Happy New week to y'all. Itz tym I give my own testimony being a great follower of this thread. After 2 months since my coming back to abj,I got a job. Though on a diff.field frm my discipline,itz atleast goin to keep me busy. And as for the pay,itz is on d average. Just rejoice wth me nd I pray God provide one for others too. We are upto 60 dt sat for the apptitude test buh only 14 were called for d computer test,out of which 8 made it for oral interview nd jst 4 were bin called to resume for work. So i would rather say am lucky as am among d 4 dt made it. Alhamdulilahi!

Ministry of Agric is in dsame compound wth FCTA just opposite the mosque in area 11. Ask frm anybody around wen yu gt to area 11. Itz right after NTA. Besides I dnt knw about d closing date buh it is stil very much on.
N.B: the security at d gate might be bouncin yu frm enterin buh yu shud jst try ur best to let them get in. Best of luck.

Just my own little contribution.
Federal Ministry of Agriculture nd Rural development is organizing a training programme for youth and women between the age range of 18-35. You will be trained in either aqua culture,Poultry production, beef fattening,leather work etc for 2 weeks after which you will be given a kinda starterpackage(moneywise) to start something meaningful.
For any interested individual who have passion for agricultural production,find your way to ministry of agriculture at area 11 nd ask of women and youth section(beside their canteen building) to putdown your details. You have nothin to loose(transport,feeding nd accomodation will be foot by them).
Grab ur own copy of the national cake. Best of luck

Kudos to Jarus for this piece. I must confess,this is a real eye opener for some of us that does not have the experience of what interviews always look like. Fortunately for me, i came across this write-up last Saturday when indeed i have got an interview on Monday(my first interview ever for that matter). Need i say this write-up really help me in the interview because these are the same questions i am being asked,i was just there smiling and giving the response base on what i read here. However,during the cause of the interview the three interviewer were just nodding their head in acceptance to my answers to the extent that the lady among them couldn't hide it. So she was forced to say to her colleague that she like the way i give my response.

acidtalk: The most difficult 'paper work' in any business entity is a "building a business plan". Since I am doing a FREE consulting here, I won't have the whole month (or few weeks) to create one for you from scratch to finish.

However I can give you guideline tips on how to achieve one just like I did earlier for the "proposal". I hope you are okay with this or can recommend you to someone who will readily build one for you, only thing is he/she will want to collect a few cash from you.

building a business plan for you isnt a big deal but i dont see you needing in right now.

I will suggest you lookout for people who bring in the goods directly into the country (distributors/wholesalers).
create a good and trustworthy raport with them so that they can give you goods more than the deposit you make.

most important is to get your customers onground before pumping too much money into the business.

Well, i feel so happy to av come across ds thread as itz jst like an answa to a burden of question av bin tryin to solve all ds while. Besides, am an ex-corper that jst finish servin ds feb. nd as we all know findin a job i sumtin else so i opt for self employment which make me give poultry farmin a thought nd ryt now my mention is ready to help out in dt aspect of money nd moral support. Hence am to come up with a sound business plan for 500/1000 birds(layers) to include all estimations as to how much it will cost to raise them from day old to point of layin.
