I don't think that's a problem. The problem should be whether the company ( including the amount of shares) was part of assets declared by him before his appointment. If not, he's culpable. |
Rahym001:Mehn, this is unfair. |
lexy2014:What do you expect me to say? With amount of money being dished out on the social media, it's either they are not properly guided or they've decided to turn a deaf ear to what is happening around them. |
If this government is not careful something bigger than 2012 protest may follow suit. They seem not to be in touch with reality. People are really really suffering and all we keep hearing on the social media is sharing of this and that. May God help us in this 2024. |
One of the reasons the supplementary budget was passed and signed into law was to take care of palliatives, arrears and salaries. It's quite unfortunate that October palliative is being paid in January. It is either somebody is deliberately trying to sabotage this government or the president is not sincere to the people. Meanwhile, the price of things has virtually doubled ever since announcement was made concerning the palliative. |
I get irritated by stories such as this. This is purely an abuse of office by Nigerian police. |
If possible, her husband should equally be investigated. Billions of dollar were deployed all in the name of fighting bokoharam. |
We have not even started. By the time EFCC extends their search lights on former ministers of aviation, attorney General, petroleum etc you would be shocked. |
Smokey5:If you check your account balance and nothing is there, that means they are paying institution by institution. |
35k palliative received, MOUAU, Access Bank |
If all the cabinet members of this present administration have the same mindset as this minister, I don't see why this administration won't do well. So far , he still remains the best. This is what you get when you appoint technocrats and not politicians. Kudos to the minister. |
LudaChriz:MOUAU, access bank, was paid yesterday evening. |
XtraFortunes:Thanks |
webpower84:Thanks |
XtraFortunes:Mine does the same. I sometimes make use of dynadot to check the whois reg/exp date. |
Hadi Sirika, the former Aviation minister and the Attorney General should equally be arrested too. These and many more yet to be unravelled contributed immensely in crippling this country economically. And it's high time EFCC stop chasing yahoo yahoo boys and focus their attention on this 'big fish' |
Kenneth4u205:They may be 'small nyash' but this constant attack if not contained now will affect international trade. Already one of the biggest stakeholders in the global ship industry, Maersk, has directed her members to start using South African route which is longer. The implication is that the cost transporting goods will rise and in turn lead to general increase in prices of goods. A container of goods, according to BBC, has increased to 10,000 usd. We are yet to recover from covid-19 hangover and Russia-Ukraine conflict, and we are already experiencing another problem. The crisis may be far from home but it will definitely affect countries in one way or the othe including Nigeria. |
frog12:400k for someone who has spent close to or more chan 25yrs? |
Testimony1988:Amen! |
Testimony1988:Government is yet to implement it. |
ExudeLoveToAll:The 400k is for senior professors. A newly promoted professor does not earn up to 400k. |
RepoMan007:The 150 is the gross pay without deductions such as tax, union dues, pension, NHF etc. |
nnamdi640:Which allowance? The one government to an extent has refused to honour? |
I've similar statement from another lady. If your husband is good in cooking, there's a tendency your own cooking may not be appealing to him. |
There is more to this. I don't trust Nigerian government. May be this will now lead to university getting her full autonomy and paying her staff. Remember that few weeks ago, this same government wanted 40% of what comes into the University’s purse. Let's not forget the students' loan which will kick off by January. |

I would have loved to hear from an unbiased mind. The person behind that post - Pastor Okezie, is a core APC supporter. Always looking for every means to tarnish either the image of Peter Obi, Atiku, LP or PDP. |
Declan Rice |
Another info.
|
Shady92:I'm not saying it won't be paid. It will take sometime before the salary is paid. Mind you today is 5th November. |
If this information is true then we are on a long thing.
