EducationRe: The Best Engineering Course To Study In Nigeria? by EdoBoy90(m): 1:09pm On Jun 19, 2018
First, I studied Mechanical Engineering with a good grade by God's grace. When it comes to the industries like chemical industry, Brewery industry, oil and gas, manufacturing etc Electrical and electronics, Machatronics(Now and future, when we talk of automation, robotics, AI etc), and mechanical engineering are leading. Having worked in one of the chemical companies and checked adverts from companies like Shell, Mobil, Dangote, Sabmiller or AB InBv, etc the above are leading.

My friend studied EEE but today he is with one of the telecom companies in Nigeria, foreign and multinational one. I have a professor who studied EEE but he later did electronics and telecommunication Engineering. He is also a software consultant.

EEE will present to you with various opportunities across all industries Include mechanical and mechatronics.

Software engineering and information and telecommunication engineering are still good. When you study EEE at undergraduate level, you can still do your MSc in Software engineering or information and telecommunication engineering. The two are good for the future.

As far me, I will choose EEE which will give me Opportunities in Software engr or information and telecommunication engr and mechanical engr where you can also do your MSc in Mechatronics.

Largely, mechanical engineering is the broadest discipline in engineering and you have a lot of areas to specialise more than any engineering discipline on Earth. You can also be a software engineer as a mechanical Engineer in areas like AI, robotics and automation. AI, robotics and automation are all electromechanical.

Some people are just brainless inside professionalism.

Pls Mr. Seun, you need to sack some mods here because they don't know what to take to FP. Just bring in new mods and they will do the job perfectly with less pay.

Politics2019 Election: APC Or PDP Not Our Problems by EdoBoy90(op): 10:41am On Jun 15, 2018
Fellow Nigerians,

As 2019 general election is fast approaching, it is shouldn't be neither PDP nor APC but individuals with good political pedigree and vision across all geopolitical zones ( south south, South East, South West, North East, North West And North Central) in Nigeria maybe it political, cultures, tribes, ethnicity and religions. As I have said umpteenth times, PDP or APC is not our problems but our representives or candidates that represent us in each political parties. PDP or APC is just a name formed by a group of people. It is not constant because it can be changed or goes into political oblivion. Don't forget we had ACN, CPC, SDP etc as political parties before. Today they are no more.

So, take APC and PDP away from it. It is high time we should start supporting individuals not political parties. These have failed over the years. This is what real democracy stands for. This is what American Democracy we imported or borrowed stands for.

I support individuals not political parties any more. If you want me to campaign for, you have to tell me your vision, plan and roadmap for the people. The people first before money. The reason why Nigeria is existing it is because of the people not money. People make money not money makes people. Why you want to contest for that particular position. Election is not money but the people. What do you have for the people?

I am the Astute Political Engineer.

Please your contribution is needed here for 2019 Election.

Technology is the advancement of life. ICT rules the world.

We are still lagging behind than Malaysia, Singapore and China we were at the same stage of development together or Nigeria was ahead of some.

Jobs/VacanciesRe: A First Class Grad. Nigeria Youth Speaks Her Mind Seek For Job Offer On Twitter by EdoBoy90(m): 6:55pm On May 04, 2018
tunemike:
I am also a first class graduate of biochemistry. Still looking for job. First class is overrated. It won't give you your dream job on a platter of gold.
.

Pomposity is one of their problems. They don't want to start low or from some where.

The corporate or business world is different from the academic world. This is one thing they don't know. You start from some where as nodody then rise to the top as someone or manager tomorrow. Where you start from doesn't matter, it is where you are going that counts.

You can't be a First Class Graduate and becomes a manager or supervisor in any organisation when employed , you have to start from somewhere with low pay and acquire EXPERIENCE. In the academic world, First Class counts but in the corporate world, it is EXPERIENCE that counts. EXPERIENCE will make you to be a Manager or supervisor and companies prefer or want to hire those with EXPERIENCE.

Albert Einstein said, "EXPERIENCE is the only true source of knowledge."

No Amount of certification can replace EXPERIENCE, integrity and a willingness to learn. EXPERIENCE is the acquisition of knowledge and skills in the academics and corporate or business world.

Jobs/VacanciesRe: 10 Ways To Reduce Unemployment In Nigeria by EdoBoy90(m): 5:18pm On Apr 15, 2018
[quote author=modernWays post=66733339]God bless you sir.

Industrialisation is the only key to economic development. But here in Nigeria we are talking about youths going into farming, CBN loan etc.

Priotize science and technology and give us 24 hours uninterrupted power supply and see the meaningful ecomonic development.

Nice one Sir.

We will keep on to remain in the dark for years if we refuse to priotize science and engibeering.

No Engineering, No Industrialisation. No Science, No digitalisation.

Digitalisation began with Michael Faradays, Thomas Edison and Nikola Tesla. Others are now championing digitalisation to the next stage.

OP failed to mention Engineering and science. These two industrialised any nation and reduced unemployment rate.
Jobs/VacanciesRe: 10 Ways To Reduce Unemployment In Nigeria by EdoBoy90(m): 4:39pm On Apr 15, 2018
Good points OP to reduce unemployment...

Engineering, Science ( Medicine, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry) , ICT, Innovation, and Design Develop A Nation More. These are the top priorities for national development and to reduce unemploment in any nation. Israel, South Korea, japan, china etc are industrialised because they give topnotch priorities to the above.

Any Serious Nation Must Give Priority To the Above.

Nigeria Is Lagging Behind Because The Goverment Failed To Give Topnotch Priority To The Above.

We Will Get It Right When We Do The Right Thing.

History Is Silver While Science Is Gold. Engineering Is The Transformation of The World While Technology Is The Advancement Of Life.

No Engineering, No Development. No Science, No Progress. Science and engineering rule the world right from the days of Sir. Isaac Newton, Michael Faradays, Euclid of Alexandria, Galileo Galilei, Nikola Tesla, Charles Darwin, Aristotle, Archimedes, Marie Curie,Albert Einstein, Thomas Edison( General Electric has created Jobs for many across the globe), Pythagoras up till now science and enginering are still ruling and will continue to rule the world, Elon Musk, Mark Zuckerberg, Bill Gates etc.

Those who are into science and engineering are given top priority in Israel, US, South Korea, Japan, China, North Korea etc...

Where is this facility Abuja or Lagos or which company?
Car TalkRe: How To Clean Fuel Injectors by EdoBoy90(m): 9:06am On Mar 30, 2018
Thanks Op. But fuel injectors consist of
1) Solenoid
2) Needle
3) Nozzle.
4) O - ring. I just added this to your write up.

The best way of cleaning fuel injectors is using Ultrasonic Injector Cleaning Machines. Unfortunately, I have found such a machine in Nigeria..

almost all the universities are requesting for transcript upload... my school send transcript direct to any organization requesting for it and not direct to student.

i have not apply for transcript, what can i do now?
am applying for MSC
.

Young man, the brain is given to you to use. Use your brain and get the transcript on your palm.

It is very easy. Tell your school that where you are working want to sponsor you for MSc and they need your transcript and then give your school your office address, they will forward it there. If you are not working, use your friend's organization and give them the address. Go there and collect transcript and clean mouth. No time to waste.

OP, You Lied In Your Mode Of Transportation. In that area, don't compare Abuja and Lagos. Abuja mode of transportation is very organised and decent. No Touts or Agberoes. Good road network in Abuja than Lagos...

When I was in Lagos, I woke up 4am to work and got home in 11pm but here in Abuja I walk up 6:30am to work then get home 6.00pm or 6:30pm
Op, before you say anything, I have experience in both places

Google is your friend. Why should some graduates couldn't do simple research?

Having 12 companies under one umbrella doesn't make you the largest. Rate of turn over, number of cars produce each year and your ground.

Here, we are not arguing about technology but largest car manufacturer in the world.

Hold your google tight, you will see Toyota there as number 1
