DaSugarBoi: Pls be extra vigilant when dealing with this moniker(IamOptional). He collected money as deposit for some items on clearance thread and asked them to pick up today, since morning the guy has gone incommunicado. Even the address he gave, the occupants said no one bears that name and nobody is moving out which means he gave a fake address. No one knows his actual mission yet. Noted. Thanks |

EmjaySimon: Good morning, Please I want to ask, the processing time for permanent resident visa is 23 months, does that mean we will have to wait for almost 2 years for the application? That's probably an average of processing times generated by considering all applications currently stuck in the system. |

Immortalregis: Good day guys. Just landed in North York as a PR. I'm currently in Airbnb till the end of the month but I was hoping to to get some tips on how to get survival jobs and accommodation. Any tips would be appreciated. Please I already know about kijiji and rentals.ca. I mean like "don't live in Ajegunle or Iloabuchi down" or "you should be looking for an apartment that has heater etc etc" and "run from ogoaja work". Any advice will be appreciated. Strictly survival jobs cos I'm already fed up of my old job type and I hope to transition into tech by January. Thanks in advance. HI. I sent you a pm |

iskilayodele: Anybody who has applied end of 2021 and beginning of 2022, should put it in mind that it’s going to take 22 months at least.
The new processing time is 22 months and that's why Eligibility and Background check are taking months to be completed The portal generated an average timeline based on start to finish duration for applications, now some applications are stuck with them and abandoned by even the applicants. The system took an average of stale and active applications and threw out 22 months as result. Copied |

With me having three travel histories, I wonder how long it will take them to do my background check; I haven't even received prearrival yet Not yet. |

iskilayodele: Some of those May and June applicants whom are yet to get PPR probably have a complex application. After medical is passed, it takes average of 4 months to complete the whole process. My opinion though. This isn't correct. I know so many may and June applicants with the most basic application, zero travel history and are still waiting to hear from IRCC. |

Jbosky: I think Mr IskilAyodele has a different opinion about May, June applications. I'm not worried, I just want to be on the same page with others. You're on the same page with majority of applicants from those months. You can order a gcms note or write to your mp to ease your anxieties |
