One can now imagine what the people of Borno state has been suffering. You wonder how people in some parts of that state sleep. Yet I don't see much put in place to stop this aggression.

How can a sovereign state explain the fact that a community within its territory is rased by fire, properties stolen repeatedly over the years and yet it has not been put under control.

I think because there is no money there to tap. We are good in protecting money but not people. The way banks are guided and the escorts that follow money, you will agree with me that if 50% of such effort is put into guiding and protecting our country and her citizens.......America may even use us as a positive case study.

Whenever I see how security agents beat and humiliate their fellow citizens on the road I weap... I do feel ashame because I know how Europeans and Americans security agencies value and respects their citizens in news or movies. They talk respectfully, but here someone will be talking to you as if you are a slave.

This is the picture of our state now. I wish I can outline what we can do to change this situation. Maybe we can start from respecting one another.
