Today was the worst I've seen Lacazette play. This guy is almost as slow as Giroud. No pace, isn't strong, just tidy on the ball with good finishing. That isn't enough for someone as short as him.

u no go see ur defenders blame...na only iwobi u go see ..

And by the way who do u want to replace him withhuh welbeck??
Miki will bench him sooner or later. Iwobi is great, but he just hasn't been effective attacking wise. Right now he's all hustle and bustle. No where close to his form in the first half of last season.

Guys, do you think it's a cool deal if we gave the Chelshit scums Giroud in exchange for David Luiz...

Cc Spy360, edi287, sod09
Nah. Luiz is a liability and too much of a stop gap. We're being linked with Manolas and Diallo. Chelsea should either pay at least 20m for Giroud or piss off.

dont be surprised guys if this guy makes it to Russia , i am having the feeling, he has some unique style and so far in this competition he has nt done badly .... has the power and his hold up play is good ... also have a way of coming to the midfield to contribute to the team , i know he has missed some begging chances and one on one ... but he can get better , what if he his been drill and he develop so fast into the kind of beast we will need huh? i think stage fright has contributed to his ability , but he keeps improving ... pay attention to him , he is Strong and dangerous . just my opinion
He will definitely not be on the plane to Russia. We have at least 6 strikers better than he is

Either ways, it looks like he will be let go at the end of the season.

It's funny what the Nigerian youth is always up to.

We cry everyday asking that power be handed over to us. But what do with we do? We spend excessive time in frivolities, disputing someone's age and taking so much time to prove why someone is not the age they claim.

Why would politicians take us serious? Smh.

Then we wonder why the government doesn't create jobs. Imagine the time this research must have cost. Clearly we are all occupied.

I weep for the Nigerian youth.
What nonsense!! It's called investigative journalism.

The none qualification for the 2006 WC dealt a major blow to the popularity and followership of the Super Eagles. Then came the nick name "Super Chickens". I could beat up anybody that called the Super Eagles that name then. It was so annoying.
Kai I remember that year.. I cried when we didn't qualify. The next day at school, my friends were calling me "Super Cockrell". That's when I started liking Arsenal more.

Kelechi Nwakali joins MVV Maastricht on loan
By arseblog - January 24, 2018 2

Last week reports emerged that Arsenal were set to cut short the loan of Kelechi Nwakali to VVV Venlo.

The 19 year old has had a difficult time with the Eredivisie outfit, starting just three games despite scoring on his first appearance for the club back in September.

Rather than being called to London, however, he’ll spend the second half of the season with MVV Maastricht in the Dutch second division.

Nwakali spent last season on loan with them, making 34 appearances, scoring three goals and making 4 assists.

The Nigerian joined the Gunners in the summer of 2016, and his loan moves are developmental.

Unfortunately it seems he’s been unable to convince mid-table VVV Venlo that he’s ready for their first team, so let’s hope it goes well with Maastricht who are in a similar league position in the Eerste Divisie.

my 50 kobo;

Emenike's struggles with Nigeria in my opinion started when Ideye got dropped from the team. No?

How many games have Nigeria not scored in with Ideye in the line-up?

My only criticism of him is he seems to have lost his knack for putting the ball in the net in the latter part of his career. Earlier on playing in the Swiss league and immediately afterwards, he was a beast! His goals did the talking, no long story. Having said that, on the positive side, the team play better in the final third when Ideye plays. He can hold the ball up excellently and links play better than anyone we have. This though I agree does not mean he is guaranteed a seat on the plane to Russia. Personally he has always been in my 'team' if 100% fit and in a bit of form.

Finally I am not so sure about how hungry he is these days. I just have a feeling he is happy with the career he has had so far and obviously is now financially secure and has a couple of medals to show for his effort. The same cannot be said of most of the younger guys and this is a problem.

Thank you for listening. lol
Preach!!

A Striker whose only highlights for the national team was that flick to Emenike in 2013 and the build up to Iheanacho's goal against Zambia.

The only time he really had it going was when he went to the Greek league, a league we will easily regard here as back-water. But upon invitation to the Super Eagles it seemed he was again overrated.
Ideye isn't a poacher but a target man. Target men are so underrated at times. His hold up play is good and he has underrated technique. He won't obviously score as much as Nacho or Ighalo, but he can be a useful tool off the bench. If anything, Nacho will benefit playing alongside someone like him.

or he might switch to 4-2-3-1...

playing oezil behind striker, mikhi and iwobi @ the flanks and then auba at the center... I don't think auba is bought for the wings... he is bought as competition or backup for lacazette in my own..
Lacazette will most likely play outwide. Mkhi will play as an inverted winger. With Ozil, Wilshere/Ramsey and Xhaka, Arsenal can afford to play Laca on the left as there's enough technical ability in the team. Welbeck will take Giroud's position as back up striker.

We can't play a front three without Ozil in it.

If Mkhitaryan must start then Lacazette to bench.
In a 4-2-3-1, Ozil will play as a 10 while Laca or Aubamayeng plays on the right. They'll alternate.
