Politics / Re: How Does The Thieving Of Corrupt Nigerians Affect Their Kids? by Eemah(m): 5:30am On Nov 10, 2010
Sagamite:

Come on, don't joke with me.

Except you are telling me you are some u-18, I would even go as far and say u-10, then I would believe your experience and observations. That is the generation of nowadays that their parents would not even allow them to speak their mother tongue or a local dialect as it is not posh enough, and allow their kids dress as salaciously and indecently as they wish.

We ALL know the predominant relationship between parents and kids of the older age is autocracy. To tell me your "experience and observations" of the GENERAL NORM in SOCIETY is different and you are over 18, I would not believe you for a SECOND! That is just pure fibbing! You can as well tell me a lot of Saudis in Saudi Arabia celebrate Xmas.

Don't be using exceptions/minority as an argument base.
True talk My bru, may God bless you.

Sagamite:

^^^ Basically, you are declaring yourself as a thief then as you are highly likely to have a relative or family friend or friend's friend that has done some corrupt act (irrespective of how miniscule).
How will they feel anything after all they are the product of the ill gotten wealth.
The only thing is that they will surely pay for the crime of their fathrs for the Almighty said I punish the sins of the parents upon the children up to third and fourth generation.
So you see just relax and take consolation in that.

Politics / Re: Alleged Abia Number One Kidnapper, Osisikankwu, Breaks Silence by Eemah(m): 11:08pm On Nov 09, 2010
This is just a preamble to what is going to happen in the future. Shey they r now busy sending their children to go and study abroad so as to come and take over the non available jobs when their parents retire, that is when the real armed robbery, kidnapping, militancy and all other vices will come out to rear its ugly head. For when an educated youth has nothing to do what else do you think He will do after being frustrated by the system. Their parents have killed the system surely their children are going to pay for the sins of their fathers . angry angry angry

Crime / Re: See The Face Of A Thief(pics) by Eemah(m): 4:47am On Nov 07, 2010
Haba Nigerian judiciary how can you turn to commit this type of sacrilege you that have become the reference point of other judiciaries in Africa, If a poor man steals 5000 now due to hunger and lack you lock him up awaiting trial for the next ten years and for this grand thief just six months. The wrath of God will definitely befall whoever has done this to the common man. As far as am concerned a thief is a thief , plea bargain or no plea bargain and she deserves to rot in the worst jail in Nigeria. The Insulting part of the whole thing is that she was to spend two hours in prison and then taken to the hospital until her doctor certifies her fit to return to prison. Why are you playing with the intelligence of Nigerians ?

Travel / Re: Africa's Most Beautiful City In Pics by Eemah(m): 11:00pm On Oct 28, 2010
Beautiful Nonsense ! Abuja's beauty is a like a pig that has been cleaned up and decorated with gold necklaces and bracelets. The moment you release it, it will surely go back to the gutters. How can we be so proud of Abuja's beauty when less than a 100 kilometers in every radius of the city Nigerians are living in ultimate squalor, without the basic necessities of life. They have only succeeded in making the city comfortable for themselves and if they can have their way they will surely chase away all the commoners who strive to live with them even though where these Nigerians live are a century's civilization away from the main city and coupled with the fact that there are certain things that they can not do for themselves and so they have to rely on these Commoners to do it for them e.g Vulcanizing, driving, security, etc
Jokes Etc / Someone Should Please Break This Puzzle ! by Eemah(m): 11:49pm On Oct 18, 2010
A hunter went to the forest to hunt and eventually shot three large grass cutters, on his way home a fellow villager saw the animals and asked him to sell one of them to him. He refused. The villager demanded to know why he refused knowing fully well that any hunter in his shoes will gladly sell, the hunter replied that that he is going to throw away one of the animals , then throw away the other as for the last one he is giving it out on credit.
Someone should please explain what the hunter means. cry

Nairaland / General / Re: Airport 3D-scanners Show unclothed Images by Eemah(m): 6:16pm On Oct 05, 2010
Olamide Sowole:

According to THISDAY Newspaper - The 3D full-body scanners
procured for thorough body check of passengers at the nation's major airports for security reasons are now being abused by security officialsfrom the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN). They use the machines, installed in the wake of the Farouk AbdulMutallab affair, to watch the unclothed images of female passengers for fun. The controversial body scanners have been dubbed "e-stripping" in advanced countries because of the way they expose the unclothedness of those being screened. THISDAY discovered that during off-peak periods, the aviation
security officials, who are trained on the use of the scanners, usually stroll from the cubicle located in a hidden corner on the right side of the screening area where the 3D full-body scanner monitors are located. They do so to catch a glimpse of some of the passengers entering themachine and immediately go back to view the unclothed images, in order to match the faces with the images since the faces are blurred on the monitors while passengers are inside the machine. The face that appears on the scanner's monitor is usually blurred so that the operator viewing the full body will not recognise who passes
through the machine. But by coming out to see the passenger in person and then going back to see his or her image, the objective of protecting the privacy of the passenger has been defeated. But now the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) and the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) in separate statements faulted THISDAY's report, saying that the frame involved in the screening process would not make it possible for the monitoring officer to scan and at the same time come out to identify the person accessing the 3Dfull body scan. "If you look at where those scanners are located, it is unreasonable for anybody to leave what he's doing at the screening and rush to compare the body or the face of the individual that pass through the machine. When you are monitoring, you can't see the person's full body, what you see is blood. It is when the person has some strange objects that the machine signals the part of the body where the objects are located. The monitor is 10 metres from the screening point and there's no way one can leave the control room to the screening center to go and look at anything. So the reports are not true" Said Mr. Akin Olukunle, GM, Public Affairs unit, Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria Story by THISDAY
