OK i have to apologize to layi for pushing his buttons. Be as Nigerians we all need to believe that there are alot of scam churches out there and authorities need to do something about it. Special thanks to you all that contributed.

As a Nigerian, we all have come across or heard about voodoo at on time or the other in our life. But are the so-called powers of African traditional religion real?

Growing up in Nigeria I heard a lot of stories about people being cursed or hunted by underwater spirits or the ever famous "mamiwater". To be frank with you all it is really scary and something that i don't want anything to do with.

But why do some Nigerians always have to resort to voodoo practices to haunt people they don't like, or people that are successful and they are not happy with it or to make people suffer. Do people have to be that wicked?

Personally, I do respect voodoo but i don't believe in it. I want to know what you guys think and please be as objective and realistic as possible. Cheers.

Layi you do feel blessed by the people that gives you those monies because you are a pastor or related to one so you don't have to beg for daily bread.
But do you know that those people that give you those funds because they are desperate?
What ever happened to prayer for free?? Do pastors always have to bless or pray for people and then ask for
money later??

I might sound like an ******** but I really can't understand Nigerians are so greedy!

OK I recently saw a program on the BBC about Nigeria and its church phenomenon. A BBC journalist had to travel to Nigeria to investigate because according to the statistics Nigeria has the highest number of churches per square meter! In lay mans terms it means churches standing side by side with each other in Nigeria alone.

As the journalist was in Lagos, he witnessed people bringing offerings to the church which included T.V sets, radios, freezers and he kept on wondering what god would to with a TV set!

As strange as it sounds, if Nigeria has that much churches, how come Nigeria is still the most corrupt country in the world? I mean how come 99% of the people that attend such churches are only asking God for one thing, to get rich and buy that big car! How come all the pastors are rich?

If you doubt me ask yourself a simple question "when was the last time i prayed for world peace, or for Nigeria or for the less privileged we see everyday on our streets." Then you will know what problem we Nigerians have. They have even extended it abroad!

My wish is that EFCC would someday investigate all the Pentecostal churches and their pastors accounts cus they are really ripping us off. What do you guys think?

Don't get me wrong I do believe in God and I'm a Christian.

Hello Nigerians. I really want to know your opinion on if Drogba is better than oba goal. I personally think that Drogba is the most over paid and highly rated African player ever and i would really appreciate if you guys tell me what you think.

Dude you need to get and updated version of window or to be presice "windows NT" and for security i do think that the best is " norton internet security" Because it gets updated automatically from the internet and its also fire wall proof. Check it out and tell me what you think.

I read an article in a Nigerian tabloid newspaper that General Babangida aka the gap-toothed General is looking forward to returning back to Aso Rock in 2007.  As funny as it sounds, it's is actually true.  His wife in an interview said that she is really excited and can't wait to return to aso rock.

If I were Babangida, I would shut up and become reclusive because during his military regime Nigerians were robbed of every single basic right, and he even gave others for the murder of prominent Nigerians including Dele Giwa. He annulled the June 12 elections which threw Nigeria into chaos. 

Nigerians all around the world, I call upon you all to stand up and prevent the gap-toothed General from returning to power. Gone are the days when we get crushed by military boots.
