Ya cracking me up big time the same Cameroon almost beat up in AFCON they were leading before the comeback
Ivory coast has name but to build a team is damn easy all they need is good coach and watch them wallop us
Algeria dominated that match and deserve the win
It is really dishearten as good as our player be who know even get person wey sabi take set piece even Madagascar dey score Free kick sad
Na Rohr mumu for that Madagascar match, he underrated them, our players also
But you see that Algeria match, they didn't deserve anything you guys are giving them too much credit, the game was balanced and anybody could have won

I've notice this kind of attitude and mentality from most Nigerians. If we win match, una go say our opponent na weak team, if we draw match, una go say we get luck. I just don't understand the mentality of y'all at all. Maybe it has to do with "inferiority complex". Y'all should wake up and stop this self beating mentality. Always associating our successes either on luck, or on the weakness of our opponents. Abeg, make una get sense.
Abeg don't bring that tone here, must you always look for quarrel?

I no gree with wetin you just talk ivory coast ,Senegal , Algeria , Cameroon are better than us in terms of quality go and check their squad wella .....they will wallop Nigeria anytime and any day if they're on form.
The same Cameroon that we beat in Afcon
abi which one cheesy the two goals they scored was as a result of defensive errors, it's not as if they wanted to kill us or anything but our goals were well worked out, Ivory Coast only have big names not a team, if it was by names Senegal for get like 25 Afcons

Algeria wouldn't have won that Afcon if the Senegalese goalkeeper didn't turn to Akpeyi before they conceded that goal, Senegal are the only African team I rate ahead of Nigeria at this moment

Champions keee
Were not champion we're just force to be reckon with
Cote d ivoire , Senegal, Egypt,Cameron Algeria are all playing rugby abiiiii
Baba things have changed many Africa team have rised up to the occasion.
As a loyal SE fan I will advise to lower you expectations on this team and enjoy the game it not failure that kills but anxiety am tipping Nigeria for another bronze in the next AFcon
If you say Senegal I go agree but the rest- Cote d'voire, Egypt, Cameroon, Algeria we should be able to beat these teams any time any day if we approached the match well

See the way we exposed Cameroon in Afcon, Egypt and Cote d'ivoire go collect better beating from our squad if they should play today cheesy though I'm not underrating them.

We were unlucky to lose against Algeria and I blame Akpeyi for it, if the game had gone to extra time we wouldn't have lost like that, if rohr no win the next Afcon make he just go dey coach teams like Tanzania or SA or any other small teams not SE

We are nigeria, it will be very difficult for the top ten teams in the world to tame brazil from having an attempt is impossible.

Uzoho saving our ass is his duty. We did very well against brazil scoring two goals against brazil to me is one of the biggest highlight of nigeria in this past few years.
Na 1-1 we play
The Ukraine we played 2-2 with is even disappointing because we should have destroyed them but defensive errors were our undoing, Kalu played like he was Mbappe with his footwork, Osimhen and Chukwueze terrorized their defence but we couldn't win after going 2 goals up against the mediocre Ukrainians

Oga, we had a game plan going into the match. It was clear that we were the under dog, you dont expect us to match them tit for tat.

Brazil should count their luck that there got a draw from us. Next time we'll shake them up.
How did the plan fair? If I remember correctly, we scored first but struggled with defending the goal and keeping up with Brazilians in midfield, Firmino was Suarez that day and was unlucky not to score, Uzoho saved a well worked out shot from him in the box

Uzoho was by far the best player on the pitch with his pinpoint saves. Imagine Neymar had 3 of those shots

Not about players we hope will perform one day in the future.

Why are people selecting played not on merit but sentiment. And they will say that somebody is biased. They will even misrepresent matters to push forward untruths.

Irrespective if a players problems or issues they are irrelevant. The issue is consistent top quality continous Perfomance.

Currently Timo is untested in the EPL and we know it is much easier to score in the Bundesliga than it is in the EPL.

So Timo has much more to prove than Tega and you don't expect any player to not hype his own team mates.

Who is the top goal scorer in Chelsea with 15 goal and three assistshuh ❓ Tega is already proven and he cost them how much❓ Who has been the highest goal scorer for Chelsea in the past three seasons.
Tega has regressed on the pitch since recovering from his injury though I know how good he is. Werner on other hand I expect to start ahead of Abraham next season, they're not even comparable cos Werner is clearly better

If Abraham can get back in form, then he will give Werner a run for his money

People like to barge in here and throw baseless criticism on Nwakali but fail to take account of the many underlying issues that may have contributed to his setbacks of which he had no control over.

According to Nwakali, he was able to play only five games no thanks to visa issues.
The criticism isn't baseless
He was on the bench in 6 of the last 11 matches that huesca played so I don't know where Visa issue came from

Promoted Nwakali dreams of Super Eagles invitation, move to Barcelona

https://guardian.ng/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/Kelechi-Nwakali-487x274.jpg

Former Nigeria U-17 national team captain, Kelechi Nwakali, still dreams of taking his game to the highest level. The 2015 U-17 World Cup winner just started playing regularly in Europe five years after leading Nigeria to the title in Chile.

While his mates like Samuel Chukwueze and Victor Osimhen, are commanding rave reviews in Europe, Nwakali just gained promotion to the Spanish La Liga from the second division with Huesca. It has not been the type of career many pundits predicted for the lad when he became the best U-17 player in the world in 2015.

But now that his career seems to be stepping up, he does not want to let go.Nwakali wants to return to the international scene with the Super Eagles, while working hard to attract the attention of his dream club, FC Barcelona.

Speaking at the weekend, Nwakali said he is now ready for the Super Eagles, adding that Huesca’s promotion has now given him the opportunity to play against the big boys once again.

He noted that playing football in the top league has been his career aspiration as a young footballer, saying, “I am delighted that my club has gained promotion to the Spanish La Liga. It was not easy for my team at the second division because of the quality of teams at that level.

“I was only able to play in five games because I had Spanish visa issues. My focus now is to work hard to play regularly when the league resumes.” Nwakali, who has watched over the years as his mates, Chukwueze and Osimhen have cemented their positions in the Super Eagles team, believes it is only a matter of time before he joins them.

“I believe when Coach Gernot Rohr needs me, he will invite me. I speak with him at times and I know my time will soon come.

“I am delighted that my team mates, Victor Osimhen and Samuel Chukwueze are doing well in Super Eagles. My aspiration is to join them in the team. They understand my kind of play and we connect very well on the pitch,” he said. Nwakali also revealed that his childhood desire is to play for Barcelona FC some day.

"I have always hoped to play for Barcelona FC some day as a young footballer. But in life, you must start somewhere to achieve your dream. I am delighted that I am now a player in the Spanish top league.

“Giving my best to my club remains the priority now. As a young footballer, I aspire to play like Kanu Nwankwo and Yaya Toure because I fancy their style of play.”

In the current Super Eagles team, Nwakali picks Oghenekaro Etebo as his ideal player, saying, “His dedication and commitment to national team duties delights me. My stay under Coach Emmanuel Amuneke in the Golden Eaglets team has prepared me for everything I am facing now in my career.”

C-B Tips Stars Update

Tammy Abraham: "Timo Warner first training is something that makes me feel like we are in for a good time with Chelsea next season . The way he strikes the ball towards goals is inspiring. He hardly misses the target. I see close margins between the top six Premier league teams next season. Just by looking at him you feel like a League Champion already"

A foreign coach in Tanzania had this to say about the locals today cheesy

“I don’t enjoy [Tanzania]. You’re uneducated people. I am disgusted. I don’t have a car, WiFi or DStv. These fans don’t know anything about football. It’s like monkeys or dogs when they’re shouting.”
