It is unfortunate that many do not understand the implications of supporting mutiny in the armed forces in whatever guise. That is a call to lawlessness and involvement of the military in politics.

I do not think the Federal Government has done enough in the fight against the terrorists; I also believe that corruption exists among the top military ranks. These are issues that should addressed within proper channels, one of which is to vote out the PDP led government come 2015. However, justifying something that Buhari himself knows is unacceptable within the military code of ethics is wrong. I know that GMB would have killed those military boys without giving them the right to any hearing, if it happened in his days at the military.

Besides, the fight GMB carried out in his days was against an external group. That was easier to deal with. Boko Haram is in internal group which enjoys the support and sympathy of top Nigerian politicians. There is no basis of comparing the two. Our leaders should be careful with what they say. When the country is destroyed I wonder who they will govern.
