer project and not the refinery project. All structures in the fertilizer project have green color while the refinery has blue color. The pipe rack is still in infancy stage as opposed to that depicted in the picture above. The only thing that shows refinery is the vessel in the last pic of which it is still in its lay down area so please let’s be guided.
