saintandsinnerz: With due respect i will say that Keshi is handling the Super Eagles unprofessionally! There are some players he practically shut the door at without any cogent reason. And again, there are some he keeps inviting who practically does not have any business with the national team. He is very vindictive, hence i wonder why he has refused to invite players like Joseph Yobo, Lukeman Haruna, Sone Aluko, Dele Adeleye etc. These players play regular football for their respective clubs in Europe! The most surprising was him not inviting Yobo in recent times despite the form he has shown in Europe and the Turkish superliga! I will prefer the experience of Yobo over the likes of Egwuekwe, Okwuosa and co. By shutting the door on Yobo as a result of the comment he made is the height of unprofessionalism. Since when did expressing an opinion prevents one from the national team? The truth is that Keshi has biase against some certain players and a soft spot towards some others and that will be anathema to the growth of the national team in future. Let merit be the basis of national team invitation!

Okwuosa and Egwuekwe are yet to show me why Keshi picks them over Yobo. Victor Moses, Emenike, Onazi and mikel are the only thing Bailing him out, not Mba or any of these home based players like he's trying to make us believe.

Haruna for me is better than mba and ogu. I guess the only explanation Keshi has for benching him is that Mikel and Onazi are playing in his position. But that doesnt explain why Mba is been picked ahead of him. Keshi probably doesn't like him.

Messi can play on the wings, as a striker and as a midfielder. CR7 can only play on the wing, he cant even strike. Personally i'd take iniesta over cr7 any day of the week.

ALGAMISH: Is obvious the author of this write up does not know Football. How is R9 a failure in europe? Till date R9 is the most succesful striker in europe. Please go and check his records at PSV, BARCELONA, INTER, MADRID and MILAN. I like CR7 especialy for his can do attitude and that is what makes him what he is today. In terms of talent and completeness as a player he can't be among the all time top 10

Ronaldinho was a better passer, WAY more skillful and a lil more versatile. CR7 may score more goals and is better on the air, but ronaldinho at his peak was way way better than him. All these goals are blinding people.

Flamini is way better than song defensively. We dont need song's passes with carzola and ozil in the team. We have mertsacker, koscienly and vermalean as cb, gibbs and monreal as lb, sagna and jenkinson as rb. Heck flamini can play as a right back and sagna as a dm. Ozil is an upgrade on both wilshere and rosicky. Koscienly is better than all man u defender bar vidic.

Finally we have a replacement for cesc. I've always preferred carzola playing at left wing cutting in. For all you guys saying we don't need ozil clearly dont watch arsenal enough. Its very easy to shut us down with carzola playing in the middle cos walcott and poldi aren't that creative and we've also won more matches when carzola played on the left. The ozil-carzola combo will be as good if not better than cesc and nasri combo. Theo will also benefit from ozil's through balls.
Wish we signed a striker though....looks like wenger will play poldoski more as a striker.
P.S only a fool would compare isco to ozil. Ozil is the best 10 in the world....even mou said so.
