in defence of the EPL, I doubt any other league has produced world class English players. Na English players no dey be world class, no be the league fault grin
Loool I agree with you on that one.

Pep that doesn't wanna let Nacho go without a buyback clause and yet won't play him... is that I should go ask? A coach who is about selling one of Europe's most lethal forwards yet he complains about Goals??

Come on man... I will pass... I will rather go talk to Dr Q to get more info on my next science project.... cheesy
Does that change the fact G Jesus is a better player?? Pep wanting a buy back clause means he's a better player than G Jesus?? Then why did he sign G Jesus in the first place if Nacho is better and is rated higher??

What impact has Gabby J had? Really... what??

He taps in goals and you call that impact? Looollll

He starts not because he is better but because Pep doesn't rate Nacho.... Nacho is goals himself... and Pep complains about goals... what a hypocritical statement from Pep... cheesy

Nacho has quick feet... I didn't say than Mbappe... I am only saying he does have because you pointed out that he doesnt...

The true balance of qualities between both players will show that Nacho and Kylian are not so far apart at all... but you guys are saying "Nacho doesn't touch Kylian on a lot of skillsets and traits".

Now that is super bias.

Fact is You giving an honest answer to the question of which league is of better quality and competitiveness.... Ligue 1 or EPL??

Nacho has done it in the EPL... banged in 10 league goals before age 20... Martial never achieved that. Rashford is still trying to reach it... Nacho sits in the same company as Rooney, Owen and a few More (not more than five)...

And you bring Ligue 1 stats to rival that.... Fear God Man... cheesy
What impact has Gabriel Jesus had?? Go and ask Pep. Lmaoooo Gabriel Jesus hasn't made an impact...ok oooo.

No need running in circles. Someone posted goals scored on each league and it is clear it is easier to score goals in the Ligue 1 than the EPL. Finito. Bye bye.
Than why is Martial scoring more in his first season?? Please explain that? Is it maybe because he is a talented player who would score regardless of the league he's playing in or not?,

The point never changed. Nacho is deadlier in the box than Gabby. It showed in the games we played. Gabby makes repeated glaring errors. However, Guardiola's philosophy embraces Gabby's pattern.
Nacho is a better finisher, fine. Has Gabriel Jesus made a massive impact since he came to city or not?? Is Nacho a better player than Jesus...Yes or No?

Hahahahahahahahaha... you didn't speak of regular naa... why do you just wanna dodge the question...? cheesy

Even South Korea have world class players... looollll

Bosnia also have... does that make their league super? Sweden have produced world class players... how awesome is their league?

Mehn... just answer the question...
I didn't say regular?? You called Ligue Un a farmers league na.. I could also say you meant it was barely above MLS and the Iranian league since you said they produce world class players as well.
Ligue Un produces more world class french players Tha. Epl produces English players...true or false??

Which league is easier for Martial to dominate? The hype Martial came with from Monaco is dead in the EPL. He is not more than average in the EPL but was a big hype in France.

Looollll... But you overhype Mbappe naa dont you... Looolll

I have watched Mbappe more than enough... But you guys just choose to see what you just wanna see...

Mbappe in Ligue 1 is never on same class as Nacho in the EPL....

Nacho don't have quick feet? Looollll.. It's okay really... Hahahahahahahahaha...

You have refused to answer my question on the quality and competitiveness of both leagues (ligue 1 and EPL).. so plss speak no further...
Nacho has quicker feet than Mbappe?? Yet I'm the biased one?? Lmaoooo ok ooo.
No some of you guys have been trying to discredit Mbappe on here calling him overhyped and what not even when City were willing to pay 36m for him despite not even playing up to a tenth of league football.
But I'm the biased one ooo...not even when you disagreed that G Jesus would bench Nacho when he arrived. Some of you guys don't want to admit the massive impact G Jesus has had since he came in.
Oh well...fact remains fact.

On who is skillful.... I say they both are at par... you have not seen Nacho in his skillful elements because of The style he played at city under pellegrini... Nacho is bloody skillful... His games in the US at 17 showed that...

Na only passing you credit Nacho with... you didn't mention His Vision, his strength, his stamina, his Quick feet and quick turns of directions to pick out a teammate when on the ball...

His knack for defence splitting passes...

You are not being specific About Nacho because you don't rate him... Mbappe is some god to you... how classic!
I have watched clips of Nacho in the U17 tourney and I'm sorry he is not on par with Mbappe. This isn't even an argument. Go watch Mbappe clips with the French youth team. I've always credited Nacho passing and vision on here. Quick feet?? Seriously?? How many times have you watched Mbappe??
I rate Nacho, I just don't overhype him like some of you guys do on here.

Ibra was bossing the French league without breaking a sweat, even he had to quit the mediocre opposition. Ibra did not start his career in the French league, he was world class before PSG. Using him as a standard is ridiculous.

Why don't we use the much hyped Martial for example, how far with that Monaco gem? Still dribbling into nothingness? Oh, wait, he's on the list of World best already?

Oh, yes! He's no longer "The New Henry", that's Mbappe these days, and once Mbappe leaves Ligue1 to the EPL, heaven knows which Monaco teenager will take that crown next season grin
Martial scored more in his first season at Man united than he ever did at Monaco. True or false??

let me use a term one of our threadmates here used a while ago. Compared to the EPL defenders, Ligue1 is filled with 'backwater defenders' grin grin

You want to mention Benzema here? The Ligue1 of Benzema'a time, is not the Ligue1 of these days. The champions of the Ligue1 of these days let in 6 goals after taking a 4-goal lead previously. Such shitty defending
Ligue un is better than back in 07 - 09. Koscienly, Varane, Umtiti, Sagna have come from Ligue un. France have some of the most talented youngsters around and most are coming from Ligue un.

Good.... but one with more technical giftedness.... You cannot but spot the difference in Nacho's 9 and Mbappe's 9.... this is why I don't normally wanna start comparing both players... But Sir Mickael started it.... sad

And when you do compare... do so with same run of games.... Mbappe has had a smooth run of games... Nacho has not. Even from last season...
Nacho is a better passer. Mbappe is more skillful, faster, better ball control and is as clinical if not more clinical, better off the ball movement.

18-year old Mbappe playing for his home team will be used, he also has more playing time.

25 goals most of which are from Ligue1, that league English fans like to say is filled with peasant farmers grin.

Let us kukuma bring 19-year old Onyekuru to the argument, since we are going to start comparing players performances for leagues even though some are clearly ahead in quality.

Onyekuru v. Mbappe, who is better? We must sha reach that 1k milestone this night. God bless whoever started this argument grin grin

At Uefa u-19 last year, he played LW.... I know... but right now, he is predominantly a number 9. His alternate positions are just there... he is a 9.

Chikena.
Mbappe isn't just a 9. He can play as a LW/RW and as a SS as well.

and you know this how? I never knew Monaco is now Real Madrid or Barcelona level, it is just another team in the average league one.

Just because they put in a good UCL performance this season doesn't make the Monaco team extraordinary. You think Mbappe would have seen playing time in City?

Do you guys even reason why City has a buy-back clause for Nacho? When has City ever put a buy-back clause for their players? You think they don't know what Kelechi is capable of? You think they don't think he is of a high standard?

18-year old Kelechi already had an award for CAF Most Promising Talent, he didn't even need to score a UCL goal then to get such an award even though his predecessors were at least 6 years older. What has 18-year old Mbappe won apart from a ridiculous price tag?
18 year old Mbappe scored 25 goals and 11 assists with a goal every 98 minutes and 0.92 goals per 90 IN HIS FIRST SEASON. Only Raul has scored more in the ucl at his age...look at the teams he scored against. Only R9 and Rooney have had a better impact at that age. Facts.

Please, Gabby has made some glaring errors in front of goal. He is not lethal in the box. What makes the young star Precious is his play outside the box. The way he drifts to the wings, drops deep to defend and connects with the midfield.

I personally feel we made a mistake not utilizing Nacho this season. He is out most lethal player upfront. Even Guardiola agrees. Manchester City created the most chances this season in the EPL but failed to bury loads. I have no doubt that Nacho in front of those chances would have improved our position on the table.

Guardiola said he wants to buy goals but here we are selling Nacho, a true definition of goals.
We agree G Jesus is better allround than Nacho. Besides, G Jesus is not that bad a finisher you are painting him out to be. Nacho is a better finisher but the difference isn't that big. G Jesus can create a goal out of nothing better than Nacho. That's obvious to anyone who has watched both extensively.

Wait so it is iheanacho who has not slotted in seamlessly, again you have to understand batshuayi was hot shit in marseille, came to Chelsea and barely saw minutes, ligue 1 and EPL is not the same thing..if iheanacho were in a team in a good competition like the champions league as a regular he would stun the world...what this boy has achieved as a youth in England experience epl strikers can only dream of...you think it's easy to have the best goal to game ratio in the history of epl and mind you he has scored quality goals in the UCL and for the SE all this without sufficient game time makes him proven in the eyes of epl bosses at just 21, let mbappe come and do what he has done then we can argue
Iheanacho would not have gotten into the Monaco first 11 at 18. Let's be honest!! Mbappe is one of the most talented 18 year old since R9, rooney and Messi. Nacho is talented, but Mbappe is just better
