Nigerian rapper, Olamide has finally laid his mother to rest at the Ikoyi cemetery last week.

According to reports, pressmen were absent from the occasion which was held private as only family members and invited friends were present.

The cause of her death is still known, but it is reported that she died on the birthday of Olamide’s son, Maximilliano.

The rapper had taken to social media to celebrate Maximilliano on his birthday where he wrote on his Instagram page,

“Happy birthday, Batifèori Maximiliano Adedeji, more life young King, from Dad, your best pal.”

About 4 hours later, Olamide took to the same Instagram page to mourn the loss of his mother by displaying a black background with the caption:

‘Orisa bi iya o si’, meaning “There’s no goddess like a mother.”

Scientists believe they have just discovered a new organ in the body which no one knew about before now.

A new study published On Monday, March 27 says the new organ discovered is called the interstitium. The interstitium is a network of fluid-filled tubes all around the body which could act as a shock absorber. Sadly, this organ could also act as a conduit for cancerous cells to move to different parts of the body. However, knowing about it could lead to new treatments and better understanding.

If it is indeed an organ, it could be the biggest of 80 in the human body, found under the skin and also lining veins and arteries, muscles, the gut and every visceral organ. Previously, scientists had seen it but believed it was made up of dense connective tissue. The Federal high court, Abuja, has asked Senator Enyinaya Abaribe and two others to produce leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) Nnamdi Kanu in court for the next hearing of his treason case on June 26th 2018 or face jail term.

Recall that Abaribe, Immanuel El-Shalom, a Jewish high priest, and Tochukwu Uchendu, a chartered accountant, stood surety for Kanu when he was granted bail on April 27th last year after spending over a year in detention.

Kanu has however gone underground after the military invasion of his home in Abia state in September last year.

At the resumed hearing of Kanu’s treason case yesterday March 28th, Justice Binta Nyako told counsel to the senator and the two others to either produce Kanu in court during the next hearing or forfeit their N100 million bail bond issued when he was grnted bail or go to jail.

Kanu is facing a four-count amended charge preferred against him and four others, whose trial had since been separated from his. Abaribe and the two others entered an undertaken to produce Kanu before the court to face his trial by standing as sureties for him.

Recently arrested 39-year-old vicious assassin, Adeola Williams aka Ade Lawyer, has confessed that he has killed over 100 since assassinating people was his source of livelihood.

“But now I’m born again,” he said while being paraded.

Williams, a father of three from Ijebu Igbo, Ogun State, was recently arrested over the killing of one Ganiyu Ayinla, aka Pinero, who was the P.A to Adekunle Lawal, aka Kunle Poly, the NURTW chairman in Idumota, Lagos.

While giving account of his activities, he said, “If I get a chance to regain my freedom in this life, I will never go back to crime again. I also advise the millions of youths out there that crime does not pay. I was into crime for over 20 years and despite the risk involved and lack of rest of mind, I have nothing to show for it except the uncompleted bungalow in Ibadan. I have nothing on ground to fall back on despite taking the lives of more than 100 Nigerians. May God forgive me.”

However, Williams said he decided to take the life of Kunle Poly for refusing to talk to the state chairman of the union, Tajudeen Agbede, on his behalf. He said he worked hard for Agbede to emerge as the chairman but that he was dumped after the election.

Williams added, “I thought about my predicament because my wife was heavily pregnant and the money I was getting from Oluomo wasn’t enough and I wasn’t ready to use my gun for armed robbery, so I decided to end the life of the man who refused to help me mend my relationship with Agbede.”

An investigation has been launched after shocking photos and video of a bus crash victim who underwent a limb surgery was forced to use his amputated foot as a pillow at an Indian hospital.

28-year-old Ghanshyam Singh, a school employee, was severely injured during a school bus accident that injured another 25 school children.

In the shocking photos and video, Mr. Ghanshyam was seen laying his head on his removed limb at the Jhansi Medical College in Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh on Saturday.

Ghanshyam’s family have accused doctors at the hospital of placing his amputated foot under his head as a pillow.

Relative Janaki Prasad said: ‘When we reached the hospital, we saw his leg being used as a headrest.

‘I repeatedly asked the doctors to intervene but they refused. Finally, after about two hours, I managed to get a pillow for him from the market and that’s when the leg was removed.’

According to Mail Online, the Uttar Pradesh government is investigating the hospital and action will be taken against those found responsible.

Here is the terrifying moment a man accidentally drove his car straight into a flooded river in Southern Queensland, Australia.

The scary incident which was captured on the driver’s dash cam shows the man driving along Heales Rd near Bundaberg, Queensland, while he was on the phone with a friend.

Before he could realise what was in front of him, he attempted to apply the brake but ended up ploughing into the waters, and immediately begins to float.

Fortunately the man survived the scary encounter.

A Reverend Father, along with other culprits, have been arrested for stealing an 18-month-old baby in Osogbo, Osun state.

The child was kidnapped from his mother and sold to an orphanage. The priest, Rev. Father Chike Ejiofor, who heads Our Lady of Fatima parish in Woliwo, Onitsha, Anambra State, is believed to have unknowingly become an accomplice after a parishioner approached him that she wanted to adopt a child and he referred her to the orphanage the baby was sold to and even helped her through the process.

Among those arrested was 28-year-old Joy Esu. According to Punch, Joy approached the mother of 18-month-old Abdullahi Azeez at her shop in Osogbo and pretended that she wanted to learn tailoring so the mother accepted. Two days later, when the mother left her alone with the baby to go to the market, Joy ran off with the child who she then gave to her boyfriend Sidney Onwuka.

Onwuka, who has sold at least 6 children stolen by Joy, then sold baby Abdullahi to one Maxwell Agu, who claimed to be running a government registered orphanage at Orlu, Imo State. Onwuka said he had sold six babies to the operator of the orphanage, including his own child, adding that the operator paid him N200,000 for his child.

Joy alleged Onwuka used charms to manipulate her into doing whatever he wants because she has never been able to refuse him when he sends her to commit a crime, even though he never pays her a kobo for it. She added that she even sold her daughter to him and he didn’t pay her for it.

Now, this is where the priest comes in. A widowed parishioner named Elizabeth, who has 5 grown daughters but wants a male child, met the priest and told him of her intention to adopt a son. The priest contacted the operator of the orphanage and baby Abdullah was brought to the parish by Mr Agu and Joy Esu. Ms Elizabeth gave the priest N750,000 which he paid to Mr Agu, the orphanage operator and they were given an adoption form to fill to make it look legitimate.

Speaking to journalists, Rev. Father Chike Ejiofor said: “I wanted to help the lady and that was what I was after because people come to me for help and I help them. I am in shock now. This is my 32 years in the ministry, but look at how I crashed.

“My hands, legs and entire body are in the trap now, how do I extricate myself? I only wanted to help the woman; I had no other intention.”

The Commissioner of Police in Osun State, Mr. Fimihan Adeoye, led other officers to parade the suspects at the police headquarters in Osogbo on Thursday. Mr Adeoye said the suspects stole the baby and drugged him so he wouldn’t cry out when he was being taken out of Osun State.

I was in a long-term relationship for about six years. We had a pretty racy sex life – we’d had a few threesomes, we weren’t shy about sex in public places, and we’d tried all kinds of role play.

A trader at Ladipo market, Kelvin Duru has landed in trouble after he engaged a sex worker in a popular hotel but refused to pay for extra rounds of sex with the 32-year old Blessing Isi in Lagos.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that the request for extra money caused serious quarrel between Kelvin and Blessing and in the process he gave her blows and injured her on the mouth.

The incident happened at the popular brothel located at Mosalashi Street off Lafenwa Road in Ejigbo, Lagos.

According to Blessing, Kelvin approached her for a sex romp and she charged him N500 with the hope that he would spend very little time and pay her the fee. She said when he stayed for almost two hours, she then protested but he promised to add extra N200 to make it N700.

Blessing said she bore the whole discomfort until he was satisfied and gave her N1000 asking for change. She then gave him N300 but he insisted that she will not collect the extra N200 which caused the fight and he injured her.

The Edo State-born Blessing claimed that during the fight, Kelvin stole her N76,000 which she kept in her room where the fight took place.

P.M.EXPRESS gathered from Kelvin that when he contacted Blessing, that they agreed on N500 before they started the romp.

He said at the middle of the action, she said that he had wasted much time and should add another N200 which he agreed since he was still in the action.

When he finished he then insisted that he will not pay the extra money. Kelvin denied that he stole any money from her bag.

The matter was reported to the police. He was asked to pay her the money but he insisted that he did not take her money.

Kelvin was charged to court for assault.
He pleaded not guilty.

The Presiding Magistrate, Mr. L.K.J. Layeni granted Kelvin bail in the sum of N50,000 with two sureties in like sum.

He was remanded in prison custody pending when he will perfect his bail condition.

The matter was adjourned till 21 March, 2018.

A middle-aged mother of four, simply called Maggie, was said to have slumped and died just hours before her traditional marriage in the Ugbeide area of Mosogar, Delta State.

Maggie’s partner had decided to pay the bride price after years of being together. A source, who simply identified herself as Ofua, told Vanguard that the marriage was slated for February 15 and 16, and that they had even slaughtered a cow that will be used for the ceremony, when the bride suddenly clutched her chest and screamed.

Ofua said: “We were rushing her to the hospital when the car ran out of fuel and before we could get fuel, she gave up the ghost.” Those who knew the late woman, described her as a nice person, who was fond of saying nice words to everyone she met.

“She would greet you and ask of everybody including your husband and even your dog; we will miss her,” said a woman who refused to disclose her name.

In a related issue, a 42-year-old transporter, simply called Monday, was killed in Oghara, Ethiope West Local Government Area of Delta State.

Vanguard learned that Mr. Monday and some persons from Mosogar in Ethiope West had gone to attend a burial in Oghara. According to a source, Monday had decided to head home at about 2a.m. on Saturday morning, when, just after the bridge along Warri-Sapele high-way, a car intercepted the bus he was travelling in. Some men, after identifying Monday, dragged him out and butchered him with an axe, while the rest passengers were allowed to go.

On February 20, 1978 African music legend and Afrobeat creator Fela Anikulapo Kuti married 27 women on the same day all of whom were his back up dancers.


History has it that Fela was able to pull off the feat by putting out a notebook and asking any of the girls who were willing to marry him to write down their names and instantly 27 of them did.

And on February 20th, Fela called Ifa priests (reportedly 12) to join the wives in holy matrimony at the Parisona Hotel in Anthony, Lagos. A handful of the wives married against their parents consent but the wedding ceremony went on nonetheless.

The event was joined by band members, friends and family. Fela placed naira notes on their heads, offered a few words and dished around marriage certificates. He would then engage in a rotating system of having just 12 of them live with him at a particular time. When he first married, he had sex with one, then another, then another till the 27 were complete and then he took them all to Ghana for the honeymoon shortly after.

Another reason why the marriage held was to protect Fela, and his wives, from claims from authorities that Fela was kidnapping the women.

Bizarre confession of having sexual intercourse with eighteen men within one month by a housewife, has set Asaba and its environs in Delta state on fire.

Witnesses were stunned last weekend when a 42-year-old beautiful house wife (name withheld) reportedly burst into tears with mind blowing confession in UmuaguAsaba shrine, that she had had sexual intercourse with 18 men under one month, and in her matrimonial home.

Her sudden outburst, which attracted a crowd to the scene, stunned the elders of the Asaba community into a state of shock, especially as the woman had been well known within the area as a hardworking and unsuspecting petty trader.

It was gathered that the housewife, a native of theAshama community in Aniocha North local government area of Delta state, had been married for the past six years and has two children.

Sources said the woman’s husband had, for longbeen cautioning her against some male customers who hide behind patronising her shop for some dubious intents. He also threatened to expose any illicit affairs she might indulge in using fetish charms.

Investigation revealed that, rather than heed her husband’s caution, the woman called his bluff to the extent of even, as alleged, inviting her sexual patrons to her matrimonial bed whenever her husband went to work at the Federal Medical Centre (FMC) Asaba.

Those in the know said that one of her patrons,now late, was the son of a prominent newspaper distributor. He was also said to be a retired banker andwell-known elder of Umuagu community.

The young man, who was buried recently in a dawn ceremony, was said to have allegedly enticed the housewife with huge sums of money. He was noted as a regular visitor to the woman for patronage of sorts before the bubble burst.

The husband, now fed up with the antics of his wife and her customers, gave teeth to his earlier numerous threats and took her to the shrine. At the shrine, she, in an open confession, said: “I have sex with 18 men in Asaba, and they gave me N1.5 million altogether, I got so much in love with them because they hit me very hard sexually; please forgive me; my husband does not last in bedand I needed it most for my upkeep hence I gave in to the men”.

Meanwhile, the husband, in a swift reaction, said: “I promised to kill all the 18 men because I warned my wife to stay away from the act.When I got wind of it, I consulted a charm specialist who will kill all of them if they refused to own up”.

An elder in the area, Ogbueshi Anthony Molokwu, said the three persons who died of swollen joystick refused to confess their sins, adding that anyone who commits a taboo will pay dearly for it.

Further investigation revealed that the latest victims allegedly vowed to hide their heads in shame and not to confess their sins.They would rather die hence the curious circumstances of their death –abnormally swollen joystick followed by death.

As at the time of this report, elders of the community has banished the 15 other culprits until they confessed their action while palpable fear of the unknown pervades the community.
