safarigirl: na so Ajiboye don replace Alampasu? Na wa o. If we are going to waste a third choice goalie, is it not better to take the young player than someone's father?
The way una dey discharge players for this country ehn...it's cause for concern ....sometimes we act just like the England we love to criticize
I would rather Alampasu, and this Muazzam guy, no more Joel Obi? Onyekuru....what of Nwakaeme? Is Onyekuru now a Top 9? We will not finish with the ones we have in camp, we will be adding people.
This your list is not even 50% accurate, you go see Looool I know, I'm saying what I'd like to see for that game. |

I also think senior players like Mikel should step in and advise before it's too late. I bèlieve he's not a lost cause yet. Infects?? Dude has already been infected. Rumors of his attitude and lifestyle have been going on for a while now. This story is really no surprise to me. It's disappointing because he has massive potential. |

TheGoodJoe: At least we have an idea why Isaac Success' talent is rotting away if this story is true. No serious coach will play this kind of person.
PREM ACE SEX SHAME Premier League star Isaac Success arrested after ‘paying four hookers £2,000 for a hotel romp’ and ‘angrily demanding his cash back
A PREMIER League ace paid four hookers £2,000 for a hotel romp — but failed to score with any of them after drinking two bottles of Baileys.
Watford’s Isaac Success, 21, was arrested after angrily demanding his money back.
Alexis Domerge was one of the escorts paid by footballer Isaac Success
Alexis Domerge was one of the escorts paid by footballer Isaac Success Escort Alexis Domerge said the Watford star boasted of his prowess in the bedroom after paying the women £2,000 for a hotel romp.
But the 21-year-old, who has found the net only once in 19 Watford appearances, drank two bottle of Baileys — and then repeatedly failed to score with the hookers.
When the women decided to blow the whistle on Success’s lacklustre performance after 90 minutes, he angrily demanded his money back.
He was arrested in the hotel lobby after cops were called.
The Watford star became angry and demanded his money back after the girls called time on the romp Alexis, 24, said: “He accused us of ripping him off and asked for his money to be returned.
“It was terrifying. He had paid four of us £500 each to party with him and we all got naked as soon as the money came through on our phone bank accounts.
“He was drinking Baileys straight from the bottle.
“He must have chugged at least two. I pulled off his shorts and got down to it with three other girls doing everything you could imagine.
“But he was getting frustrated. What do you expect if you drink two bottles of Baileys liqueur straight from the bottle?”
Fellow escort Michaela Carter, 30, said: “He had a nice body and all four of us massaged him for a full hour and a half — as long as a football match.
“He had been boasting to us all night about how much he earned and how much fun we were going to have.
“But it’s fair to say that Mr Success did not live up to his name during our night together.
“He seemed really keen on Baileys — swigging the stuff out of the bottle. It made me cringe because it’s so sickly sweet.
“He seemed a bit shy and awkward, probably because he’s only 21. After a bit of chat Alexis took charge and said it was time to get down to business.
Success was arrested in the hotel lobby after cops were called
Alexis says the Prem star became frustrated but blamed his performance on the booze Alexis says the four escorts all got naked as soon as the money came through on their bank accounts “She laughed and told him, ‘We want your money before the honey’.
“So he transferred £2,000 straight to one of the girls which was divided between the four of us.
“The partying started as soon as the money came into our accounts and we all stripped off.
“All five of us were squirming around on the bed but after a while we realised the Baileys had taken its toll.
“Eventually, I told him I couldn’t stay any longer and we couldn’t give him extra time. That’s when things started to get nasty.
“There was a lot of screaming which must have woken the entire hotel.
“At that point the police were called. We were all making a terrible racket.
“I ended up with a slight cut on my face and a bruise on my arm during the chaos.
“I don’t know how it happened. During the row I also stumbled backwards and broke the heels of my £600 Louboutin shoes. It meant I was already £100 down.”
Michaela claims the footballer boasted about his high earnings# Things turned nasty when the girs told Success they couldnt give him extra time
Nigerian international Success, who earns £30,000 a week, booked the four girls after spending the night at a lap-dancing club in London’s West End. In the early hours they were texted the details of the luxury Sopwell House hotel, Herts, where Success had hired a first-floor suite.
Michaela said: “We met him and a couple of his mates in reception but they left, leaving just Isaac and the four of us.
“We went up to his room. It was a nice room and I could tell he had lots of money because there were designer clothes in there and Christian Louboutin trainers which can cost £800 a pair.
“He offered us drinks then started boasting about how rich he was.
“He said, ‘You won’t believe how much I earn in 90 minutes’.”
Alexis, from Brooklyn, New York, said: “I was actually quite turned on by his body. He’s beautifully toned.
“Eventually, Michaela and one of the other girls broke it to him that they couldn’t stay any longer.
“But he then accused us of ripping him off and demanded his money back.
“Several police cars arrived really quickly and about five officers came in and cuffed his hands behind his back and took him outside.
“Success admitted that he had paid us for sex.
“But he also claimed we’d cheated him out of the cash, without mentioning the reason why he didn’t have sex.
“All this commotion was more than the hotel management could take and they ordered us out of the hotel — including him.
“It’s a really nice place and I guess this isn’t the sort of behaviour they tolerate.”
The hookers said Success later called his bank and had the payments to them stopped.
Alexis said: “We couldn’t believe it when he accused us of cheating him and got the bank to get him his money back.
“We made a deal and it wasn’t our fault he didn’t have a good time. His behaviour was off the scale.” Success signed for Watford from Spanish side Granada for £12.5million last July — then a record fee for the Hertfordshire club.
He has struggled to make the starting line-up since. He sat out Watford’s 2-0 away win at Southampton on September 9 but went out on the town in London the following day before hooking up with the girls. Alexis and Michaela and another 34-year-old escort were recruited by a fourth hooker, a friend of Success’s.
A Hertfordshire Police spokesman said: “Police are investigating an allegation of assault reported to have occurred at 6.30am at Sopwell House in St Albans on Monday September 11.
“A 21-year-old man was arrested and de-arrested and inquiries are ongoing.”

Mickael2: before that first leg against Algeria we were yet to test the Onazi-Etebo-Mikel partnership but it worked anyways. We know Etebo can do a job as the CMF(better than Ndidi to some extent) and we know Ndidi can do a job as the DMF(definelty better than Onazi), so what's there? You never know if you don't go I'd prefer a good passer to be part of the 3. A fit Joel Obi would be perfect. Onazi/ Ndidi - Joel Obi - Mikel...now that's solid. Onazi - Etebo - Mikel is great if Etebo plays ahead of Mikel while Mikel builds from deep...but we need Mikel's creativity in the final third. You could also argue with Leon as a CB, he could build from deep while Etebo does his thing. |

For me, this Ndidi - Onazi axis will be good if we have another super creative player on the flanks. Iwobi is suppose to be that person but he hasn't been that great as of late. Moses Simon did well against Cameroon but he isn't that creative to me. With another creative outlet out wide, Mikel can always drop back and form a midfield 3 with Onazi and Ndidi when needed to aide distribution from deep. |

Mickael2: And have you watched Hazard's videos? Hazard has a better dribbling accuracy than Ronaldo did in his best season(that's best season in regards to his dribbling ability alone) but do we consider Hazard?
Watch Neymar's dribbling abilities and tell me it wasn't better than Ronaldo's at that age. We have had a lot of Ronaldo-like players and I guess they all should be in that 'genius' bracket according to you Alot of Ronaldo like players like who for example?? Neymar obviously is a better dribbler, but not Hazard. |

Daejoyoung: Christiano Ronaldo is skillfull no doubt, but watch Best of Christiano Ronaldo on YouTube and then compare with best of Ronaldo Delima, Ronaldhino, Messi, and you would see why these guys are football geniuses compared to Ronaldo. I've watched them all and Cr7 is a genius as well. Ambidextrous, great in the air, fast, skillful, super finisher, how many players have all this qualities alone?? Let's not even talk about his first touch which is so underrated. |
Sports › Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by edi287: 5:29pm On Oct 03, 2017 |
Mickael2: when he was doing it back then how many goals did he score? And he did it for 3-4years maximum and he wasn't the kind of guy that would dribble like 6 players and score, he would always isolate just one guy on the wing and destroy the person totally. When we talk Maradona, Pele or Messi(I could add Ronaldinho), we are talking about players that can pick the ball up from the center of the pitch and beat like 6-7 defenders repeatedly before they score. I'd sooner rank Okocha as a football genius before Ronaldo IMO He was scoring more than 20 goals as a winger and let's not forget the season where he scored 42. Cr7 wasn't always the tap in king you guys make him out to be. Like I said, go watch videos of his first 2 seasons at Madrid and come tell me if all he has is finishing. Dude simply adjusted his game to extend his career. Nothing wrong with that. |

Mujtahida: I understand you. There's this extra invincible something, this quite unnameable stuff that marks out great players which Ronaldo doesn't have. Great striker but no magic in him. But I think the difference in perspective on this issue is informed by how long a person has been a football fan and the players one watched in his formative years as a fan. Go to the youtube videos of players like Van Basten and Baggio and read the comments. It's like some of you guys have forgotten the Cr7 of man united and early madrid days. The super skillful one that dribbles past players with ease. I saw someone say apart from scoring, there's nothing cr7 can do that Hazard can't....all I have to say is go and watch old videos of him. People forget so easily |

goldfish80: A natural leader, Matthaus drove and inspired and combined strong, inherently German mental attributes with an unerring quality on the ball. Matthaus was primarily deployed as an attacking midfielder during his time at the San Siro , and from this advanced position he delivered a healthy goals return, scoring at a rate of better than one goal in every three league games. These goals were indicative of Matthaus’ well-honed and all-round game.

goldfish80: Perhaps you know more than Cantona who described this role as thus
(Eric Cantona once famously described the role of Didier Deschamp in the French national team as that of a ‘water-carrier’, the impish implication being that he toiled to win the ball and pass it on to more skillful players, such as Cantona himself, so they could weave their magic).
This is the stereotype about DMs. They simply win the ball and give to more talented teammates. That is why a DM will never win the Ballon d'Or.
Playing that role for years at Chelsea killed Mikel's creative game. You said it yourself some pages ago when we played Cameroun, perhaps for argument sake you want to drag this. Lothar Matthaus... |

Is it the question of Mikel Obi as a legend?
There are four categories of legend as a Nigerian.
1, Football legend
2, Club legend
3, Africa legend
4, National team legend
If you have more to add please add.
Which one is Mikel Obi? 2 & 4. 3 is questionable though he does have the trophy cabinet and afcon performances to make a very strong case |

If you can't name a DM who have been listed top 3 in Ballon d'Or listing the it should indicate to you that the position is not where to you find theost technical players. Lothar Matthaus won the Ballon D'Or as a sweeper/defensive midfielder. Mikel wasn't really much of a destroyer. He was a Regista...I think there was a time Ancelotti or someone compared him to Pirlo. Besides, Mikel did play alongside Essien at times and let's not act like peak Lampard was all about goals. Busquets alone should be a great example of a DM with great technical ability. |
