You can drive with previous users docs for as long as you like but
1. When police ask who owns the car, never tell them it's yours say it s for a friend or uncle or whatever.

2. If you meet police with choko 4 head they can ask you to call that uncle or friend let them speak with him to ascertain you didn't elope with vehicle.

Best advice most times is to change documents name to yours as soon as possible. But if the docs is in a female name, they won't bother you much.

If you tell them the vehicle is yours, they would charge you for not doing change of ownership, they would also ask for some lengthy docs either way one is screwed

I got a Used Toyota RAV4 2005 model in February 2022 and drove it from Lagos to Akwa Ibom. The previous owner used Mobil oil for service. I noticed the oil level dropped after 2 weeks and I also noticed some leakages around the bottom plate. My mechanic fixed the leakage and I decided to change to Genuine Toyota Synthetic Oil 5w30. It's been about a month and the oil level this morning is a little above Low on the dipstick. What could be the reason for this excessive oil consumption? I hear metal noise whenever the car is ascending. My mechanic said the car is doing internal bleeding and we would need to change rings and grind the bearing responsible for the metal noise. An Aston University undergraduate interrupted his lecturer by using a blender during a lecture, IGBERETV reports.

In the video which has gone viral, the student is seen blending an item. He then stopped and asked for permission from his lecturer to continue and surprisingly, the lecturer gave told him to go ahead.

Sharing the video on Twitter, Comedian Wale Gates said such can never happen in a Nigerian University as the student and his colleagues may spend 9 years in the school as punishment.

This happened while the people in the area were on general searching of all the houses in the community and cars that passes bye, where the pastor also part of the people going round with the search...So, when getting to his house, he gave excuse that his wife has went out locking the house...They choose to believe him all because he's Pastor and participated actively in the search....
All these happend just because they believe the missing child was Kidnapped by Yahoo boys in the street ( They have huge number of yahoo boys residing in the street)

Well, in the US, if the police have to search anyone's property, they must have the permission of the houseowner. Or resident. Or caretaker. If they don't then they have to get a warrant from a judge authorizing a search.

Cases have been thrown out of court over there because policemen searched a premises without permission and without a warrant.

I daresay the same thing happens in Nigeria.

Good morning everyone.

I was here on this platform in 2019 seeking for advice concerning Transportation business.
I eventually went into the business and it was a sad experience. You can read my previous threads for more information on the business.

After the collapsed of the transportation business, I venture into money lending business.

I lend money to people with the hope to get a refund with interests.

Since 2019 I went into the business, I have lent money to over 20 people and only 5 have refund the money.

Those 5 people who refunded the money, it was a fight before the refund.

Before I lend money to people, I make them sign T & C documents.
Some signed the hard copy others signed the softcopy.

When it is time to pay off, they refuse to pay. I have called them severally. At a point I told them to pay only the capitals and forget about the interests.

At a point some will make statements like "Don't disturb me. Even Federal Government owes. It is debt not stealing".

I had made arrangement that this December I will arrest some of them.

But recently I read on this platform that the police has no right to arrest anyone over debt.

Please how can I get them refund my money without involving the police?

Italian police took full advantage of one of their supercars to deliver a kidney for a life-saving transplant.

Reaching speeds of up to 230kph (143mph) officers drove their blue and white-coloured Lamborghini Huracian LP610-4 from the northern town of Padova, 500 kilometres (310 miles) down south to a hospital in Rome.
