Oh Olishe, honestly am ardent supporter of local coaches but of recent i realized d foreign ones are far ahead, look at what Rohr is doing presently with d team, playing fatherly role.I had opportunity of meeting Westerhoff sometimes ago and i asked him how did he managed Eagles then and he said all u need is to take them as your children and leave d rest.
Yeah Oliseh might be lacking in the man management aspect, still think he's a great coach and can improve in that area. Unless we can keep Rohr or get another guy like him

I like to think that it's easier to get players that do not appear to be on the radar of the nation(s) at the moment. Ilori's father was born in London though, although a Nigerian decent.

Did Akpoguma ever...?
Yep http://www.allnigeriasoccer.com/read_news.php?nid=21146
Before this, I remember seeing a post of him asking to play for our youth teams on one of our sports site...used to have a screenshot of it. Shame though.

STEPHEN ODEY TRANSFER LATEST: Agent forwards striker’s 2 different passports to FC Zurich, demands cut in deal

By admin -
September 17, 2017

SCORENigeria understands that Franco-Cameroonian agent Olivier Noah has allegedly submitted two different copies of the international passport of Stephen Odey to FC Zurich in a desperate bid to scuttle the transfer.

He has also demanded a percentage from the striker’s transfer to the Swiss club.
The passports carry different ages of the MFM FC star.

Noah was the one who facilitated the botched move to Danish club Midtjylland during which the two passports also surfaced and Odey was branded an age cheat.

“Yes, the boy’s two passports were also sent to FC Zurich, but it seems they are not interested in that,” a source told SCORENigeria

“The handlers of the player had already forewarned them against that and have also attached court papers which have cleared the player of any misdeeds.”

It was further gathered that the rival agent has demanded a percentage from the player’s move to FC Zurich even though he did not broker it.

The agreement between he and the player has since expired, another source informed SCORENigeria

“There is no way he can get anything from the boy’s transfer because he did not facilitate it and moreover, his agreement with the player has since ended,” said the source.

Noah is a persona non grata in Nigeria after a rash of allegations were leveled against him in the transfers of Isaac Success, Kelechi Iheanacho, Wilfred Ndidi, among many other Nigerian players.

That's one of the easiest players we can get regardless lol.

If we really want a challenge, let's go for Akpoguma, Uduokhai, and Solanke
Akpoguma wanted to play for us back in the day. Don't think he does now. Probably still bitter for us not replying him

Iwobi is one time bomb that is going to explode any time soon...
Played central mildfield against cologne..also good at rmf and lmf. .
Watching him play today against Chelsea, all I can say is ...the dude is a baller and always calm with the ball..
Oezil needs to watch his back cool
I don't know why people keep thinking Iwobi can play at CM. He can't. His best position is as a AM/LW. He also didn't play well against Cologne. He was good against Chelsea and worked hard.
Sports › Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by edi287: 8:23pm On Sep 15, 2017
Iwobi can't play as a CM. Infact he was almost released from the Arsenal academy playing as a CM. Don't think he played well yesterday tbh. He needs to pick up or Reiss Nelson will replace him...you know how much the English media love their players. I remember when Ian Wright was angry that Iwobi was benching Ox.

Speaking of a Mikel replacement, I'm surprised no one is talking about Iwobi. Iwobi will be a super 10 in the future. As long as we have a great destroyer(Ndidi, Onazi) and an energetic CM that can build play, we should be good.
Mikel will no doubt be hard to replace sha. Good thing we'll have him around for say another 4-5 years.

Hahahahahah! Ajagun seems to be more of an ATM though he plays as a CMF.

The name on my mind is Raheem Lawal. grin

However, I remembered how Joel Obi made me to enter one of my neighbors house, in mind your business estate, to see him play on his debut after he pledged to play for Nigeria instead of Italy. grin

I will choose Joel Obi ahead of any player any time any day. grin

Honestly, he is got skills, swagger and an eyes for a true pass. grin
That left foot of his is crazy!!! Injuries suppose allow that guy to rest.

I'm not really at ease with them breathing down our backs but we do well under pressure though it would have been better to kill this thing now and use our remaining games for testing some players.
Exactly. Hopefully none of our core guys suffer any major injury. Just one point left!

I hope I never watch Nigeria play this negative. We are bigger and better than that. I believe the late Night out on Friday affected the concentration of the team. Rohr took out the Mikel too early and he gets to learn like other Nigerian coaches. Mikel is the thread that holds that team together.

We need to work on having a replacement for Mikel. Someone with intelligence both on and off the ball. Someone who can see gaps in the field and help plug them.

I feel K. Nwakali should be training with the team. Even if he is not making the final squad. We need him studying Mikel closely.

Grateful to Ezenwa for putting his body on the line to save that goal. That was courageous and earned my respect. Glad he did not injure.
Mikel was getting tired. He always gets subbed around 65 minutes. Maybe he should've left him on for 5 more minutes.

Yeah we do need a CM. I don't trust that Ndidi - Onazi axis.. they should be competing for a place instead of playing together. For now, we should either try out Ogu or move Mikel to CM and play someone like Etebo or Iwobi as a 10 but we need Mikel in the final third...Iwobi is a great 10 but he needs to work on his stamina.
This is definitely an understated problem we have . It was annoying watching the lack of control in the midfield.

Ezenwa had no business going for that ball like that. Inexperience.

But it would not have mattered if we had taken our chances. It was an off-day for Moses. He was too casual and should have done better.

We got punished for our lack of 'clinicalness'.
Yep that lack of killer instinct killed us.

Disappointing. We need a ball playing cm to replace either one of Onazi or Ndidi. Ezenwa has done well over these 2 games but it was a poor mistake for him to make.
Zambia will be difficult, but we should be able to beat them.
