I'm not sure if it was posted here, but according to brilla . net the NPFL 2019/2020 season was concluded using points per game. Our continental reps next season are Plateau United, Rivers United and Enyimba FC.

I read somewhere else that Kano Pillars gets the fourth spot because they won the confed cup last year, but I'm yet to verify.
It is accurate
This is the official table after PPG

Formation5
Cc Edope..sin
Good formation and I can imagine there will be a lot of passes in midfield, though I will prefer any one of Simon or Kalu for Ejuke

Come to think of how Semi Ajayi got a chance in the SE and has never looked back. Eze and Adarabioyo will be massive additions. Even Onomah. I can remember Omeruo didn’t have a commanding presence in the Championship but still arguably our best CB in tournaments.
Eze and Adarabioyo are more needed in the SE right now, And I really want to see a Ekong-Adarabioyo pairing... It's going to be crazy

Let me tell you something mate, a defensive style can be broken down. No team can maintain solid layers of firewall for the entire duration of a game. The layers develop faults, lapses in recovery e.t.c. If you are positive enough. grin apply enough positive strategy to nullify the negative.
Exactly
What about scenarios where your counter attack is countered cheesy and there are not enough players in the back to close spaces? Defensive minded coaches have to take this into account

It's not just about sitting back and going forward when the opponent loses the ball

Most of the top teams today from all leagues are offensive - possessive sides. So a park bus team is built for oblivion in the long run.
I don't think Atletico have missed out of the top 4 in the past 5 years
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Edopesin: 1:01am On Jul 29, 2020
TheGoodJoe:
Because Simeone knows he is tactically weaker. There is no other way than to sit back in number and hope for chance to win the game.

Why? Because, Klopp pass him.

Against a better manager and coached team, Simeone will accept the superiority and resort to win by parking bus.

All those leave no room to operate is just sugar coating the same approach Worthington FC will give Liverpool. Stay back in number.
Klopp has better players not that he was a better manager or anything

If he was better tactically, he wouldn't have lost home and away to Atletico
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Edopesin: 12:55am On Jul 29, 2020
TheGoodJoe:
Why?

Strategy - offensive is not tactics.

A coach can have an offensive strategy to win which will require using more of his players in an offensive way.

Tactics - you will need the creative midfielders to keep the ball in tight areas, while the full backs pull up to Create numbers, with connecting passes between the forward dropping deep to Create passing lanes to ease passes for the running full backs.

A park bus is a strategy with little tactical actions compared to the offensive strategy.
Liverpool don't have a creative midfield, they only have players there to occupy the position but they still are an attacking team because the rest of the team is creative

Even though park the bus strategy has little tactical actions, not every coach is good at it because it requires other important details that the coach must consider

Norwich started the season with this strategy but soon went into Oblivion, West Ham on the hand use both strategies well and are lethal on their days
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Edopesin: 12:45am On Jul 29, 2020
TheGoodJoe:
Not true. Simeone knows if he goes toe-to-toe with Liverpool they would have smoked him to blazes. So he resorted to park bus.

Strategy - is the bulk of the plan.

Tactics - actions to carry out the plan.

Park bus - general plan to keep all or most players behind the ball. Little tactical actions to carry out the strategy.
When you say toe to toe do you mean playing the same attacking football because that wouldn't have ended well so decided to play on the close spaces and go on the counter and that is a good strategy and if there has to be a difference between the two words, Simeone played his tactics well

It's just like looking for the differences between a stock and a share

Park bus is giving the opponents little room to operate and exploiting exposed spaces when opponents lose the ball, this is a plan/strategy in itself

TheGoodJoe:
Parking the bus is more of strategy than tactics. That is where you guys miss it.

It is accepting the opponent's superiority and looking for an alternative to win against a better opponent.
Those two words tactics and strategy can literally be used interchangeably

Atletico against Liverpool was not accepting that the latter were superior, Simeone tactics were Crystal clear in the first leg, They let Liverpool have the ball and pressed until they lost it and they hit on the counter

Liverpool were clearly going to be the better side but Simeones tactics paid off

TheGoodJoe:
They can get carried away with that but it doesn't change the fact of his tactical inadequacies.
Asides the fact that I'm a Chelsea fan, Rodgers is no where near Mourinho at all

David Moyes is a better coach by far.....

Though one is more attack minded than the other but that alone doesn't win trophies, Mourinho plays his tactics well and approaches games with caution while ending up in winning

Mourinho would have finished top 4 If he had been in Rodgers shoes towards the end of the season

My initial reply

Edopesin:
I meant in the match cause we were obviously better than them as the game went on, and the team we played was very different from the Euro squad by the way
This was his reply to it

kellycute:
I've notice this kind of attitude and mentality from most Nigerians. If we win match, una go say our opponent na weak team, if we draw match, una go say we get luck. I just don't understand the mentality of y'all at all. Maybe it has to do with "inferiority complex". Y'all should wake up and stop this self beating mentality. Always associating our successes either on luck, or on the weakness of our opponents. Abeg, make una get sense.
How do you not see anything wrong with this?

I replied him with this

Edopesin:
Abeg don't bring that tone here, must you always look for quarrel?
But obviously you had to show yourself na with this without bothering to look through the comments prior

Now, Kellycute was just questioning your confidence in the team and felt you were being unnecessarily harsh and boom you went off and called kellycute a troublemaker
You're a shameless liar

It's not my problem that you are not cautious of the way you interact in the public. Go back to the exchanges I had with Sheyi and see the sort of biased comments you left , despite the fact that I was very gentlemanly and showed decorum admits insults and abuses.

Now, Kellycute was just questioning your confidence in the team and felt you were being unnecessarily harsh and boom you went off and called kellycute a troublemaker. Of course , you cant prove it. And if you dare say or think you havent done any wrong then your integrity is questionable.
First of all, if you had taken time to read my initial comment that he quoted you would have seen that what he is accusing me of is unfounded and I bet you cannot give me these biased comments you're on about

At the bolded, if you cannot show this wrong I've done then you are nothing but a shameless liar
