4llerbuntu: if u have 40-50k to spend on a phone, you most definitely can do better than that phone.

especially if you don't have any qualms about a refurb. heck u will get a refurb S2 for that sum.


i can't recommend any phone to you. i only know those phones iv used first hand, and can only recommend those ones.
and i also don't know about phone prices.


but as a rule of thumb, i suggest u narrow your search to a phone that has at least 1GB RAM and was released late 2011 onwards. and increase ur budget to 50k.
anything less than that and u will prolly hate your phone in 3 months. 1 year is a long time in mobile tech nowadays, 2011 phones r already outdated.......

Thanks a lot. Is there any samsung phone you'd suggest I get that is between the 40-50k price range? That has the 1g ram? I'd go for the s2 but its about 73k and I don't want to get a refurb one.

what u have there is a crippled custom rom that i doubt is real sef. there is no 4.1.1 custom rom for the note with Baseband Version..N7000XXKJ6

if you are in doubt check the Note section on xda.


what im effectively telling you is to

1 confirm if the phone with you is not a chinese clone.

2 if it is original, flash a stock ICS 4.04 rom.

Hello everyone, I have a samsung Galazynote Gt I9220 and I want to know how to install the google playstore on it, as it did not come preinstall. Also when I tried to download apps from the web version of the playstore this message comes up 'you haven't accessed the Google play store app(the white shopping bag icon) on your device using this email account'. Someone help me please

mercylicious: No1- u have to know if the school runs 3 semester in a year or 2 semesters in a year.
The avg no of course for a semester is 9 unit (3 courses).
So calc d based on dt. Check if they pay international study fee and or study permit fee.
Calc all. Then add like 12kCad per year for living expense. It shld give u an estimate.

Hello guys, I just sent out my application to the university of windsor to study communication studies for fall 2013session. The school has not yet told me how much I'll be paying as tuition and future students are only allowed to use a fee estimator to have and idea of what they'll be paying. I have done this several times and I just want to ask if I should also estimate the fees for summer semester, because I read online that schools usually have two semester Fall and winter.

Hey guys, i tried adding my yahoomail account on my PB but it didn't work, when it tried a Gmail account it worked well. Does anyone know how I can fix the yahoo one?

tummy boy: its a general probs and am still trying to figure it out. but at the moment what i do is that i download the movie with my bb phone and transfer it using desktop manager

what I do is I hold on the download link a little longer, then I click on 'save link as' this way the movie will download. See

i use the 9320 and the only good thing about that phone is the battery life, OS 7 and the hotspot feature. Apart from all that the 9320 is just a really crappy phone.

drumme: Yes it's a problem with the new os 2.1.0.1032. Look for wifi and update to the new os that came out yesterday 2.1.0.1088. It fixed the bug. Everyone should update ASAP.

alstacs: BBM on PlayBook doesn't display BBM groups? Am I missing something here? Or maybe like this we go de dey?
I must confess that the predictive text input here is rather wonderful. I predicts sequence of words in a sentence in addition to auto word complete options.

BBM on the playbook does not display group and the auto correct is pretty cool, but it can get really irritating when I try to type in pidgin =D.

It feels a lot faster tho. Updated bridge but haven't used it. Hopefully it doesn't disconnect on its own anymore.

spoilerx: Blackbird is the ugliest twitter app ever! Too much use of the colour GREEN , the blaq i use is so problematic, it doesn't refresh on its own , i use the ubersocial for android on my PB ,great free app tho it hangs once in a while! If only dey would design one 4 d playbook

maybe you should get the version 1.8 and blaq will refresh on its on if you put on real time.
