Lewandowski is a big target man who can also run in behind the defence and possesses great technique and vision similar to how Zlatan was when he was younger. Don't understand this argument as essentially he is the sort of striker we need based on how we play at the moment.
A target man isn't essentially only about heading knock downs and having great hold up play. He can also be a great playmaker like Benzema.

Am I? LOL!

See..... no one is hating on anyone or any Player, coz I believe that's where you are definitely heading to. Did you even know the Reason for the Comparison? I doubt it!

Football is known as a Factor that's uniting us in this Country, however if the Factor is gradually failing to unite us, then there is really a big Problem.

We should be more friendly with our Approaches and counter-arguments on this Thread, as well as do away with "He hates him" Nonsense.

What "we" that some of you are termed as "Haters" are saying is; we should stop over-hyping our Stars because they ain't there yet. And that's the Reason I brought in Mbappe who is 18yrs old and already a world recognized Talent.

We should give our Stars chance to prove their respective Talents..... they have huge Potentials, but fulfilling the Potentials and becoming great Players from Africa Soil is what we are asking for!

You can't become a great Player by siting in the Bench, playing in a low League or plying your Trade in the Asian Continent.
Clearly there's a misunderstanding. I replied because I thought you were implying Onyekuru didn't get a work permit because he was african or whatever. My apologies.

Isaac Success is also an EU Citizen before he moved to Watford?! Iheanacho..... I guess is also an EU Citizen before he was signed by Man City?!

I really don't understand why some of you won't take time to study a Scenario before jumping on Board to defend the indefensible out of Favoritism.

Have you heard of Exceptional Talent Clause to get Work Permit in UK?! Kindly do some Homework on it pls. It won't hurt you.
So why did he bring up the Mbappe comparison and not Iheanacho or Mikel?? Did Onyekuru play in any youth competition like Iheanacho and Mikel?? Is the Jupiler league a top 5 league in europe like the La liga?? Do you honestly think it makes sense to compare a EU citizen case like Mbappe to that of Onyekuru? Wasn't Issac Success Watford's most expensive player??
You yourself need to stop jumping into conclusion

Onyekuru is signed by Everton but will be loaned out to Anderlecht. The Question is; why can't he secure the Work Permit through Exceptional Talent?!

Or you think if Mbappe is signed by any of the EPL Clubs, he won't secure the Work Permit through the same Channel?! Remember Mbappe is younger to Onyekuru.

It's a Pity you could come this Low just to shade Forgiveness, and it's more pitiable for a Veteran on this Thread to back up the Gibberish.
Mbappe is an eu citizen and Onyekuru isn't?

I just finished watching Nacho's goals for man city and they are all basically one touch goals that is tappings. Now get me right am not saying they are not goals but they are simpler to score because they only require positioning which has a lot to do with luck ( because to anticipate you guess and that could be wrong or right)
Nacho has the Ronaldo kind of hype - all about goals but he can do better as evidenced in the goal he scored against Southampton from outside the box but playing him as a striker makes him almost static. when I say static in this sense I mean a striker sometimes goes to midfield to make space for runners from deep and that can give him the space to do what I think he can do best well, that is taking curling shots from around the eighteen yard box
In summary I think Nacho's best position is the AMF/SS where he can show his total talent and also make those runs for the tappings as well
It depends on the midfield and who he has to play with in the front 3. He does well with a fluid front 3 where he can interchange with the other wide players. If he has a good midfield and is playing in a front 3 with say Onyekuru/Iwobi/Musa and Moses, I think he'd do well.

Iheanacho is the best finisher we have in this team...anyone who thinks otherwise is deluded.
I never watched Nacho at the U17s, but at this moment, he is simply a number 9. That was the position he played in city's youth teams.
He is now a 9 and needs to work more on his game.

Do you understand what you are sayinghuh

That to play for Nigeria you must take abuse, denigration, accept nepotism, unprofessionalism, spend your money and if possible loose your career as well as your life.

I recall when Nigeria went to go and play Sudan in Khartoum and the plane chartered was in such obvious visual disrepair. That Enyeama broke down and cried even offered to hire another plane with thier own money. It was construed to be insubordination by the powers that be.

The way Aluko has been treated does not represent a good example and inspiration to attract players to play for the SE.

To accept unwholesome behaviour by officials is not sacrifice but acceptance of wrong. It's like saying because police always ask for bribe it is sacrifice to give it.

Sone Aluko stood up for uncompromising integrity and was penalised and pushed aside as a result. More disturbing is that nobody in position of authority said anything thier silence has been complicit consent.

At one stage I thought you resided here in Manchester but I know I am totally wrong. Your views reflect a warped mindset that accepts corruption as normal and should be accepted as part of national sacrifice.

Well I will not without apology and will rather pay the price for integrity.
Isn't Sone Aluko's dad a senator or something?? He should be raising issues like this up and make sure NFF funding is cut till they address the nonsense

Conservatives blaming "anti trump rhetoric" for this are being crazy...when two Indians were shot in Kansas by a guy spewing anti islam insults, why didn't anyone blame Trump?? How about the countless times we've heard stories of kids of color getting bullied with Trump remarks in school?? This is an unfortunate event and democrats have come out and condemned it. Let's stop pointing fingers.

Politics › Re: What Is Biafra Exactly? by edi287: 12:33pm On Jun 12, 2017
Biafrans are not the victims they claim to be. Yes what happened to igbos during the pogrom and the Civil war was unfortunate, but I find it funny that people don't talk about what Biafran soldiers did to the people of SS. They tried to force them to join Biafra and when they refused they killed their chiefs and raped their women.
Funny thing is now, Nnamdi Kanu STILL insists on lumping them together with Biafra.. he hasn't learnt from the mistakes of the civil war.
I am Igbo but I'll never fall for IPOB propaganda. Do your research and you'll see the truth. The problem this country faces is the elite class.

This is exactly what I have tried to communicate to TheGoodJoe. Funny enough, Rantie was the closest I saw to Suarez not Kelechi.

I expected to see Kelechi try to get closer to Etebo and sometimes even switch positions, allowing Etebo or even Ndidi the space to run behind him from deep which would inevitably destabilise the South African organisation at the back.

If Kelechi had dropped a bit deeper, Etebo/Ndidi would have had the space to make untracked runs from deep inside the Nigerian half. I can tell you CBs don't like dealing with those kind of runs. Box to box midfielders like Vidal, Lampard,Pogba trive on this sort of situations.

Kelechi playing off the shoulder of the last defender, waiting for an inch perfect through ball was not a wise move because those through balls will always appear over hit, under hit and definitely make the passer look stupid with the organized defence of the South Africans. And Khune well stationed in goal to play the sweeper role.

Someone who didn't play the game won't understand that the defensive setup made those passes look bad.
Good points. Nacho's game isn't as welk rounded as some would think. Remember the article someone posted here about the reason Pep started benching him? I think he can play as a 9, but he needs the right setup. Honestly think he'll do well with Iwobi as a 10 and Mikel on CM. The 4-3-3 we played with the midfield we had does not suit him one bit.

Is it me or did Rohr adapt to lone striker in front? Hw many times will we av to learn that 4.4.2 is our formation and that Iheanacho is not a 9. For crying out loud we have Onyekuru and iheanacho and Kayode as strikers. What was the plan? Make iheanacho draw defenders so that etebo can score? Playin lone striker is a thing of Pep Guardiola not super Eagles. Very disappointed @ the coach. Frankly, u need the physicality of John ogu in the middle of the park. The game plan for today is so inexplicable ... even the subs. It was so obvious on the pitch today that we lacked leadership.
That would've made sense if we had someone who could dictate play from deep. Unfortunately neither Onazi or Ndidi can do that. Ogu should've started with Mikel not around. Rohr should've taken a risk and started Onyekuru.

Starting a midfield 3 of Ndidi - Onazi - Etebo wasn't a wise idea. Iwobi should've played as a 10 with someone like say Onyekuru on the wing. We missed Mikel and Vic Moses no question. No need to panic. 5 more games left. We have to get a result at SA.
