PTDF doesn't try for this year's selection process. Something that can be done in less than a week is taking them to eternity. They computerized the entire selection process and all that is required to shortlist applicants is just a click. But don't know why the delay. And they are expecting people to start September session. Many will be left with only option to defer the scholarship. From all indication, the list may not even come out this week and next week is August. Kai! Nigeria for us. We pray to be among the successful applicants in the end.
.

It isn't just a click. Forget this computerization thing here. Now human input my brother.

How wish they would give some of you such
to run, as diesel cost, you will pay with your money.

Working in a place, each diesel generator, Cummins or CAT uses nothing less than 3000 litres per day. These ones don't run frequently since they are to support the main GEN when the load is very high. One even used more than 5000 litres per day on 24 hrs operation.

So, the Professor might be right.

The North will never allow themselves to be misled a second time and suffer hunger and insecurity for another 8 years. The North feels the pain all of us feel.
.

Who caused the hunger and pain for 8 years? It is Buhari-led APC Government. Therefore, the intelligent people won't vote for APC-Led Presidential Candidate.

2023 Presidential Election is between Alhaji Abubakae Atiku and Mr. Peter Obi.

Politics / After Buhari Movement, Next Movement Is Atiku Movement In The North. by EdoBoy90(m): 11:21am On Jul 21, 2022
If you think that your candidate will win Atiku in the North, then you are joking.

Let us go back to history briefly. In 2011, after the formation of ACN in less than a year, Major-General Muhammadu Buhari won more states in the North than the sitting President, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan. Why did GEJ won the Presidential election? He won because of the alliance he had with the South West, already South South and South East voted for him. This was how he got the bloc votes to become the President.

In 2015, GEJ never had such alliance. South West didn't vote for him, and the crisis in the party and the economic challenges affected him also.

Back to reality about 2023, Buhari movement is no longer there. This movement will collapse into a new movement. Even in the South West, with Osun State election, APC can't win all the states there and plus Peter Obi's Factor. Religion will also play a key role in this election because they started the religious issue by choosing same candidates from same religion.

2023 Presidential Election is between Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and Mr. Peter Obi.

Thank you, so far your analysis has been the most accurate of them all.

APC is already sharing votes with PDP In every South West states, and PDP or NNPP is going to sweep most of the Northern states. So I am wondering how and where Tinubu’s APC will get his votes from. Then we have middle belt which will be swept by Labour Party because of Northern Christian’s already agitating against Muslim-Muslim ticket.

Then we have South East and South South which will be shared between PDP or Labour Party.

So logically, your post is 100 percent accurate.

Yes, he is right

Politics / With Buhari Legendary In Failure, What Would APC Use To Campaign? by EdoBoy90(m): 7:55am On Jul 21, 2022
All aspects of the economy are faced with zero performance. Market indices, insecurity, economic metrics and the wallet of the people determine whether a leader is performing well or not. In all of this, the poorest people are now in Nigeria based on various reports and statistics. Nigeria has been ranked as one of the most terror attack countries in the world and among the most tenth countries with highest inflation rate.

Insecurity, President Buhair-led APC failed woefully. His supporters can't travel on the roads again and many of them have become a victims also. Even President Buhari's village, Daura is not safe also. Kuje Prison in the Capital City of Nigeria, Abuja was attacked. In Kuje, there is Mopol, Air force and Army barracks.

Economy, President Buhari-led failed woefully. Inflation rate is now 18.6% and it is even increasing... Mr. Boris Johnson, Former UK Prime Minister resigned when inflation rate was 9.1%. Those who will attribute into a global issue. Before the "special military operation" in Ukraine by Russia, the Nigerian economy was already nosediving with high inflation rate and other painful challenges. Go to the market, things are very expensive. Even the rich in Abuja are now patronizing local markets.

The exchange rate of 1 dollar to naira is now N620 or above. Even when some of President Buhari's ministers are not performing to expectations, he will remain mute and leave them.

Former President Dr. Goodluck Jonathan, was paying subsidy yet he sold per liter of petrol at N97. Now, President Buhari is even paying a higher price in subsidy and there is crude oil boom globally yet, per litre of petrol is 175 naira in some places and other places it is above 175 naira. Which subsidy Presdient Buhari is still paying different from what Former President Jonathan was paying aftr he told us subsidy was a scam and there was nothing like subsidy. Today, Nigeria is paying subsidy and still buying petrol at a higher price. You might say that Dr. Goodluck Jonathan was a failure. Yes, you are right. We knew this that was why we brought in Major-General Muhammadu Buhari to solve our problems but today, the reverse is now the case. Diesel is N830 per litre, and manufacturers are not finding it easy in business. This high price of diesel in production affects the masses since manufacturere will add the cost to the price of product and service.

Last month, UNICEF reported that the number of out-of-school in Nigeria is now 18.5 million and more than 10 million of these children are from the Northern part of Nigeria where President Buhari hails from. With this figure, in advanced society, many who have resigned. Even though, he can't perform in the whole Nigeria and he is atribalistic President who has been engulfed himself with loop-sided appointments from one section, he should use the same method to reduce the number of out-of-school children from the North he hails from. We are not begging him to perform in the whole Nigeria again but let him perform in his village, Daura in Katsina State. Obviously, his village has been engulfed with high level of insecurities. Just image a sitting president's village!

ASUU is on strike because President never valued education. Right from immemorial, education has been a pivot for sustainable development and progress in any given society. Unfortunately, the reverse is the case. Nigerians will never miss President Buhari.

What would APC use to campaign? Is it to improve the economy or stabilise the economy? If they say that they will improve the economy, then dollar will be above 1000 naira, exchange rate and insecurity further worsen. Stabilisation of the economy, then we should maintain this current Buhari legendary in failure status as enumerated above.

Back to the Presidential Candidate of APC. This will be his major issue in the Presidential Election scheduled on 25th of February, 2023.

1. Poor decision
2. Buhari woeful performance
3. If he loss the election, he should hold President Buhari responsible.
4. The Northerners will always vote their own.
5. Disunity among South South, South East and South West. This won't favour him. He is part of it also.

I wish him the best.

You are very stupid.

You used religion to choose your VP candidate by undermining the Christians. Now, you are telling us that religion doesn't matter but competence. So, no competent Christian in the North right? This is not CAN alone but all Christians in Nigeria.

Leave the Christians out of this. Let us use religion to vote for our candidate.

You don't need the votes of the Christians. We are irrelevant. Why bringing Jesus into this?

Making poor decision is very bad. It hurts in the long run.

I stand firmly with my Pastor, Dr. Paul Enenche. This is not just CAN alone.

SDG 10 of the United Nations is all about reduction of inequalities in the society. Diversity fosters peace and unity. It is inclusiveness; making others have a sense of belonging.

Recently, an undergraduate student approached and asked me, "What would be my advice to him that graduates face after graduation?" I discovered that many graduates lack mentorship over the years I have been in the industry and many don't know how to build good relationships. Good relationships will take you far more than competence. Yes, having the right skills is very good but along the line, also build good relationships. Build good relationships where people can speak for you on your behalf. Whenever they mention your name, they will say, Oh, I am familiar with this name. One day, a lady who I call my Big Sister, not blood related but from same tribe, sent my curriculum vitae, CV to someone. The person told her instantly, I am familiar with this name. Oh! He is my mentee. My Big Sister was surprised. She said to me, 'I am pleased with the level of your network and keep it up.'
This person is in France now, working with one of the leading offshore companies in the world. Information matters a lot. It will take you far. Networking with the right people matters a lot. Don't lose good relationships because of Nigerian politics and politicians. Refuse to be hidden.

The following are very necessary in life. Don't miss out in life due to lackadaisical attitude. Your enthusiasm and determination should be very high in anything you are doing. Don't make that mistakes some persons made in the past.

1. Lack the ability to build and sustain relationships. Try to build and sustain relationships. As you are building skills, accumulating capabilities and competence, build and sustain relationships along it. Don't be quick to delete people's phone numbers even though someone rejected or refused to do something for you, just move on and never keep any grudge. Once in awhile, just say hi.

2. Lack of Mentorship. Reach out to people. It is he who is looking for something should stretch out his hands first. There are always rejections.

3. Lack of Visibility. Visibility matters a lot in life. Are you known or seen among your zone or groups. Let people know you for something good. Let people know you for values. You can be sharing information in any group. Don't worry others are benefiting. Someone is taking cognizance. For instance, when you go to Md Abdullah's LinkedIn page, he is known for sharing scholarships and other academic information.

4. Lack of information: To get information, use google, LinkedIn, Twitter, Nairaland, WhatsApp Groups and your network, the people you are connected with.

5. Ingratitude. Always acknowledge God first and appreciate those in your life. It is not until you needed something, you will now decide to reach out to someone. Life doesn't work that way. Some graduates will fail to appreciate someone. Always appreciate people all the time in life. One day, I did something for someone, a guy. After some weeks, I had even forgotten, the guy, came to say thanks. I was surprised and touched.

Here is a message someone sent to me, he wrote; "The strength of any man is not in his physical might but in the quality of those he has around him. I just want to use this medium to appreciate your impact in me. Words can't express how lucky and privilege I consider myself for having association with someone like you.

I will forever be indebted to you.

Thanks and do have a fruitful week ahead!"

This message moved me. I read it many times. This will make me to do more next time. This is just my personal experience. I said this to affirm that appreciating people matters a lot.

6. Respect, love, loyalty and sincerity are what you owe anyone. They will make you to standout.

Kindly share your opinion in the comment section.
