PoliticsRe: “Supreme Court Order” Versus “Presidential Address”: Which One Supersedes? by EdoBoy90(m): 7:14am On Feb 17, 2023
Oga Mr. President will issue an order and you will be arrested, Heaven will not fall. Supreme Court will not do anything. Mr. President has executive immunity. The Judges at Supreme Court don't have immunity. You want DSS to open their files right? You want Mr. Malami Abubakar to sack them right? You want Mr. President to sack them right?

You just wrote thrash here.

DeLaRue:
All the powers of the President derive from and are provided for by the constitution.

That means all the actions of the President must comply with the constitution and the laws passed by the National Assembly.

So, the current issue is a constitutional issue, which only the Supreme Court can decide. It has to decide whether the President acted within the powers conferred on him by the constitution and laws.

The reason a country has a supreme court (and indeed other courts) is to ensure that the Executive ie., the President, Governors, Ministers etc do not misuse their powers against us, the people.

There is a reason Mr Buhari cannot issue an Executive Order for you to be arrested. That's because the constitution does not give him the power to misuse his orders like that.

Without courts like the Supreme Court, most Presidents would become dictators.

The people must guard the supreme court's authority jealously and not allow any President destroy it for their own personal interest.

PoliticsEach Presidential Candidate Stronghold by EdoBoy90(op):
A stronghold is a region, place or zone where a candidate for an election has an edge over other candidates. Many factors that determine this are religion, tribe or political influence, etc. Every region in Nigeria votes based on tribalism, religion or money through vote buying.

Most Nigerians are suffering for the past 7 years. Sincerely, they don't have likeness for the ruling party. The current naira and fuel crisis is causing a devastating effect on the ruling party. The Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN) has directed members to suspend all operations, this means more crisis coupled with the naria issue.

The following are.the stronghold of each Presidential Candidates.

Mr. Peter Obi for LP=South South and South East.

Sen. Bola Ahmed Tinubu for APC=South West.

Alhaji Atiku Abubakar for PDP/ Sen. Musa Kwankwaso for NNPP=North West and North East.

Any candidate with 25% of votes in the other presidential candidate's stronghold will coast home victoriously.

Please forget President Muhammadu Buhari. He is not advantageous to any candidate.

Kindly do a thorough SWOT analysis to certain the chances of the Presidential Candidate you are supporting or you will vote for.

Please remove sentimental and bias analysis.

Come oh, Is this naira scarcity not a plan to scuttle elections to let Buhari remain in office?

Think of it, with this pain inflicted will Nigerians not finally break out in revolt then they would declare state of emergency and use the opportunity to postpone election.

Una see dis plan?

Even in PPP, FG is entitled to own 40 or 45%. I think you need to read local content law or trade law

You are the one that is stupid for allowing a whopping 75% to go to a Chinese company. Thats a bad deal dump fvck

Don't mind him. Even in the trade law or act or Local Content Law, FG should own 40 or 45%. Some of them are too sentimental because of political affiliation or support. They are destroying the country with their actions and inactions which lack elementary logic and reasoning.

Foreign AffairsAfrica Needs Nuclear For Power Generation, Not For Nuclear Weapons by EdoBoy90(op): 7:31pm On Jan 26, 2023
Nuclear Energy for power generation that is for electricity produces zero-carbon emissions. In fact, it is the cleanest energy apart from the radiative waste among the various sources of energy. Research is on going to develop the technology to manage nuclear waste effectively. Existing nuclear power plants are working on nuclear fission where heavy atoms are splitted to create energy. It is reliable and sustainable. The recent research breakthrough in Nuclear fusion by the researchers at the National Ignition Facility at the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory in California where they attained net energy gain by shooting lasers at hydrogen atoms and the energy crisis in Europe, professionals with expertise in Nuclear Energy, Nuclear Physics and Nuclear Engineering will be sorted for in the future. France, China, Japan and other European countries are considering building more Nuclear power plants and upgrading existing ones. They have started reviewing existing laws that limit Nuclear development. Nuclear Fusion involves smushing two atoms (often two hydrogen atoms) together to create a new element (often helium), in the same way that stars creates energy. In that process, the two hydrogen atoms lose a small amount of mass, which is converted to energy according to Einstein’s famous equation, E=mc².

Due to the energy crisis and global warming caused by fossil fuels, Nuclear Energy for power generation is a sustainable and clean energy. The world is pursuing zero-carbon emission sources of energy, Nuclear Energy will play a key role in limiting global temperature below 1.5°C when properly harness. Most countries are now turning into nuclear energy for power generation. Therefore, the career prospect will be highly promising in the future.

Nuclear energy has advantages over solar and wind energy such as sustainability and reliability. When there is no sun shine and wind blow, solar panels and wind turbines can't generate much energy to power your homes, machines and other appliances. During this period, solar panels and wind turbines become inefficient. Nuclear power can stand all weather conditions.

LP will try in Edo State. Edo State is PDP traditional home.

APC can't win Edo State due to Buhari's factor such as lowest economic parity among Nigerians, poverty, economic hardship, inflation, insecurity and Hunger. At the market, price of foodstuffs are too expensive.
PoliticsRe: 18 States Where Atiku May Lose This Presidential Election by EdoBoy90(m): 10:29am On Jan 26, 2023
We have saved your posts. You didn't include Buhari's hardship, 133 poor Nigerians, fuel crisis, 20m out-of-school Children, unemployment rate of over 33%, lowest economic parity among Nigerians, insecurity and economic crisis we are facing currently. A very biased post away from reality.

Useless post away from reality.

PoliticsRe: One Factor That Will Give Tinubu A Massive Victory by EdoBoy90(m): 4:23pm On Jan 25, 2023
I have saved this your analysis. After February 25, we will visit it again to check if it happens.

Because I know for sure, your candidate can't win NW, NC and NE. North will always vote their son.

We warned GEJ in 2015 about the North and he didn't listen. We are still warning again and you don't want to listen.

I wish you the Best. February 25 is 30days from now, just month day. No need for speculations. Reality is fact.
PoliticsMr. Peter Obi Or Sen. Bola Ahmed Should Step Down For One by EdoBoy90(op): 12:18pm On Jan 19, 2023
It is either Sen. Bola Ahmed Tinubu steps down for Mr. Peter Obi or Mr. Peter Obi steps down for Sen. Bola Ahmed Tinubu, else Alhaji Abubakar Atiku will become the next President of Nigeria due to the disunity in South (South-South, South-West and South-East).

Even Sen. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso will vote for Atiku when the time comes. No Northern Governor or person is attacking Alhaji Atiku Abubakar the way Southerners are attacking either Mr. Peter Obi or Sen. Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The North is united when it comes to Elections. The South is not united.

I wonder why some ignorantly lump up North as one region and Hausa/Fulani

We have NorthCentral, NorthWest and NorthEast in the North with 17 States, Over 50 over 10 major language and Tribe

Kogi, Kwara, Benue, Abuja are all North and that doesn't mean all of them would simply vote just one party
.

19 states not 17 states
PoliticsSummary of Peter Obi, Atiku and Tinubu Chances by EdoBoy90(op):
The North is Alhaji Atiku's stronghold. Tribe and religion are favoring Atiku in the North already.

Mr. Peter Obi has already conquered South South and South East. This is also PDP traditional home before now.

So far, I don't know how Sen. Bola Tinubu will win this Presidential election except is followers are blind. In the North, there is massive decamping to PDP already. In South West with most Men of God and Churches, Muslim Muslim ticket is working against Sen. Bola Ahmed Tinubu already. In the South West, Mr. Peter Obi's factor will make it difficult for Sen. Bola Ahmed Tinubu to win with a wide margin, coupled with Muslim Muslim ticket and President Buhari's factor which is very bad with high level of hunger, insecurities and inflation affecting Nigerians.

My fear is for Sen. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso not to step down for Alhaji Atiku Abubakar. If he does, Atiku chances are very high.

This election is between Mr. Peter Obi and Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.
