Hi. I'm an optometrist too. Uniben (class of 2016). What you need is a credential assessment, preferably from WES to apply for express entry.

How to use Hellofax to send degree certificate to WES

1. Go to https://www.hellofax.com/
2. Create an account
3. Log in to your account
4. Click the Add File button
5. Browse to the folder where you have your degree certificate
6. Select your degree certificate
7. Click Open
8. Type the WES fax number (4169729004) in the "Enter a fax" textbox
9. Click the Send button

Point to Note: You can write or type your WES reference number on a small piece of paper and attach to the top of your degree certificate.

Pls how do you go about faxing your degree certificate to WES?
What's their fax address?
amoskitto:
I just sent my degree certificate to WES via fax using Hellofax after receiving a notification from them yesterday. My concern is that it took WES over a month (about 40 days after receiving my transcript) to notify me that they require my degree certificate. All along, the status of my evaluation had been "Evaluation in progress; you do not need to do anything at this time". So now I'm wondering if the 20 days are already counting. Also, I have still not received any message from WES that they sent my transcript to my University in Nigeria for verification. Do they skip that process sometimes?

A colleague of mine who is also in the process of getting his credentials evaluatd by WES simply asked the school(UNIBEN) to reply the mail (at a small fee of course) but no courier was sent again to WES. This was some 4 weeks ago and he received a message this week that they'll send him the final evaluation on the 28th of this month. So I guess just an email will suffice.
moneybag4411:

Hello all, una no gree answer me on top this matter. However, I've been able to confirm from a staff of my school, who called me saying they got a message from Wes as regards verification and all that. I made sure to investigate a little by asking him for the full names on the request from Wes which he got correctly (that kinda settled my nerves on the legitimacy of his claim). However, he said I'll have to drop something (understandably as n naija we dey). He also said I'll need to pay for courier so he can reply wes. I'm of the opinion he can simply do that via email. House, I'd like to know, does he need to send anything to Wes via courier again? I already sent transcript and certificate.

Please help asap. I will be acting on this today. Don't want to pay courier and later find out there was no need.

But if he starts from the day she resumed work will that still be up to 12 full months?
Topsmamen:

1. Should be from the day she resumed work. A full-time employment should be at least 30 hours/week for 12 months (1,560 hours).

2. What to do when you cannot get a reference letter.

Well for my payment to WES 2months ago, i had to transfer the cash to my sisters account and make use of her Mastercard debit card(GTB) as I had only a Verve debit card(First Bank). Its also advised to use either GT, First Bank or Zenit Bank debit cards when doing the transfer as they have shown to be more reliable.Hope this helps
Marula:
You guys must forgive this village girl who keeps asking questions at every point. Am about paying WES for ECA to get my reference number. I want to initiate my transcripts at my institutions this morning and I see options that am unsure of

Credit Card: I don't have a Credit Card. I do have a Master Card Debit Card (ATM) will this work

Western Union Online Transfer: I don't know how this works although I do know there's Western Union in Nigerian Banks. I see stickers and ads at bank.

So which is the right one to choose? I'll prefer Master Card ATM Card or Mobile Bank Transfer from my phone whichever that works. Pleas answer if you know. Thank you.
