PoliticsRe: Food For Thoughts On The Akwa Ibom Stadium by Edygrin(m): 10:22pm On Nov 13, 2014
tinkinjow:
Haters will never stop.
So why had Fashola not built a refinery and call on the private sector to manage it?
Envy
Bitterness
Petty jealousy. This is all I see. This write up is ill conceived
No country waits until the last citizen is taken out of poverty until it embark on certain projects.
India, China, Russia, US, etc all started space programmes at a time many ( in some cases hundreds of millions ) of their citizens were ( some still are ) stricken with poverty.
Akwa Ibom deserved more of such stadiums and has gotten one kudos to Akpabio.
Stop the hate.
You will all wake up one day to discover that Akwa ibom had surpassed Lagos. ( maybe this is the problem)
When Fashola refurbished the kiosk at Surulere he was praised to high heavens. No one complained that Lagos is full of the worst slums in Africa.
I am beginning to agree that a section of this country frowns at another section out performing it. Sometimes am really short for words.
Akpabio had built more roads with bridges than you have ever seen a single government did, federal roads inclusive and is not complaining like Fashola
Schools at almost 90% completely renovated. ( u can claim ameachis own are better yet I think his is not up to 20%)
An elibrary
Schools to secondary level are free, waec/neco fees are paid
5 nos hospitals, many more health centres built,
Children under the ages of 6 and adults above 65 get free medicare
A referral hospital probably the best purpose built is to be commissioned soon.
The Tropicana/cineplex, sheraton on course
An airport completed with Maintenance hangar, expansion on course
Ibom power plant completed built tens of kilometres of pipeline from Eket to Ikot Abasi also erected a High tension to evacuate the power from Ikot Abasi to Eket.
Over 85% electrification achieved with 100% promised by 2015
Thousands of minor inter ministerial projects most of which have been advertised in some national dailies with locations and photographs (I guess for pips like this writer) to see.

In the 21st century only e.d.i.o.t.s still think that it's the role of government to build factories or plant plantations.
Russia realised it wasn't the best, China knows it's impossible. If government have built dams please farm. Since there are good roads please you be a transporter.
You can't be more Catholic than the pope. Stop despising the Akwa Ibomites. They are happy.

I read somewhere where someone demanded life touching projects and I asked are these ones death touching.
May the envious perish.

PoliticsRe: My Take On Pres Jonathan's Pilgrimage To Israel - CramJones by Edygrin(m): 9:37am On Oct 28, 2014
Degis:
Truly, Opposition in Nigeria has gone to the dogs. This CramJones moniker is a disgrace to every rational homosapien. Muslims go to Mecca twice a year for Hajj but because GEJ went to Israel twice this year, you are foaming at the mouth. I recognize your right to rant as your inalienable right but when you take it to abysmally low level like this, it then behoves on every sensible persons to call you to order.

You are a disgrace and I will not be surprised if you masturbate with the name of GEJ. Your party, the APC has the franchise of stupidity and it is not rocket science to decipher that frustration will dog your Electoral pursuits in 2015. if hurling abuses at Mr. President wins the election for the Opposition, it would have been a considered route but fortunately it is not abuses but outlining your alternative but credible programmes.

However, GEJ is not our ideal candidate for 2015. I really pray for a Political tsunami to sweep away all these pretenders to the throne and give us someone in the mould of Obafemi Awolowo, Kwame Nkrumah, Bill Clinton who will lead us to the promise land.

We are tired of Corruption, Terrorism, Economic Stagnation, unemployment but the current pack of jokers projecting themselves as presidential hopefuls are not making the field exciting and captivating.
Fixed.

BIG SHAME ON SELF HATING NIGERIANS.

Construction has not even started on this Airport. The shameless OP posted digital models and construction sites from another country.
Ghana, for now is too broke to even construct any new International Airport, they will have to wait for IMF's permission to build this new Airport.

PS: Nigeria is already building about four new international terminals simultaneously, and IMF has nothing on us. grin
Seriously its a big shame. This is only the second intl airport in ghana out of 8 airports while there's 6 Intl airports in Nigeria out of Over 25 airports. I wonder why the bashing between Nigerians.

I dont know why the NFA took an international game to a stadium thats in the middle of nowhere?

and 30k capacity, is that the best Nigeria could come up withhuh?

Akwa Ibom or Uyo is not a football crazy city and its not central for all the fans to get to..

Nigeria needs a stadium that will create a hostile atmosphere for the opposition, not one that will make our opponent feel like they are playing at home.
Bad Belle. You didnt complain when the SE were playing in calabar which has 12k capacity. Learn to appreciate, stop being a hater. This is the best stadium in Nigeria.

CultureRe: The Essence Of Candles On Birthday Cakes? by Edygrin(m): 5:28am On Jul 29, 2014
There are a few theories about the origins of
birthday candles
1. Some believe that the tradition of birthday candles began in Ancient Greece , when people brought cakes adorned with lit candles to the temple of Artemis, goddess of the hunt. The candles were lit to make them glow like the moon, a popular symbol associated with Artemis.
2. The Germans also celebrated with birthday candles during Kinderfest , a birthday celebration for children in the 1700s. A single birthday candle
was lit and placed on the cake to symbolize the
“light of life.”

Many ancient cultures also believed that smoke
carried their prayers to the heavens. Today’s
tradition of making wishes before blowing out your
birthday candles may have started with that belief.

SantaMafia: our economy is always in crisis? yet only 52% of our people live on $2 a day, compared with 90% for crisis-free shitnigeria. our economy is always in crisis yet life expectancy is 64 years, compared with 52 years for your dustbin country. our economy is in crisis yet the vast majority of our youths are gainfully employed while your dustbin country has youths indulging in crime as a result of lack of jobs. you remember the episode when one million applicants lined up in abuja and the rest of the country for 10 vacancies and people got crushed to death? grin our economy is always in crisis yet we provide free feeding for our young children across the country, something your dustbin country can't afford to do. do I continue..........................? grin grin grin grin grin fuckeduppedness grin

our economy is in crisis yet our police and the rest of the civil service are better paid than crisis-free shitnigeria. you need to get rid of the generator fumes in your brain

Foreign AffairsRe: Two Nigerians Arrested In Ghana For Joining Protest March by Edygrin(m): 4:09pm On Jul 26, 2014
SantaMafia: hahahaha why do shitnigerians have such inferiority complex? which economies do you want to compare? it is the one on paper or the reality on the ground? the bottom line is the welfare of the people. what is the point in having a large economy on paper if your people languish in abject poverty? what is the point in having a large economy on paper if your youths are roaming about without jobs and engage in all forms of crimes to survive? what is the point in having a large economy on paper if 90% of your people survive on less than $2 a day? what is the point in having a large economy on paper if most of the money get stolen by thieving officials? what is the point in having the largest economy on paper if the vasat majority of your people can't have ordinary electricity in the 21st century? grin grin grin funny country funny country
“The sad fact is that Ghana’s economy is in a
crisis. I do not use the term “crisis” lightly. This is
not some short term blip that will just pass over if
we can just muddle through. The problem we have
is that there appears to be an unwillingness to
face the truth and admit that we are in a crisis. In
fact, we appear to be in a state of denial. At this
rate, one should expect much more depreciation of
the cedi this year”

overhypedsteve: your been happy about nigeria been a sick country makes you a very phoolish person, not even Nkrumah, mandela,Ghadafi,Azikiwe,Patrick.L, and other african anti imperialists were ever happy when any single african country was down trodden, why would i want to pull up facts to prove that a brother nation is poor? That is sheer phoolishness and i ve chasticed a southafrican for that in the past, or have you heared about WASU no i dont think so, cus in your search for evidence to prove that your country is better than a country (that even a single one of its average federating unit is richer than your country) you ve lost your common sense and now all that is left is pure phoolish unfettered hate for african growth.
The main reason that country ain't growing.

SantaMafia: hahahahaha why would I be angry when I'm having great fun kicking some shitnigerian azzes? grin look, those who live in glass houses don't throw stones, huh? hahahaha bashing shitnigeria is as easy as ABC. there is enough stuff even on nairaland to nail your dustbin country. nigeria is sinking fast and the earlier you guys come to terms with that reality the better. you can defend your country any way you can, but the rest of the world knows shitnigeria is a very sick country suffering from a terminal disease grin
You think we hide our problems?..Its a free country, there's Nairaland, there's Nollywood. Nothing is hidden in Nigeria. Unlike you guys that bring up fake statistics when we already know the truth (which is : Ghana is a Nobody in Africa) . It's fun kicking Nigerians azzes?.. dats a symptom of low-self esteem.

SantaMafia: can you imagine the rubbish this eediot posted grin what has a small country dot to do with producing food. first of all, are Ghanaians responsible for you guys producing like pigs? grin and don't you people have a bigger land mass, or are you saying shitnigeria does not have enough land for farming/agriculture? the answer is simple. shitnigerians are the laziest people on earth. everybody wants fast money. how many shitnigerians engage in farming? it is nothing to with the population of a country, mor0n. I thought you guys always delighted in your big population. isn't that what makes shitnigeria the giANT of Africa? grin smh
Laziest? lwkm.. No need to reply you. You Yourself know you are spewing trash.
Foreign AffairsRe: Two Nigerians Arrested In Ghana For Joining Protest March by Edygrin(m): 3:02pm On Jul 26, 2014
SantaMafia: hahahaha have you ever been to Ghana? I bet you don't even know the road to Ghana, yet you sit in your smelly, cursed dustboin country and make outrageous assumptions?

only a few of your people can afford to rent shops in Ghana. the vast majority of them are criminals, pr0stitutes, drug traffickers, 419ners. some also hawk phones on the streets and do menial jobs. I even bought coconut from an igbo boy at east lego yesterday. he's my regular customer.

so don't say what you don't know, huh? last week, three shitnigerians were caught with forged Ghanaian passports. and only recently, some nigerians forged the letter heads of the presidency. no day passes by without reports of criminal acts by shitnigerians in Ghana. smh
Why will i come to ghana?.. What for? My people just come there to make money. You call them prostitutes, who are those paying them for the sex? Nigerian men? abi sex starved ghanaians.. You call them drug dealers, are they the ones smoking/taking those drugs? Abi ghanaians. Any1 that falls victim to a yahoo boy is greedy, which is a trait every ghanaian has.
