andrewbaba44: So because shehu was important before he should always be called ? Abeg how many DMs are in our Squad that Shehu must be dropped sef? Maybe that's the reason Rohr is calling him abi do you have a better explanation for why players like onyekuru were not rated by Rohr |

benji93: I have said it and i'll say it again. If Rohr cannot get us the next Afcon or at least lose honorably to a more talented team in the finals, he has to be fired. I don't remember the last time Nigeria had such a crop of talented players. No excuses regarding where we rank. The only reason we rank lower than those teams is cos he fared worse than those teams, even though they were not more talented. I went to check that Algerian squad again and they were not a better team. You could argue that they beat senegal in the finals. Yes they did, but that was cos senegal were terrible too, not cos they were more talented. Anything other than winning the trophy is not acceptable biko |

IDENNAA: You nit pick on things that arent relevant. Being an attacking players doesnt not mean you must score goals. List of SE players that has ability to turn any defence inside out.
Onyekuru.....misused by Rohr Chukwueze S.Kalu Ejuke Osimbaba Nacho Iwobi
Yet , Rohr doesnt understand how to play these boys Rohr doesn't rate Turkey (So they said), so I can only fault Rohr here but chukwueze is being played where he should be playing, Ejuke has not been tested, Osimhen has been tremendous, Samuel Kalu also does relatively well when he plays in LW, Nacho is inconsistent and Iwobi performs well under Rohr So asides the others, Rohr is playing them well |

sheyishemba: Do you just say Good squad Abegiii average squad . Have listened to many rohr interviews and have studied all of his matches ...rohr is not a poor tactician coz mourihno and simeone plays conservative play does that make them a bad tactician Rohr plays a conservative counter attack pattern and for this systems to really work you needs a very solid defense that can absorb attack and need a good linking midfielder that would link up well with your attacker . With Adarabioyo, Ekong, Aina and Awaziem we have a decent defence but we have to work on defending set pieces and taking care of crosses into our box cause we're terrible in this aspect. At the bolded, we are not Spain or Portugal na, shey you get Fernandes or Kovavic kind of players where you dey hide for somewhere. Ndidi is improving with his ball distribution and creative Midfielders like Aribo, Eze and Iwobi is enough to get the job done, We are no more an average when it's Afcon we're talking about |

NIGERIAN LEGEND ODEGBAMI: ROHR NOT QUALIFIED FOR SUPER EAGLESFriday Jul 24, 2020. 11:00 Former Nigerian international Segun Odegbami says Gernot Rohr is not qualified to coach the Super Eagles, arguing that some former players are more worthy of the role than the German. Speaking during an interview session on FCT Football Update WhatsApp platform, as quoted by the Daily Trust, the 67-year-old argues that the likes of Finidi George and Emmanuel Amuneke are more qualified and suited to coach the national team. “I don’t think any white coach should come and coach us anymore, not after the generation of Stephen Keshi, Sunday Oliseh, Jay Jay Okocha who played at every level,” said the legend who helped Nigerian win the Africa Cup of Nations in 1980.
“If they can get the basic qualification, which is not essential in my own estimation, but people insist that they must have it, they are qualified. Finidi George and Emmanuel Anuneke have the qualifications Gernot Rohr does not have.”Odegbami added, “A Nigerian should take Nigeria to the World Cup because a foreigner does not understand our football philosophy and psychology.“He will just use his colour to bamboozle us. And these days when the black lives matter a lot, the black race should take charge of its own. “The white man can’t love us more than ourselves. My belief is that anyone who will coach the Super Eagles must be a world class coach. Rohr can’t deliver that. “He’s not a world class coach that we are looking for, without question.” https://africanfootball.com/news/779484/Nigerian-legend-Odegbami-Rohr-not-qualified-for-Super-Eagles

TheOtherCitizen: It's a big deal. That 3-on-3 chance Iheanacho missed was bad to be honest. And then you go to the bench and are laughing at a teammate. Iheanacho linked the attack well, playing as a Shadow Striker, played better than Vardy. But that little act of laughing at a teammate shows immaturity.
Today was Ndidi's Man Utd audition and he aced it.
6 tackles, 2 interceptions, 2 Aerials. Consistent. Ndidi is world class Change my mind |
