Today 11/4/2020 Saturday morning at about
10: 50am, over 11 police men came to my house
to take me to the hotel for, i argued
with the police reasons for me to go hotel and quarantine instead of my house which is safer, the police people replied that is from government that all foreigners especially of African must go to hotel to quarantine,we engaged another argument when they said that my wife will not go with me which we both refused and they pleaded with my wife to support Chinese government to let me go alone she refused and they threatened to cancel my visa and I told them to cancel at this point we reach an agreement that she is going with me and that I am not paying for hotel, also I will not eat any food they brought to me which they agreed though I did not forget my bottle of kai
kai to help fight this corona while in my friendly
detention.
I felt bad because while I was been taken away by the police into the bus, the chinese were running as if I carry on me explosives. The one that pain me most is, they went to the house management office to collect the house documents to call the house owner not knowing is my wife number, and the police man asked her why she rented her house to foreigner May God help us overcome this siege.

Below is my chat with a friend of my in Guangzhou.
He was picked from his room to be quarantined for 14 days. Meanwhile he has never traveled out of China since he came.

I open this thread to help you clear your doubt or any thing you think you want to know about Africans/Nigerians in China.
Am a student in China and we receive virtually information most information surrounding we Nigerians in China first before you see it in any media in Nigeria.
Issues I want to clear are below:
1. The man that fought for Nigerians in China ,his name is Razaq Dayo Lawal. Many misinformation from media houses about his name.
2. Abike dabiri when she was interviewed on channels said the Nigerians were chased out because they overstay in hotel: not true. Abike dabiri don’t have any information from China before the said interview so she make things up.
3. Currently there is a ongoing racist and biased treatment against foreigners in China at the moment. Chinese netizens are made to believe foreigners are the origin of corona virus and they are bringing it to China. So many Chinese people are treating all foreigners bad.
4. It is no more news as well that blacks are been chased out of their apartments. not only Nigerians: Africans as far as you are black. Not because they are owing money but because of the racial outburst.
5. Chinese are going about in Guangzhou testing Blacks for what they call NUCLEAR ACIDIC TEST . Only Africans. they are under studying African blood to see why they are not having much cases in Africa.
6. A Ghanaian died on Thursday in his room after an illness. More than 3 Chinese hospitals were called to treat him but they refused to show up until the guy died.

So let me stop abit here.

The Information Office of the Guangzhou Public Security Bureau announced today (April 2) at 0:40 in the morning: at 7:28 on April 1, the Guangzhou Public Security Bureau received 110 alarms, saying that in the isolation ward on the first floor of the hospitalized ministry in Jiahe District of the Eighth People's Hospital (hereinafter referred to as "City Eighth Hospital", a foreign patient diagnosed with novel coronavirus did not cooperate with the treatment and injured a female nurse. Immediately, Guangzhou Baiyun Police dispatched personnel to the scene for disposal.

After a preliminary investigation: At 7:20 on the same day, female nurse Wang of the isolation ward of the City Eighth Hospital asked a foreign patient (OKNKWONWOYE CHIKA PATRICK, male, 47 years old, Nigerian) to take a blood test, but he didn’t obey and attempts to walk out of the ward by following closely the nurse. The nurse instantly stopped him when she noticed it. However, she was pushed to the ground to beat, and the man even bit her face. After forensic examination, the nurse Wang was found injuries on her face, neck and waist, which were identified as minor injuries.
The foreign patient entered Guangzhou from overseas on March 20, and was tested positive through the nucleic acid testing for COVID-19. He was sent to City Eighth Hospital for isolation treatment on the 23rd. and the nucleic acid testing is still positive.


At present, the hospital has strengthened its security forces in the internal quarantine area. At the same time, the Guangzhou police have opened a criminal case to investigate this matter, and further strengthened the security force in and around the hospital. The suspect is currently undergoing isolation treatment under the supervision of the police. When the treatment is over, the police will immediately take criminal coercive measures and follow the laws and regulations of the People's Republic of China on Infectious Disease Prevention and Control Law, Criminal Law, and Law on the Administration of Foreigner Immigration and Exit and so on to take it seriously.
“The police reiterated that during the epidemic prevention and control period, all people entering China from overseas should strictly abide by the relevant laws and regulations of the People's Republic of China on Infectious Disease Prevention and Control and the relevant provisions on epidemic prevention and control. Public security organs will investigate their legal responsibilities for falsely reporting information, concealing illness, evading isolation treatment and observation, and other criminal acts such as refusing to implement the measures of epidemic prevention and control.”
