Hello
I hardly post anything on Nairaland but I read posts and comments. My current monthly net salary is 750,000. A relative residing in Bulgaria has secure a one year work permit for me and what I need to do next is apply for the work visa. I have read many posts of people asking questions whether to travel or stay in Nigeria and retain their job. There has been many different views and opinions. If you are earning 750,000 a month, will you leave it and travel to Bulgaria on a work permit. Note that the job is a warehouse/construction worker role with monthly salary of 800 euro

Igbos Shine both when Nigeria is bad and when it is good. This my standpoint view is backed up with the evidential reality of what the Igbo business men did this December. Anybody that it in the Eastern Nigeria this festive season will not believe that this is the same Nigeria where cost of 1 bag of rice is 100k. There was an unaccountable number of events and this last year saw the highest influx of people in the recent times. How are the Igbos doing this. It is simple. Igbos are business people, therefore they are not always at the tail end of the adverse effects of inflation. Infact a business man confided in me that Last year was his best Year. Other tribes should realize that no matter how they try, they can't kill that spirit of Igbo man. If it can't happen during the war, it cannever happen now. Igbo esika

A Nigerian graduate has expressed regret after spending five years at Lagos State University (LASU), only to end up selling zobo. She took to her TikTok page to share her story, explaining how she now works as a zobo vendor to make ends meet. She revealed that she spent half a decade pursuing her education at the university, but ultimately became a zobo seller after graduation. Eyes Of Lagos reports,

“If I had known it would be zobo I’d end up selling, I wouldn’t have wasted 5 years of my life in LASU,” she captioned her post.

Her video has since sparked various reactions from viewers.

@gbemmy cakes commented: “Education is never a waste. Can you compare yourself to a roadside zobo seller? No.”

@Gozi Oleks asked: “Which course did you study? Can you defend your certificate?”

@Lily🤪🥰 responded: “Abeg, don’t fear me ooo😭 I’m also a fresh graduate from LASU.”

@Zayyy 💕 said: “Seeing this while sitting in a hot class in LASU😂 God, please help.”

@Adetutu🥰😍 wrote: “Which course did you study? My friend asked me to ask☺️.”

@IVORY 🥺🌸💕 added: “Omo, sometimes life is about connections 😞. Thanks to my uncle who patiently waited for me to graduate 👩‍🎓, I didn’t have to wait for work, work was waiting for me 😭😂.”

Politics › Re: UK And Nigeria Sign Prisoner-exchange Deal by Educationalserv: 11:23pm On Jan 06, 2025
essentialone1:
The UK and Nigeria have signed an agreement to allow the transfer of prisoners between the two countries.

It means citizens of one who commit crimes in the other will serve sentences in their homeland.

The UK government said it meant inmates could be "properly prepared for release into the community in which they will live following their release".

Both countries already have prisoner-transfer treaties in place with several other states.

The UK-Nigeria agreement was one of the objectives outlined by UK Prime Minister David Cameron and Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan following a meeting in 2011.

It is expected the first prisoner transfers will take place before the end of this year.

UK Justice Minister Jeremy Wright said: "Removing foreign national offenders is a key priority for the British government and the prisoner transfer agreement I signed this morning with the Nigerian attorney-general plays a significant role in supporting this.

"Both the United Kingdom and Nigeria have prisoner transfer arrangements with other countries and it is right that our two countries, which have such strong ties and shared interests, should develop our own arrangements.

"I strongly believe that this agreement will have significant benefits for both our countries."

Education › Re: Research Proposal Writing Service_24 Hours Express Delivery Service _ Experience by Educationalserv: 9:29am On Jan 01, 2025
gr8tness:
Research Proposal Writing Service_24 Hours Express Delivery Service _ Experienced Proposal Writers

Need professional assistance with research proposal writing for any UK University? Oliveserah Writers got you covered.

Since 2013, we have supported local and international students in the area of Research Proposal Writing across multiple fields, Social Sciences, Management Sciences, Public Health and Information Technology. We understand that for most UK Universities;

1. Plagiarism is a deadly sin: Hence, all our contents are 99% original, we take the pain of writing the same without the use of software like other writers. We have found that Paraphrasing software such as Quillbot does not beat Turnitin Checks and this explains why we continue to work with all sense of originality.

2. Logical flow and critical argument is required: Almost all Universities in the UK and US require critical argument to be demonstrated throughout the writeup. So it is not about "according to Oliveserah (2022)....", it's about "Oliveserah (2022) argued that….". Also, it's about "Oliveserah (2022) argued that ……. But Ukessay (2021) stressed that ….". This is not something every writing service provider can deliver on, but without 8 years+ of experience in research writing, you can be sure that we can cover you.

3. Recent Academic Document/Reference/Citation: The assessor would want to see you use references from the last 3-5 years maximum. Having citations of journals that are recent, including the current year will give your work greater accountability, credibility and relevance. Getting recent literature is indeed problematic but trust us, we have good search instinct and strategy to get Google or any academic database to give us exactly what we want.

4. Following the Format: every school has their format. For instance, the University of Chichester would ask you for a proposal of about 500 words but other universities would require proposals of 1,500 or 2,500 words as the case may be. Before writing, we ask for the guideline and work in line with the guideline to deliver the proposal.

5. Logical/Researchable Topic and Objectives: Your research proposal will be incomplete without a good topic. We consider topics to be great if you can find 10+ journals that have focused on either of the variables (dependent or independent), if not, you can be sure to hit the rock later on. Then the objectives must be SMART and be focused on a single variable you intend to measure. For instance, a research objective cannot be, "To assess the impact of leadership on staff motivation and commitment", this is an error! Each objective must focus on only one variable i.e. "To assess the impact of leadership on staff motivation" then another objective will be to "To examine the impact of leadership on staff commitment". Only experienced writers know this.

6. A suitable methodology: once you get this aspect wrong, then the research work will be like a wild goose chase. As per the research proposal, you need to consider the methodology and sampling that is more appropriate. For example, if your research is "To understand the influence of X on Y", then a qualitative methodology is more ideal than if you are "To examine the impact of X on Y" where quantitative methodology will do the trick.

How does it work?

It's a Simple 3 Step Approach;

1. Chat with Our Research Consultant on WhatsApp: +234-706-818-0074

2. Share your Research Topic and guidelines. If you do not have one, let us know your field of study and we would craft suitable topics (max of 2) for your consideration.

3. The Express Service is for research proposals required within 24 hours after payment. The charges range from NGN30 - NGN50 per word, depending on the nature of the topic and the specifications on the guideline. Once payment is confirmed, work is delivered within 24 hours.

N.B:

- If there are expectations of the proposal, the client is expected to communicate the same at Stage 1 as such needs to form the basis for appropriate pricing as well.

- We still expect the client to read through and understand the work; we frown at clients who would just take the work and submit because where they need to engage the supervisor, it's their knowledge that matters, not what is written down.

- Given the new trend in UK universities, having a low similarity index is still an issue. Hence, we advise that before final submission, the client sends the similarity index report generated with Turnitin to our team for second-line review.

See some of our testimonials extracted anonymously from search and if you're convinced, why not buzz us for everything research. It begins with a chat, WhatsApp: +234-706-818-0074
